Breakfast was delicious in the comfortable, beautiful upper deck of the boat. Staff was very nice, friendly, tolerant and helpful. The location is superb in the center of town, but away from the crowds. Free cookies and coffee/tee all day. Many books and games available. Perfect for families. Lots of nice people on the boat

The accommodation in the lower deck was a bit small, as can be expected from seaman's cabins. My family went out strolling and biking, so they did not notice, but I had to stay home and rest because of a medical condition. But again, the common rooms on the upper deck were all wonderful and spacey

Friendly staff, nice common area with biscuits and tea whenever you want, games, great location, lovely vibe

Not that I didn't like it, just a heads up to be sure somebody on staff knows when you plan on coming around if you don't have keys!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Angeline! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, and having access to a bar where we could make tea and coffee anytime was a nice touch. The entire place was spotless, and staying on a boat hotel was a unique and wonderful experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center, which made it easy for us to explore Amsterdam by foot. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city!

The rooms were a bit small, but that’s to be expected for a boat hotel. Despite the size, they were cozy and well-maintained, adding to the charm of the overall experience.

Very friendly staff are always willing to help. Superb breakfast choices, free sweeties on the bar, and an honesty bar with very reasonable prices. The location was excellent for us, in the centre of the city but at the same time very quiet. We never heard any noise and slept really well. The cabins are compact with plenty of storage space, but we were only getting ready for going out and sleeping in them, so plenty big enough for the 2 of us. 100% recommend using the Hotelboat Angeline.

From the incredibly friendly staff to the beautifully designed boat interior with all the living essentials and a delicious rich breakfast, staying here is a must - both for adventure and comfort! Located 15 min. walking from the central station and the city centre, the accommodation is a great base for exploration. The three-bed room is well furnished and very comfortable. We enjoyed complimentary warm drinks in the cozy front side of the boat throughout the day. Very grateful to Daniel, Dylan and Boris for the hospitality and kind service!

Friendly, helpful staff. Chilled DIY snack bar service. All day, complimentary hot drinks. Lovely saloons. Nice deck area for sitting out. Great breakfast of cold meats, fresh fruit, cheeses, salad, Teas, coffee, breads & cereals. Quality old hardwood fixtures and fittings. Great view and location by Nemo centre barely 10min walk from the Central Station

The Ship staircases down to the cabins were in beautiful order, but walking down backwards is advisable.

Location was amazing, breakfast was fabulous—full breakfast with a wide variety of choices, from fresh warm croissants, fresh fruit, eggs to order, meats and cheeses, yogurts, breads and vegetables and excellent coffee. Crew were kind, attentive and helpful. Loved the independence too: afternoons lounging on deck, evenings hanging out in the main cabin with board games and self-serve beer and wine. Made our stay in Amsterdam very special and unique.

Steep ladder stairs going down to cabins was a surprise but my 88-year-old mom was able to manage them without any problems. There were air fresheners in the downstairs hallway which triggered allergies but crew kindly removed them when we asked. Also: bring your own snacks for later in the evening as after the fabulous breakfast coffee and tea, beer, wine, water and soft drinks are available but there are no food provisions for purchase on board.

Fantastic place for a sleepover. Nicely situated in a calm area. Very well handled by three awesome lads. Very helpful, great customer service. Neat, tidy and clean. The wooden surfaces are shiny. The rooms are small but cosy. The beds are good, the duvets warm. Each cabin has extra blankets for cold times. Breakfast is great, with pain au chocolat, freshly maid pancakes, different sorts of bread, plates with cheese and cold cuts (even chorizo), fruits and boiled, fried or scrambled eggs and 4 diff fruit juices. In the lovely entrance/parlour there is always a choice of coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and sweets for free. Plus beer, wine and beverages from the fridge to pay at a small price. Central location, next to the Nemo Scientific Museum and close to a big car park (multi-storey). A bike rental nearby (good prices) and some nice restaurants and cafés. Only 10min away from the Central station (by bike) and 20min from „De Jordaan“ with even more cafés, bars and restaurants and lots of fab stores. Loved it. We‘ll come back! Thanks Boris, Dylan and Daniel…

The boat itself is not soundproofed ☺️

Good breakfast with many options to eat from . Location is central and is at walkable distance to central station and to happening places in Amsterdam. Rooms are a bit small but since its a boat house but it makes up with adequate storage space so you would not find issues storing your luggage and keep stuff. Best thing is definitely the vibe , friendly staff and location . It has a good dining and sitting area where you can hang out and chill . The staff are very accommodating and do make you feel at home . I would like to thank Daniel and Alex and rest of the staff for being so welcoming and making our experience so great.

Dont think there was anything that I didnt like about the place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the delightful Houseboat Angeline in Amsterdam, and I can't praise our experience enough. Daniel, our host, made our visit exceptional with his warm welcome and invaluable assistance, truly elevating our stay. The accommodation surpassed expectations, offering a perfect balance of comfort and affordability. The continental-style breakfasts were a delightful way to begin our days, boasting both variety and delicious flavors. Opting for the houseboat experience, having typically chosen hotels in the past, was a decision I'm immensely grateful for. The communal area in the evening was a fantastic spot for relaxation. With complimentary tea and coffee readily available and a fridge stocked with beers and wines operating on an honesty box system, our evenings were filled with added charm. Conveniently sourcing drinks and snacks from the local supermarket enhanced the overall experience. One of the highlights was the communal dining experience on large shared tables. This not only made breakfast enjoyable but also provided an opportunity to meet interesting people and engage in delightful conversations. In summary, my stay on Houseboat Angeline with Daniel as our host was a unique and memorable experience. I highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a blend of comfort, affordability, and the chance to connect with both a welcoming host and fellow guests. A heartfelt thank you to Daniel and the entire team for making our Amsterdam stay truly special.

No issues.
