Brilliant little motel in a convenient location just off state highway 1. Myself and my father have stayed here before and received the same brilliant hospitality . Hosts are friendly, rooms are no frills very clean has everything you need bathroom and kitchen amenities provided utensils. Linen is fresh and clean and beds were comfy. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. Great food bar across the road that opens early and motel is located about 2min drive from the main Foxton centre. Great location, great place to stay and great, friendly hosts what more can I say

No cons at all place is fantastic

We stayed in a unit with a full kitchen, so we could make our own food and tea/coffee etc. Always cosy staying here in Foxton, close to all amenities, just walk across the road to the shop or cafe for cooked breakfast. Big carpark outside your unit, outdoor flow and spacious bathroom with a separate toilet. Most motels or hotels have a toilet in the bathroom.

We liked everything.

Compfy, great location, great parking for ute with trailer. Whenever we do a big trip, we stay here, its well priced and the guy who owns it is welcoming and just a really nice friendly man to deal with. Its always clean and tidy.

The tap in the kitchen sink drips a bit but its an easy fix.

It was great for our one night stay. Good sized rooms with a good kitchen. Owner adjusted rooms so that we could as a family of 6, have 2 rooms beside each other. There was a trampoline & big grass area for the 2 children to release some of their energy.

The security catches on the kitchen windows were loose & the windows wouldn’t stay open. Thankfully we found a small portable fan to cool the room a little.

Everything. It had everything I had asked for with in walking distance. 2mins to everything. To be able to go to my family within walking distance and come back to my motel, shower, sleep, eat . Even though the motel was a little dated it still fulfilled all our needs. The beds were extremely comfortable and we appreciated the bakery across the road, it was handy for a quick and easy breakfast with lots of variety. The manager was very approachable and understanding. I had to call on his services a couple of times - one was a problem with a blown lightbulb and the other was caused by us that the manager rectified promptly and we were so grateful we were not charged extra. A very enjoyable stay for a family of one adult and four children.

The beds were so comfortable I fell asleep ahead of the kids!

Perfect location for us to attend a funeral. The price was great for the size of the room. Kitchen had lots of utensils to use and the bathroom was perfect as well. Appreciated the free wifi. Overall a very pleasant stay

There was nothing I didn't like

It;s a motel there was no breakfast - but it was comfortable, easy to find and gave us a good nights sleep

The reception wasn't manned - it's nicer to have the personal touch but quite understand that this is sometimes not possible

The heater in the room didn't work or I couldn't figure out how. Didn't work last time I was there I think in the same room. Needs fixing, replacing or operating instructions.

The gentleman at reception was very helpful and polite. Even though it looked like an older motel it was very well kept.
