Location next to metro station, easy access to centre of the city. Very clean and nicely decorated. FREE PALESTINE Spacious and great layout in the family room. Fridge to store food. Great breakfast.

Rooms and communal areas were beautiful and spacious. Plenty of lifts so never left waiting long to get up to your room. Staff on the front desk were lovely and so helpful! Hotel was incredibly quiet and the views over the river were stunning.

Layout of the hallways echoed a bit so you could sometimes hear people having conversations, but given how full the hotel was it was remarkably quiet. Housekeeping were a bit overly helpful - I didn't like that they'd repacked my suitcase and rearranged all my items in the bathroom. I understand they need to clean, but it felt a bit invasive and I'd never stayed in a hotel where staff has repacked my suitcase before.

The hotel was largely impeccable. The furnishing, decorations, etc... were all in excellent state and very clean! The common areas are confortable and elegant; and the location, literally in front of a metro station, is extremely convenient. The bedroom windows do open wide enough to let some air inside (a problem in some hotels, not this one) and the bedroom itself in quite spacious and not very expensive (compared to other hotels in the city). There is a surprising amount of space to sit or place objects around the room!

Many services, including parking, bike rentals, and breakfast, come with additional charges. It would be more courteous to offer these complimentarily to customers, who have already paid for the room. The breakfast is decent, particularly the charcuterie, but (at least during winter) there were very few fruits and vegetables options. Among itens absent were: melons, watermelons, papayas, pineapples, mangoes, grapes, pancakes, waffles, mushrooms, beans, rice and baked tomatoes. No hair conditioner was offered at the shower. Speaking of which, the shower screen glass does not completely enclose it from the rest of the bathroom, making it somewhat impossible not to spill a bit of water on the floor during a shower.

Rooms are clean, comfortable and with good sound proofing. The airconditioning is quiet and works well. The location on the south side of the Maas means you are not dead in the (commercial) center of Rotterdam, but the Metro (RET) right next to the hotel takes you there in 2 minutes.

I booked the ART as friend and I were going to the "Ahoy" for the Six Day Cycling, for two nights. Hotel was a 25 minute walk - perfect. The room was massive, two nice comfy beds, two arm chairs, big tv, lovely shower. Used the gym for a quick 4km cycle spin as part of my daily exercises. Breakfast was outstanding just about everything you'd need. Interesting that the tables were bare so you went for everything you needed leaving the table uncluttered with stuff you didn't use (I like that). The bar had nice beer including Guinness, lots of seating. Restaurant was busy and well used. Hotel looked after our luggage for a few hours before we headed home in the late afternoon. The Metro and tram stop were very close.

NO milk for coffee or tea in the room. And limited supply of the coffee and tea. Lifts were playing up a bit - no collective control for the three lifts - lift controller would not accept a landing 'call'. No porridge for breakfast - but I guess they would have provided it if I'd asked. I wanted to walk up to my room on the 5th floor - eventually found some stairs but locked myself out on the emergency staircase, my mate had to come let me in - good job I had my phone on me!! So where are the stairs for guests who do not like lifts/ elevators and or want to keep fit?

All was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge area is very comfortable and cosy.

The restaurant menu is over priced.

Although the hotel is not located in the centre of Rotterdam, a metro station is located outside the hotel, and it is within walking distance of Zuidplein. I booked the room via booking.com, the room was certainly value for money (the best room I had (and cheaper) in The Netherlands) and very spacious. I would have extended my stay, but due to my additional nights falling on the weekend and incurring much higher rates, I had to check out. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I booked the hotel based on on-line reviews. I did not have breakfast, but did have one meal in the restaurant.

Great location. We stayed here for Rotterdam Rave, couldn't have picked a better location. It's only 1 metro stop away from the Rotterdam Ahoy and the after party's at Massilo which was just a few minutes walk away from the hotel. The metro station is right opposite the hotel and you can get into various parts of Rotterdam from here within a few stops, including the city centre and De Kuip. Pretty convenient in terms of supermarkets and shops as well. Hotel staff were always very helpful and welcoming, we were upgraded to the Suite room which was fantastic. The bed was huge and really comfortable and our room had a great view of the canal and beautiful skyline. It was a great stay overall.

Not much around hotel, particularly right side walking out seemed run down. We were allocated a twin room (we booked for a double) literally next to the lift which we don't like. Anyway we asked for another room n it's promptly addressed by the manager. The lights n space in bathroom should be better, light source away from mirror n space where we can usually put our toiletries is above the toilet above 2 metres from basin. No proper thought process re this seemed to be during their renovation.

Beautiful location and view, dependent on the side of the hotel you are on you see the city or far into the distance of the Netherlands. The rooms are really well built and the toilet/shower has been really well designed also. They allow for a cheaper parking in their own car park ( very modern but cannot hold large cars ) for a deposit and cheaper then city/outside parking. The staff was really helpful with the only issue I had, which was when my access card wasn't recognized anymore.
