The very clean room was comfortable but more basic than I expected for the price paid. It was more spacious than our friends’ room apart from having to sit sideways on the toilet. Having read all the particulars about the property we realised the rooms could be smaller. Liked the coffee room and fresh pastries in reception. Very short walk to central Amsterdam and plenty of cafes and restaurants within easy reach. Very good breakfast cafe a short hop across the road. Staff were all friendly and helpful

Probably the addition of an armchair instead of a wooden chair in the room would have been good. Also we were not au fair with Amsterdam hotel prices and were a little surprised at the cost.

Beautiful location with lots of charming restaurants and shops within an easy 5- minute walk. The family room was large with comfortable beds and a lovely view. We really enjoyed our interactions with the hotel staff. Everyone was super helpful and friendly, offering excellent advice on restaurants and directions. The gummies and goodie bag on departure were an especially nice touch. Very personal service. Overall great stay!

My only complaint is the toilet - shower design. It was a small area so the design had to take that into account, but it was done very poorly. There was a ledge over the sink that made washing your face extremely difficult. Also, I’m 60cm and I found it cramped to sit on the toilet. A tall person would have to sit sideways, which I guess would make for a fun, new adventure. 😄 It wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t stay again. Minor inconvenience, but it would not work for a larger person at all.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Hotel was beautiful, clean and added bonus with pastries and coffees. Staff were very friendly and so helpful.

Very human, smily and kind welcoming by young, enjoyed and helpful team. Sweets, pastries and good grain coffee machine in free access, en-cas delivered at check-out. Tiny room look like a vessel cabin but very confortable for one person. Location close to quite neiborought with cosy lifestyle and good restaurants.

To reduce noise from lobby to rooms area.

The hotel is very cosy and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The area is safe and quiet, and there’s a great cafe right in front of the hotel with delicious breakfast options, and lots of nice restaurants just a short walk away. The room was clean, and the complimentary candies were a sweet touch. A Bolt ride from AMS airport cost around €25. I’d definitely stay here again.

The room itself is quite small, and the shower cabin is really tiny. I’m 170 cm tall girl and it was already a bit difficult to move inside - can’t imagine how taller or bigger guests would manage. Otherwise, everything was great.

Excellent stay in a central location, stayed for 5 days while on holiday, and overall, it was a good experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm, comfortable atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is clean, modern and well-maintained. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary coffee, tea, biscuits, and pastries available throughout the day. It's also centrally located in a great area, making it easy to explore the city and access nearby attractions.

The only downside was the shower drainage, which caused some flooding on the bathroom floor. While not a major issue, it was a bit inconvenient.

The room was exactly what we needed. The website was accurate that the rooms in the hotel are small, which I was looking for, so I was not surprised that the room was small. But it was clean and had everything I needed. The location is excellent. We walked all around Amsterdam from there. There were a lot of good options for eating nearby. The hotel has a fun atmosphere. The people were very nice. I enjoyed the pastries in the afternoon and the readily available candy.

This may seem like an odd comment, but the towels were clearly not particularly new or thick. I actually liked this because I prefer a broken in, thin towel, but others might not expect this. There could also have been more hooks for towels in the bathroom.

People running the hotel think of small details which surprices you in the most positive way. Cute “rules” book, bottles to not waste water, tea at the room, or great coffe at the reception. At the reception were also candies and yummy pastry to grab. Telephones are outdated, here you WhatsApp requets. 👌🏻 While you leaving, they gave us big bag of snacks on travel - absolutelly love d it. Room was clean, ready, everything was so cute, and we felt like the most welcome guests. If we will come again, only to this hotel. And honestly I wish, that every hotel would be like Linden.

There is no breakfast available at the hotel but it didn’t matter because right across the street was a lovely cafe (Moods) that served the most delicious breakfast options and teas/ coffee! Excellent location as well in Jordan. 10 / 15 minute walk from everything!! Great and friendly staff and just so many special touches. I will always come back here!! The room was cute, comfortable and speak and span! They gave a thank you gift bag at check out as well which was a lovely surprise.

The mattress could have been a little bit comfier but it was a mild inconvenience.

Arrived at the hotel after booking an hour before and recieved such a warm welcome, room was clean, facilities were great and was looked after from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, couldn't have asked for more and they were helpful with every request we had. As stated the hotel don't do breakfast but there is a lovely cafe opposite for that aswell as a resturant for dinner although the hotel do leave out pastries, have refreshments available, free water filling station , excellent coffee machine etc etc Location is amazing! Lovely quiet, friendly neighbourhood of Jordaan close to most attractions, 25mins walk in either direction will get you everywhere you want to go including anne frank, the main square etc lots of coffeeshops near by if that's your thing and staff don't mind what you do as long as your outside the hotel when smoking it. Felt comfortable and at ease the whole time A big thank you to the staff 🙏 Will definately be seeing you again

The hotel and rooms are on the smaller side but as a larger than life person who is 6ft6 and built like a bus it was absolutely fine, the only difficulty I had was closing the shower door and having enough room to wash in but most people will have no issue and it really wasn't a problem for me.
