Excellent location close to the railway station and easy walking to all areas of central Amsterdam and only half an hour to the museum platz (or you could use the tram/metro). Late arrival was no problem as the desk is manned 24 hours. Good size room and decent bathroom. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice touch that they presented you with a food parcel on checking out (snacks and a drink).

Only slight downside and this may only affect the top floor, was the constant rumble of what I assume were the aircon/heat units either on the hotel or neighbouring properties? and the pipes made a random drip noise. However, after the first night I got used to the sounds and slept better.

the property is right in the midst of everything and anything you would want to do in Amsterdam. the staff at reception are very good and very helpful with everything. we stayed there for 4 days and LUXER just grew on us. Highly recommend everyone to stay here.

Great location - very quick and easy from station. Friendly helpful staff. The hair dryer in our room didn't work, and the staff immediately acquired another - I think they actually went out and bought one.

With a hotel in this location there is always going to be some external noise. There was noise from people in street outside until quite late and early morning noise from bin collections. Anywhere in the centre will have this noise and you need to balance up the convenience of the location with the noise. The second night there was a lot of noise from next door room. The walls are very thin and we could hear every word of her telephone call. There was a lot of disturbance with people in and out of this room and running in the corridor, and by 1.30am I phoned reception and they sorted it out,.

clean, great location and comfy bed. they also gave us a packed lunch to leave with which was amazing in the queue at the airport!

small room

Fantastic location close to many Amsterdam Central (5 min walk), restaurants, and shops. The staff was also incredibly nice and helpful - they provided several great dinner recommendations. There was also a working elevator (which seems to be an uncommon commodity in the area) and a free espresso machine and croissants each morning.

The room was a decent size - a bit small by American standard but seemed very comparable, if not bigger than other hotels in the area. The bathrooms were similar - small by American standards but still very nice and usable, mainly just the shower was a bit small.

walking distance to Amsterdam central’s

The bathroom ceramic hand basin is far too big for a tiny bathroom, that you just don’t have the space in between the toilet to sit down to per or poop. When you sit down on the toilet seat and stand up after you pee or poop, your head hits the hard ceramic hand basin. you guys should just replace the oversized hand basin with a much smaller one, at least 50% smaller than the current one. And both me and my boyfriend are small people. just imagine a normal size person using the toilet to pee or poop?!! And for a big person, it is IMPOSSIBLE for them to sit down on the toilet seat as there is just NO room there between the hand basin and the toilet 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩

The staff were very polite, spoke really good english, and the location is in the heart of the Old City in Amsterdam. The room was a bit on the tighter side, but our bed was one of the more comfortable ones we had in our travels so far. It was clean, and the Wifi works well. The "breakfast" was complimentary coffee that can be had all day, with some croissants and a sponge cake, not much, but enough to get the day going. The coffee was fine tasting. You'll find most things one could need within walking distance, food, drink, etc. *there is a bar on the ground floor All in all, we enjoyed our stay of 4 nights here.

There wasn't much that we didn't like. Apart from the outside noise at night, everything was nearly perfect.

The staff are amazing! We were warmly greeted at the front desk and the check-in process was seamless. The location is great - it was quite central to everything we had planned to do (and even an easy walk from the station, lugging our suitcases). Made use of the complimentary coffee before venturing out each day to explore, and the complimentary tea to wind down after all the exploring. Room had the perfect temperature for hot summer nights.

My only complaints are that the bathroom was small, and in need of some repair (the shower kept leaking the whole night), I found the bedroom a bit small to open two suitcases at the same time (which obviously not a big issue, but a small inconvenience), and needs a few more lights in the room.

Facilities were perfect for myself as a business traveller; as was the location, for my purpose. Staff were extremely helpful, especially for myself as a foreigner. This was from the moment of check in, until departure. Fantastic bar and beer garden. Restaurant had a good menu, and the staff were very helpful describing the details of the menu to me (as it wasn't in English).

The only comment I would have, would have been no English version of the restaurant menu
