I was very happy with my stay. It started with the ease of making an online booking. The photos are true to reality. My room was actually a bit bigger than I thought it was going to be. The gentleman at reception was very friendly and helpful and check in took only minutes. Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to use the heated pool and spa (time constraint), but it was a nice touch that it was part of the facilities. The location is perfect. It's not smack on the main drag, so less traffic, but within walking distance of many interesting sight seeing places and restaurants. I was actually a bit unwell one of the days and it was brilliant to be able to stay tuck up in bed and having such a big variety of satellite channels to watch. If you're looking for bang for your buck, then this is the place!

Good clean heated pool (although the temperature did fluctuate). Big balcony. High ceilings in the room, and good big bath. Friendly and helpful staff - when the washing machine broke they let us use the staff one for free. Ability to walk into town or to the beach.

The kitchen was tiny and the freezer so blocked with ice it was hard to fit much in/the top fridge shelf was unusable as constantly covered in water. I defrosted the freezer on the first day and it was much better after that. Not so much that I didn’t like but worth being aware - The place is slightly run down (still functional), for example the cupboard doors had lots of chips on them, the washing machine had broken, at one point the water was off (the plumbers were there before we noticed). It feels like the staff are having to pick up the pieces. Not their fault but there were loud parties in Paihia on the weekends we were staying and we were able to hear the music clearly.

Last minute, and at good price.Lovely, quiet and relaxing. Service was great from start to end. We had a spa bath in our room. Was so warm and comfortable.Other than the little things I enjoyed my time and the owner made us feel so comfortable!! It was a great stay! Would recommend

The bed was a bit hard, and the electric blanket cord was digging in my side, wasn't major at all!. Also the spa bath jets had to be cleaned thoroughly before using them. Was a beautiful bath in end really enjoyed it! The while stay was great just minor things.

The unit was clean and well stocked with bedding, towels, and kitchen supplies (coffee, tea, sugar). We were given a small milk upon check-in, which was very convenient. The staff are friendly and approachable. The kids loved the pool, Dad loved the SkyTv, and Mom loved the laundry that was centrally located. A 1-minute walk to the playground and beach, 2-10 minute walk to restaurants and cafes depending on your flavour. Overall, a great motel that exceeded our expectations!

The beds were okay but may need replacing very shortly as we could feel the springs in places.

That it was big enough for a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children) to have meals at the table and sit to watch tv as well. The rooms were a good size and having a full bathroom with a separate half toliet downstairs was a plus. We were close enough to the pool to enjoy it almost every day there. It was close enough to a beach just had to cross the main road to get there.

When we first walked in it smelt musty and old and went away after a couple of days as long as you didn't open up the draws or hall way cupboard. The main bathroom needs an update and a paint job. We couldn't drink the tap water as it was tasting funny even though they said it was fine to drink. But we did use it for a cuppa and a shower and that was fine. The smoke alarm needed a battery charge it keep on beeping when we were there. Also our bins didn't get empty enough time so we had to do it ourselves and the main bin was by the road for 4days before that got empty too.

Very quiet, clean, excellent shower, and we were given our traditional milk container for tea and coffee. There was a couch in a separate relaxation area with tv, also a twin bed there. The bedroom had two very comfy queen beds. The motel is off of the main sea view busy section, and great for relaxing; we were able to walk to the more commercial area easily. Parking is right outside the door and it felt very safe.

We had trouble finding the proprietor when we arrived and he seemed flustered, but otherwise welcoming.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Nice location and good price for the hotel. The bed was also comfortable. The room was generally clean and in good condition.

The shower needed a good clean. The guests upstairs were up all night (maybe high) and kept talking loudly and driving cars all throughout the night. It was very annoying. A reinforcement of the rules by the owners would have been nice.

Within walking distance to all the local restaurants and bars. The extension cords in both bedrooms was a thoughtful touch. Our room was well serviced, and the Hot chocolate sachets were replenished, which the grandchildren loved. We definitely will stay again.

Apart from good locAtion, super high kudos to staff Ashish .... Has gone beyond to help us in many things..... Our bags were left behind by MalaYsia airlines..he not only offered / shared things ,but will remain in my heart forever ... This guy deserves all the blessing from our end..... Property was good staff were awesome especially housekeeping they were very helpful even with helping me finding good take aways A+ to them ladies even got me a extra chair for the dinner table for my grandson book in for 3 table only had 2 chairs also was able to check out a little later

shower kept flooding looks like it has been like that for a while as the wall had water damage and was flaking off apart from that lovely stay
