Cleanliness. Front desk staff, especially Pieter. Perfect location.

Does not cater for Muslim breakfast. Our mng.breakfast was limited. A simple omelate could not be made. Cheeses on same platter of ham & pork. Cross contamination. But then so it is with most Hotels in Europe. Someday they would have to have separate kitchen facilities for Muslims.ln countries where it is enforces like some North American countries & one specifically, Mauritius & Reunion Islands, has seen their occupancy shoot through the roof.These Hotels's ratings by their Muslim guests gets easily spread.

The room design was amazing, the bathroom was super-large, the view nice and the main bed good. Breakfast was also good, above Amsterdam standards. Location was great, just a five minute walk from the train station, metro and car rental.

There were a few shortcomings in practicality especially with closets, which were ok size-wise but not in practical locations or opening. The worst part was the sofa bed, which was very uncomfortable, screeching and small. The room was intended for a family of four, however the sofa bed made it comfortable just for three.

My stay at Crowne Plaza Amsterdam was entirely satisfactory. Located in the heart of the business district, it's a solid choice for anyone on a work trip. The hotel offers all the basic amenities you would expect, with no complaints. While there aren't many thrills, the hotel provides a comfortable and convenient base for business activities. The rooms are functional, and the service is decent, ensuring a hassle-free stay. Crowne Plaza Amsterdam is great for those looking for a straightforward, no-nonsense hotel experience. It may not be the place for a memorable vacation, but it perfectly suits the needs of a business traveler.

Great location, clean area with 4 minutes walk connection with the metro to central Amsterdam. Originally we wanted a hotel in Central Amsterdam but now we are so glad that we did not take that choice. The rooms are big and in a like new condition. From Airport to the hotel it takes only 6 minute (YES 6 MINUTES) with the train and cost 3.5euro. This is the hotel to go to.

The hotel has a Japanese restaurant on the premises. As this is a " Concept restaurant" with tapas like portions we can tell you that the prices are way overpriced for qty of food you receive. The restaurant is the only no go item but you have 5-7 restaurants within 200meters. The service is great at the restaurant but the food itself...

The room was small but very nice. Great view and we were upgraded to a king sized bed. Water, coffee, tea, etc in the room. The location was close to the subway - easy to get to the crazy downtown area but more laid back around the hotel. The front desk staff gave us so much information regarding what trains to take, what other guests liked to do in the city, where best to park, etc. They were awesome! We did not eat at the hotel but it appears to have a new Japanese restaurant. We had a drink at the bar, which is very nice. Highly recommend

It's a great hotel, clean, charming and cozy. The staff is great and one receptionist in particular (Cindy) was simply delightful! She was extremely polite and genuinely seems happy to help! The breakfast there is also always delicious, especially the live cooking omelette station! I've stayed 9 days and wished I had stayed longer! The hotel for trees initiative is also very much appreciated, I've used it for the majority of my stay.

The hotel has an excellent location, close to a transport hub. The rooms are spacious with good furniture and a comfortable bed.

There is no point in ordering half board. Instead of dinner, they give you a voucher for a restaurant that you have to pay for. As a result, you end up overpaying when booking for a dinner that you then have to pay for again at the restaurant.

Zuid as a location was brilliant, very calm and quiet, a lovely place to come back to at the end of the day sightseeing. Extremely easy transport links via the Metro to Amsterdam Central. The hotel was spotless, incredibly professionally run and the rooms have great views and are extremely comfortable. We found it very good value for money and would definitely return. Breakfast was brilliant and so much lovely food to choose from.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy the Happy Happy Thai restaurant that is based in the Hotel, service was poor and food was not good. We would not recommend eating there.

Perfect location. Less than 5mins walk from Amsterdam Zuid where you can get to the airport in 11mins. Plenty of choice of trams and metro. Easy @30/40 minute walk into the city and @20min walk to the nearby Amsterdam Bos Very friendly and helpful staff Plenty of choice at breakfast and staff happy to accommodate any requests Rooms were large and very clean.

There wasn’t anything that I could find about the hotel that would disappoint

For parking (in garage nearby) would be good to explain that you can first drive up to the hotel, there get the (discounted reate) parking ticket. My manager now first drove to the garage, then walked up to the hotel (to get the discounted ticket) but had to drive out and in again in order to be able to use the discounted parking ticket.
