Such a lovely quirky hotel. Beautiful room, which I think they had upgraded, so my friend and I had rooms with little terraces between them. It felt like our own private small boat garden. Great bedroom and bathroom. Lovely restaurant with good evening meals and an excellent breakfast buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it was in a beautiful area of the city.

Although it was great to have parking, which I know is difficult in the city, it was tricky to use. Parking on a street with hardly any parking in order to get a key to the garage from reception, and then having to do the same in reverse afterwards was difficult (and I'm very glad there weren't any traffic wardens around!). I wonder if there might be a way to improve that? Other than that I loved the hotel and its surroundings.

This is quirky hotel sitting on the water. We were here in winter, but I imagine a stay in summer where one can sit on a decked area might be more enjoyable. The family room is kind of tight, but adequate. Breakfast is basic, but enough. We prebooked a paid car park through the hotel which was located across the road. Easy to navigate. We appreciated the common area in the hotel where we could sit and meet a friend who worked close by. Hotel staff tuned the TV to a World Cup match for us and we sat and enjoyed snacks and drinks from the bar while watching the match. The Market Hall is a short walk away and we had a fabulous tapas dinner here. The selection of cuisines was endless. Also contains a great supermarket. Overall, a well located option for central Rotterdam.

We are a family of 4 with a 19 and 21 year old adult children with us. The bunk beds provided in the family room aren’t really appropriate for adults.

Very cool location near central Rotterdam, about a 10-15 minute walk to the Cube Houses and Markthal. Barges built in Mississippi, USA and floated over during WWII, now repurposed as a floating hotel. The only floating we felt was on the floating terrace off the restaurant, the main hotel is very stable. Rooms had plenty of space. Super friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Staff were excellent at advising about parking since our 1.82 meter high car wouldn't fit in the hotel's car park, but Apple Parking in the next block was very clean and secure.

Everything here was great. There was a minor oversight in cleaning our room, but staff responded immediately and cheerfully.

The Hotel & Staff were excellent. Once you find your bearings and know what tram to get to Rotterdam Centre is very easy to get around . The hotel is two stops from Rotterdam Centre and a 5 min walk . If you want to stay around Rotterdam it is only about 10min walk from the Hotel. Out the main entrance take a left walk down to the second bridge left over the bridge and its a straight walk into centre. If you are there the weekend there is a fantastic market just as you go over the bridge also on the left is the Market Hall this is the largest building with food from every country you cam imagine well worth a visit also just across from the metro station is the Maritime Museum also worth a visit .

Everything you need is in the room however as it it biased on a ship the pipe work runs across the celling so every time a toilet flushes through the night you can here it this can keep you awake. We were unlucky with the weather as we had a lot of rain and with the windows been circle like you would see on a ship the rain belted down on this also so not much sleep was had . I think in summer this place would be excellent. So not really a reflection on the Hotel it is something to keep in mind during winter.

Everything, the room is nice , the terrace is great and the location is incredible. The buildings around the hotel are just fantastic examples of Dutch city architecture and at night it's just lovely. The area is close to the Markthaal yet peaceful at night and round the corner from a Japanese Curry House that was phenomenal. The breakfast is nice, staff were happy and friendly. Fantastic experience.

If you get a room with a terrace there is only one window which initially is a downer but that is literally the only thing that was even remotely bad

We were pleasantly surprised that we had a room above deck with a little terrace iverlooking the canal. After a day of sight seeing we enjoyed sitting out there at night with a drink looking out over the water (we did not book a water view room, they are below deck with a little port hole). Beds were really comfy, rooms were bigger than expected and clean. Close to train station and down the road are some really nice restaurants on the side of the canal.

We were disappointed that the restaurant didnt open until 5pm and the bar didnt open until 4pm. We wanted to experience the food after check out and couldn't. So we thought we would have a drink instead but again it wasnt open. Fire alarm went off in all rooms at 1am one night but i suppose that is probably an error of a guest smoking or something in the room and not the hotels fault. Fire alarms work can be a positive i suppose! Would have appreciated some water in the room or a little fridge to keep ours in. We went to reception to see if we could buy some water but they didnt have any and we were told to just drink the tap water.

Friendly staff. Option to not have your room serviced if staying two days or longer. In exchange a 5€ voucher was given to spend at the Bar. Had a deck to sit out on which was nice in the evening. Air conditioning. Tea and coffee in the room. Excellent location with plenty of eating places and supermarkets close by.

Poor lighting in the room but this seems to be the norm in Europe?

The hotel is situated on the water "barge-style". It is quite big so you don't feel any movement from the water. The room was simple but comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious. The hotel is situated within walking distance to the Markthal, cube houses etc. Thank you for a lovely stay- we hope to be back again soon!

The lighting in the room could be improved. A mini fridge would also be nice.

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the gimmick of a "boat-el" was very cool and fun, room was very comfortable, modern and pretty. We had booked a room with a terrace but weren't able to use it because of weather but it looked very pleasant.

Shower was way too difficult to control and the drain cover kept coming off easily, also in the morning there was loud construction that woke us up much earlier than we wanted but that was probably only an issue for the date we booked

Cute property in a great location (just 5mins away from Markthal) and easily accessible by tram or train from Rotterdam Centraal. Great views of the sunset from its bar/restaurant and we were even offered a welcome drink upon arrival!

Room was a bit cold upon arrival as the a/c was at full blast but that was easily solved by turning it off for the rest of our stay.
