Love every aspects of this hotel. Location was great - just a 10min walk and it was a nice breezy walk to the Amsterdam Central. The room was cosy and has this nice, homey vibe. The jacuzzi in the room was definitely a plus point! I love the connected private inner yard. Room comes with complete amenities and a coffee machine! The breakfast was great too, love the croissants and the staff were very attentive to serve me halal chicken slice and vegan cheese without me asking.

room size could be better, but since I was traveling alone, it's just nice. Would be a bit crowded though if I was traveling with a partner or family.

The break fast was delicious I thought it would be buffet style but you order anything you want from the menu and they will bring it to you. Michael the young man served us while we stayed there such a nice and helpful guy.Luca upgrade our room when we checked in so nice of him and Diego help us with our taxi in the morning we had to leave very early to the airport. This hotel let you see the canals and experience Holland and it was 2 minutes away from Ann Frank museum. I will definitely recommend and come again here. I love their bar the place is beautiful and cozy.

Our bathroom drain was so slow I had to open the drain system so the water can empty in the bathtub. The lights in the room were dim for me.

Fabulous welcome on arrival after delayed flight - the bar was shut but was reopened for us so we could have a nightcap. Staff left birthday welcome in our room which was also gratefully received and really cheered us up after our long trip. Room was lovely, beds comfortable and aircon very efficient. We even had a little terrace outside. Breakfast good - table service to order - although service was a little idiosyncratic, which is the main reason I couldn't give a higher score.

The hotel is split into two buildings, so you may be housed 7 doors down, which might not be very convenient in inclement weather for breakfast/bar. This isn't stated when booking but wasn't an issue for us.

Everything made our vacation perfect: the location - everything is close to the center of Amsterdam, no need for taxis at all! The view from the room- we were upgraded to the garden view, the huge mirror jacozzi is perfect to relax in at the end of the long walking day. The breakfast is excellent- assorted cheese, eggs, yogurt, coffee, smoothies etc. The staff is beyond and above especially Aommima who seems as if from outer space- so agreeable and ready to make our vacation dreamy. Thanks a lot, to all of you guys, we found our hotel in Amsterdam!! We will definitely come back!

The lights in the toilet shut off every few minutes because of the sensors so it was not a nice experience. Nothing else!

Helpful friendly staff, well appointed room and great location for exploring the city! Very close to the nine streets and tram station nearby keeps you well connected with other parts of the city. I had originally booked a 'cosy' single room but reception very kindly upgraded me to a larger room on arrival since I was staying four nights. Very grateful for this as the rooms are on the smaller side (quite common for Amsterdam) but very comfortable. I'm very happy that I opted to stay in a converted canal home with lots of personality vs a more conventional hotel stay. Would recommend!

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating to unfortunate travel disruptions. The room had a fun, funky interior and I felt the hotel's overall aesthetic to be quite sophisticated yet cool. Amsterdam is a walking or cycling city and I found the location to be perfect for my stay. I took a few taxis which were easy and reasonable as well. It was very hot during our stay and the air-conditioning in the room was excellent!!

Single occupancy rooms in Europe are tiny! It still was a great room, but expect small rooms if you are on your own. Bed was a queen and very comfortable. It was also very quiet despite Amsterdam being a noisy city, which I very much appreciated. So really no complaints.

The best hotel in Amsterdam I visited Amsterdam 5 times and stayed in several 5 star hotel and so far this is really the BEST hotel there, the personalization experience is amazing which so many other hotels lack without knowing how important it is to the customer to make them feel like it’s home not only an hotel everything u need to know: I booked the rooms with jacuzzi for 6 days. rooms: in my opinion the room size was good not too small as other reviews size, the jacuzzi is heavenly I swear it added a huge relaxing touch to my trip especially when I come back from the cold weather, the view to the garden, the bathroom without a door only a certain, the tv is not smart it’s just a normal one, you are not allowed to smoke inside the room, and only u can smoke cigarettes in the garden. staff : amazing amazing amazing, excellent, professional and well trained, very polite and very helpful. they would try to help as much as they can and go extra. very welcoming, and they take care of everything and make u feel like the most important person in their hotel. hotel restaurant: their breakfast is quite good and the food taste is delicious, I tried also the dinner and ordered burgers they were yummy. shout out to the gentleman working there I’m sorry I forgot his name but he by far one of the greatest loving hotel staff. I loved how there were always umbrellas to take when it’s raining, a chair outside the door, and when it was wet the staff came to clean in order for me to sit there and smoke. the cleaning: is five out five, shout out to all the cleaning staff and the women who helped me with a personal issue without even understanding my language she tried her best and assisted me which was very heart warming. how to get to the hotel from airport: very easy take the train to the central and just walk for 15 mins or less if u were fast, what I would suggest? after arriving to the central with the train take an Uber Cz the rain make the city floor very...

Location is great, walking distance to many attractions. You don't need to Uber or Taxi. Staff is friendly, polite, and accommodating. There are many hotels within the vicinity, but service is extremely important, and the staff at the Toren are amazing. Front desk staff, restaurant, and the bar tender provide excellent customer service. I really like the restaurant at the hotel. The food is excellent, and so is the service.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my experience. The staff were attentive and helpful. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable. Room service provided clean towels and linens on the bed daily. The breakfast was fresh with quality ingredients. In addition, a great location. Away from major tourism but walking distance to everything Amsterdam has to offer. I look forward to visiting again!

What could have made the experience even better would be integrated USB outlets near the bed for my electronics.

Location was excellent. Could walk to the major sites and surrounded by restaurants. Staff was as good as it gets: thoughtful, helpful, willing to do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Bed very comfortable; free soft drinks in the fridge.

Stairs. Like all canal house hotels, there are stairs to deal with even with an elevator. I prefer this hotel to a chain, but even a small number of stairs can make reaching your room an issue if you have arthritis or other mobility issues.
