Very human, smily and kind welcoming by young, enjoyed and helpful team. Sweets, pastries and good grain coffee machine in free access, en-cas delivered at check-out. Tiny room look like a vessel cabin but very confortable for one person. Location close to quite neiborought with cosy lifestyle and good restaurants.

There is no breakfast available at the hotel but it didn’t matter because right across the street was a lovely cafe (Moods) that served the most delicious breakfast options and teas/ coffee! Excellent location as well in Jordan. 10 / 15 minute walk from everything!! Great and friendly staff and just so many special touches. I will always come back here!! The room was cute, comfortable and speak and span! They gave a thank you gift bag at check out as well which was a lovely surprise.

The mattress could have been a little bit comfier but it was a mild inconvenience.

Arrived at the hotel after booking an hour before and recieved such a warm welcome, room was clean, facilities were great and was looked after from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, couldn't have asked for more and they were helpful with every request we had. As stated the hotel don't do breakfast but there is a lovely cafe opposite for that aswell as a resturant for dinner although the hotel do leave out pastries, have refreshments available, free water filling station , excellent coffee machine etc etc Location is amazing! Lovely quiet, friendly neighbourhood of Jordaan close to most attractions, 25mins walk in either direction will get you everywhere you want to go including anne frank, the main square etc lots of coffeeshops near by if that's your thing and staff don't mind what you do as long as your outside the hotel when smoking it. Felt comfortable and at ease the whole time A big thank you to the staff 🙏 Will definately be seeing you again

The hotel and rooms are on the smaller side but as a larger than life person who is 6ft6 and built like a bus it was absolutely fine, the only difficulty I had was closing the shower door and having enough room to wash in but most people will have no issue and it really wasn't a problem for me.

The location was great - it's in a really lovely part of town with some amazing coffee shops, restaurants and general shops nearby. It's also a very short walk from the town centre if you want to do that. I also found it to be very quiet to sleep even though I was only on the first floor and by the roadside.

As expected with Amsterdam, a lot of the period buildings are not the biggest and come in some unusual shapes. It means that the rooms are quite compact but still offer quite a lot of space for what you need. I wouldn't say this is a negative, but if you're looking for something more spacious, it's probably not the one.

The staff were all fantastic and really made our stay as they were so welcoming and helpful. Loved the free freshly made mint/herb flavoured water available in reception and that we could pop in for coffee at any time. Great from a sustainability perspective that the hotel offers reusable water bottles (we had our own already) and promotes using tap or the flavoured tap water rather than providing bottled water. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel is in a great central location but still quiet and with many cafes nearby.

The shower was fairly small.

Linden Hotel is located by a canal in a quiet street, very close (5 min walk) to the city centre. Somehow, you feel like a true Amsterdammer... The room is tiny but comfy, the owner and staff are real pro, very helpful and charming The place is extremely clean and there is a nice smell in the air. The owner pays attention to the smallest details: free postcards, lemony water, pastry coffee in the lounge etc.. No breakfast available on the spot but there is a cool place where to eat next door There are plenty of small and nice restaurants nearby.

The hotel is,located at 20-30 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station. At the moment, the station area is very busy with road/bridge and tram rail works and I found it difficult to get out of the maze. However, it is only temporary (end of road work expected by May 2025) and it is obviously not the hotel's fault

I stayed at the Linden with my family. It felt very safe and we were easily able to walk to access sites and restaurants. The hotel was very quiet and we were able to sleep easily there. My kids enjoyed the evening pastries and the adults liked the coffee. It is noteworthy that the rooms also had air conditioning, which we appreciated. Friendly staff and the snack bags at check out were a nice touch!

Typical of a canal house, the accommodations were tight. The family room actually was larger than I expected but the shower was tiny! We managed well, but are also on the shorter end.

Everything ! It was the nicest little hotel in the quietest , loveliest neighbouhood in Amsterdam. We loved the actual traditional building & while small the space was so well utilised. The staff were so friendly & helpful during our stay & had great recommendations as to what to do, where to go & where to eat etc. The freshly baked pastries in the lobby and free coffee/tea downstairs were a lovely touch. As for the goody bag on checking out ...that was a touch of class. The bedroom while tiny utilised the shape of the building perfectly & contained everything you could wish for. ....even free refillable water bottles! Beautiful scents in the room, the most comfortable bed and an ensuite shower room with a great shower. Coffee/tea-making facilities, hairdryer & hair straightner in the room and iron available at reception.The whole place was bright & airy and spotless.You could see the pride the staff took in the hotel.What more could you ask for ! The neighbourhood as I said is lovely & there are really nice restaurants /cafes just down the street , with a lovely cafe opposite for breakfast. It is about a 20 min walk from both Dam Sq and Centraal Station. We loved the walks to the hotel as we got to see beautiful canals, houses, streets etc. I can guarantee that if we return ro Amsterdam we will stay here again. We highly recommend the Linden Hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam who want to stay in a very unique property.

Staff extremely helpful. Common kitchen and lounge are excellent. Location is also fantastic.

The room is a bit small, but as a solo traveler it was okay for me.

The location was ideal. Just outside the busy area so it was quiet at night. It was close to everything we needed and easily walkable. Close to transportation, the Anne Frank house, canal rides, restaurants, and shopping. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved our stay.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Just be aware there are a lot of stairs. They do have an elevator but it is very small and slow. We opted to take the stairs. We loved our stay and cannot think of anything we didn’t not like.
