Lovely setting, views to the harbour. Gardens to view and quiet.

No information in the rooms for guests re restaurant, or other hotel services etc. when questioning reception they advised that this information was on line, but even that information was not available in the rooms. Lots of mosquitos and bugs in the room, and no spray to deal with them.

Lots of space and beautiful facilities. The breakfast was delicious.

The room could have been a bit cleaner - there was still hair and a bit of rubbish in the bathroom and there was a rat trap under the desk that my 1.5 year old found.

Location was fabulous, staff were amazing and very helpful, the booking and checking in process was so easy. Villa was very clean and tidy.

Cups and tea/coffee in the room but no water supply apart from the bathroom sink which I'd rather not use. A few bottles of water in the fridge would be nice. Air conditioning unit appeared broken and was leaking a lot if left on for 10-15 min. Staff were very helpful but not much they could do as everything was fully booked. We understood the situation but it would've been nice to have a cool room to go to after a day out in the sun.

The view was exceptional, and the room was impressive.

Sunday breakfast was terrible, the buffet just kept running out of food, I ended up with a pice of toast with some egg on it. Monday's breakfast though was fantastic.

Huge room. Beautiful location. Bath under the skylight. Comfortable bed. Lovely, welcoming staff. It was great to see that the managers have taken people’s comments on board and provided missing items to the rooms. All in all it was a lovely relaxing stay with only minor issues.

Tv was a pain. No satellite. Cromecast was problematic. Wifi is slow. Rooms need some love. Although they were spacious and had a lovely layout they are tired. Heat pump is old. Having read previous comments I knew what to expect and I appreciate that these issues are somewhat out of the staffs hands.

We liked how spacious the room is, we liked the location. We loved waking up to the beautiful views of rangitoto island. I really enjoyed having a bath looking up at the stars through the skylight. If you have a special occasion with your significant other this place is for you, Defiantly a couples retreat. I would come back here again as it was cheaper then getting a room in the city

There was no plug for the bath so had to call up reception . There is also no kitchen facilities nor microwave so you will have to eat out or go to the restaurants by reception. Also the drvewayay to the rooms are very narrow , we were lucky to have a suzuki swift but any larger vehicles may struggle abit

We shared room with another couple and there was plenty of space with a huge bathroom. Had a very nice outlook over the bay. Breakfast and our complimentary drink and nibbles plate was excellent. Staff were exceptional and even when power was cut they went out of their way to help us. It was easily got to by ferry from Auckland to Pine Harbour.

We wanted to go out for dinner to a suburb about 20 mins away . We booked a taxi and checked several times but never turned up. Staff helped us ring them but were told after 1 1/2 hrs taxis don't go out that far. The hotel staff did more than expected and we thank them. Only other thing was no where to go for a walk as in a golf course. Neither of these things is against the hotel itself just due to its location.

Loved how spacious the rooms are, the comfortable bed, the amazing bathroom and incredible views! Staff are supper friendly, love the girl with all the piercings at the restaurant! I love that there were young staff and that they were laidback and not so formal like other places.

The breakfast wasn’t that great. The eggs were cold, the bacon tasted like rubber and so hard to try and bite into. I felt like it was reheated bacon that was a week old. The rest of the breakfast was pretty good though.

Rooms great, fantastic view from villa 10. Excellent dinner and drinks in the restaurant in the evening, attentive staff. Breakfast was tasty but quite depleted in supplies by the time we arrived at 9.15. The chef made us fresh scrambled eggs and the floor staff brought fresh juice out.

We didn’t realise a hot tub was a bath though so was expecting a spa bath/spa. The heat pump was a little noisy through the night to keep it at an adequate winter temp. Very minor niggles though, overall very happy and would recommend.

Our room was spacious and clean. Decor was a bit of the old mixed with the new. Great breakfast selection. Hot and cold options - nice and simple not too complicated. Staff were helpful. Stunning views of the course whilst having brekky was definitely a great way to start the day.

There always seemed to be items missing from the breakfast selection that you had to wait for. If there was lots of eggs, there's was no bacon etc.. Pool/ gym facilities not available at the moment but still worth the stay for us as we took the kids to the range instead.
