Clean room and good location. Peaceful but central enough to walk everywhere

4% surcharge for paying by card seems a bit unfriendly

Staff very kind and helpful. they offered to keep our bags there free of charge before check in and after check in. They even gave our daughter a little toy as a welcome gift. lovely touch. Great room, very well equipped and no street noise. Location is superb, we walked everywhere. There's a small lift that is a godsent if you are travelling with small children.

Pre-authorisation payment was taken and credited after the full payment was made at the property. Not a big deal but it was a first for us so we were a bit confused by the process. 2% charge if you pay by card (unless is maestro)

Great hotel, very friendly staff and excellent location. The room was bright, light, clean and fresh. Excellent shower and great kitchen facilities. We slept well and had no issues. It is situated in a quiet suburb that doesn't feel touristy and the local businesses are really excellent. It is still within walking distance of the museum District and tourist areas and has excellent tram access.

The stairs are very steep (normal for this type of property). There is a lift but if you're not comfortable with steep stairs, this might not be for you.

The personnel was really nice. The location was great - quiet but really close to tram stations (Leidseplein & Erlandsgracht) with great connections. Also walked by the canals to the very centre. The room was small (single bed) but cosy and comfortable.

I wouldn't say it was cheap + got double taxed because I had to pay with credit card (besides tourist tax) - even though it is not the hotel's fault. But otherwise, I had a lovely stay and I would totally recommend the place anyway.

The location is superb. The Museum district is very close, the Leiden square with lots of cafes and different entertainment spots is in a walking distance and it’s 30 minutes walk to the Dam square. There are a number of bus and tram stops where you can take a bus/tram to any place in the city and the trip won’t take long. Another advantage is a bus stop for a bus to/from the airport, which is very convenient. The staff is also very nice and eager to help if there is any need.

Everything was okay however it was quite cold in the room, the heating was low (I was staying in December).

Excellent location within walking distance of many city attractions. Room was newly refurbished and beds were very comfy. There was a coffee maker in room but as we are tea drinkers, we asked for a kettle which was promptly given to us.

No remote provided for TV in room, we had to ask Reception who held it in their custody. Also not happy about paying 2% extra charges for paying by credit card.

The 4% additional fee for Card payments was a little tricky to handle, but I guess that is the Hotel policy of whatever, just in case, you need to have cash if you want to spare some euros. The main light in the room did not work properly and the TV signal was weird. After all I managed to have a pleasant stay at the Hotel, not needing both of the above mentioned, but could have been better. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would visit again the hotel if I’d have the chance.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Although it is a small hotel everything has been well thought out for convenience. It is also well situated for visiting the main aspects of the city.

It would have been nice to have breakfast there as there is a small lovely garden to sit out in. However there is a coffee machine in the reception area.

The location was perfect as it was quiet at night. The staff were friendly and kind. The helped us find our way around and made great recommendations. The size of the room met our needs perfectly.
