Great location walking distans to everything, Cafe and restaurants all around. Good hotel great value for the Price. Very safe the outside door only opens By ringing the bell for the staff to buz u in, reception staff 24/7. Very satisfied.

The stairs but thats normal in Amsterdam for small hotels but they r not so bad. Ask for a room on the first floor its. No water or Tea in the room you can buy from the mechine In the reception area for 2.50!! U can just go out side n buy from a café! Noticed that the bed sheets were not changed! I hope they change between guests!! My only real issue with my stay.

We were a group 12 senior footballers playing a local team and needed a place just to get our heads down for one night but be central for good bars, restaurants etc.. The Facade met our requirements perfectly. On a nice canal next door to good bars in easy walking distance to the station and areas of entertainment. The staff on reception were excellent, very helpful and courteous. The beds, we had six to a room, were very comfy. All in all a great hotel for our needs.

Little bit pricey, but accommodation in Amsterdam is!

The location is at the heart of Amsterdam suitable for couple and single travellers. Value for price was reasonable taking the location into account. The staff is super cheerful nor bad or dull. Average normal interaction. Clean and comfortable bed. Drinks available at reception through vending machines.

Not very quiet. I could hear loud steps from the corridors and the shared bathrooms of other rooms were next to my room which a bit noisy. No elevator and very tiny stairs. If you got a lot of luggage or can't go up high stairs, make sure to request ground floor room.

the location of this hotel is in the center of the city center, 2 mins walking to everything. Connects you to all the canals and the red light district magically. the room was a bit small and tight, yet very comfortable especially with the canal view. what this hotel is missing is the lift for the luggages as the stairs are tight as well abd it makes you a bit uncomfortable with your luggages. Tommy/Tobby is the most friendly welcoming staff that you can ever encounter in a hotel. He was amazing, supportive, smiley, talking to you as if you are friends and he knows you for a decade. I am not sure if it’s an M or B as I was high when he told me his name🤣. Cheers man, you will be the reason coming back soon.

Very easy going hotel, fantastic location, the view of the canal from our room was perfect and the staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of places to eat and drink just minutes away. This was my second time in the city and if I was going again I would probably rebook this hotel.

You best believe the comments about the stairs, 3/4 flights of VERY steep stairs, thankfully we didn’t have heavy luggage but ended up helping other guests throughout our stay. The bathroom was so small we had to use the toilet sideways…. But hey it’s Amsterdam!

Absolutely brilliant staff, clean and comfortable. Great location, central to everything and a short walk to the station.

This is no reflection on the staff or the hotel at all, only the time of week/year we spent at the hotel. The hotel walls are fairly thin, as we were staying when football was on we were woken by other guests during the night as they came back to the hotel. The stairs are steep, other guests going up and down them and chatting kept us awake at times. We thought this would be limited to the football guests but guests arrived at 2am one night and they were very loud - maybe reception could inform them that rooms are close together and people are sleeping...

located right in the red light district. staff were friendly and very accommodating. we got there early and we were able to leave our bags at the front desk and explore the city. building is old (obviously….its in downtown Amsterdam) with steep staircase. I’m not sure if there is a lift. the room was comfortable and clean. they have been remodeled recently. we stayed in November and didn’t think to turn the heat up when we got to the room so it was cold for a few hours until the radiators could catch up. would certainly stay again. thanks for the wonderful place to stay on short notice!

it was very clean and there was space to have your own breakfast in the little hall

you could hear all the movement of people inside the hotel and when I booked I didn’t notice it was very close to the red light district so when we came back to the hotel with kids the ladies already showing themselves in the window

The location is great, felt like having a refuge in the middle of the city where one can go in rest, take toilet breaks, leave luggages before check-in and after check-out, easy to pick up luggage before going to the train station. Lots of food in the area. When there was a system bug of overbooking, the hotel notified us and rearranged us at a new accommodation downtown and covered the price of the taxi to get over there. The hotel kept our bags for 2 nights while we traveled to other parts of the Netherlands. The lobby area in the front with sockets and plenty of seats, 24h reception.

Noise at night due to the bar outside. We were there in summer and had the windows open at night, also smell of grass every now and then, which was unpleasant. Although the hotel covered our taxi expense on the way there, they didn't cover the traveling expense (with luggage, distance of 23min by foot to the central station) to the train station the next day, which is what something we wanted to save on, having booked a place near the station. The man at the reception came across a bit intimidating for me, spoke fast, stern, not willing to negotiate anything, not rude, but very direct and not service personality and otherwise a fair person. The room is very small, steep stairs/no elevator, but seems to be the norm in Amsterdam.

The location was great, walking distance from the central station even with luggages and plenty of restaurant options in the area of all types at decent price. Walking distance to most of the sightseeing locations. Could leave luggages there and after check-in/out, the hotel kept our luggage for another 2 nights while we travelled with a lighter luggage in the Netherlands. So central we could just drop by for toilet or rest break between sightseeing outings. There is a small seating area with table and seats in the lobby, good for people in >2ppl room to get some space as the rooms are small. They have lots of sockets in the room and the seating area.

Room was very small, but felt like this is the Amsterdam standard. For >2ppl room, even with single beds, there is not enough room to have space between all of the beds, most of them are right next to each other. No elevator+very steep stairs, also seems to be the Amsterdam standard.
