Wonderful and friendly staff. We stayed four nights with two kids aged 14 and 11. Centrally situated to the train station and all the key sites. Highly recommended. From Australia.

The location is perfect, close to the city center, the train station. Quiet neighbourhood. Perfect breakfast with good variety. Enjoyed the complementary coffeee and tea available 24/7 in the reception area. Clean rooms. Shery in the front desk was friendly, helpful and try to provide what we ask immediately.

The basement room was small but it was known before arrival so no suprise. The plumbing noise, the noise of water is a little bit annoying but it is not suprise for such renovated classical amsterdam houses.

Room was quite good and spacious. Toilet also was bigger than I expected and well designed. But no hot water in the shower :( Staff was friendly and helpful. We could leave our luggage there before check-in and after check-out.

Although the shower pressure was good, the water was not getting hot, only warm. After a long day, all you need is a hot shower, but it was not possible in our room.

We didn't expect double floor. We had two large beds on the first floor and small two beds on the second floor. Windows are glorious... They are huge.. The ceiling brings you to ancient times. The number was wonderful! The staff is really really friendly and ready to help you with any questions😃

Too small sink. You should have small hands😂 And when you're coming in the room, it feels like Africa. Temperature seems to be +35 . Definitely you can control temperature of the heater. But first 40 min you wanna die 😂

It’s close to Amsterdam Central station, 15 minutes walk to Dam square and close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Free coffee inside the reception area.

The elevator is odd, you have to press the button until you reach the floor. It’s scary like you’re stuck inside. We use the stairs though it’s a little bit steep and the steps are small.

The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. I had not traveled to Amsterdam previously, and I understand now that hotels like this must adhere to historic property rules, so not as convenient as the U.S.

There are no bakeries and near the hotel.

Location good, within walking distance of Central train station and most places of interest. Bedroom clean, beds large and comfortable, modern bathroom. Some steep stairs which could be a problem for some people but lifts available. Would recommend it.

The staff is amazing there. Very friendly and helpful. I arrived early and was exhausted after my transatlantic flight and the guys did their absolute best to help me and accommodate me as soon as possible.

The rooms look a bit old but idk it was fine.

Great location in central Amsterdam. Rooms are clean and modern. Complimentary coffee in lobby and books everywhere for guest use. Staff was great in assisting to reserve a taxi back to airport. Second time we use hotel due to the central location and still a quiet street.

Having already used the hotel in years past, I contacted the hotel directly to upgrade the size of room as an additional family member had been added to the trip. Hotel was not at all willing to upgrade the room and stated that ANY modification is considered a cancellation and therefore would be subjected to the total cost of room. That kind of customer service is very poor, as we were upgrading to a larger and more expensive room. The hotel would’ve made a profit. Due to this poor response, 2 of our guests booked a hotel down the street from this hotel at a better value.
