comfy room with the option of servicing each day. At one point our personal towels (which looked very similar to the hotels) were picked up in the servicing, but staff were really helpful with locating them and returning promptly which was very appreciated. Kitchenette was obviously small but had a lot of useful things eg toaster/microwave/mini fridge, so we didnt have to eat out every night. The hotel is right next to a supermarket and walking distance from the beach.

The size of the kitchenette means there is no sink in there. A tub is provided with dish washing liquid and a brush so you can use the bathroom tap to clean dishes. My only other suggestion would be about the TV guide- the room book has a page instructing "how to switch from Netflix to normal TV" but as far as we could tell Netflix was not available. Might be worth rewording the guide as it has us confused trying to figure out how to get to Netflix ( it only showed how to go to TV and not the other way)

We rented a 2 bedroom unit. Kitchen is small but functional come 2 hot plates, microwave small fridge. Not much counter space and comes with adequate pots pans and 4 plates, bowls forks knives etc. Nice size living room used the barby a few times and worked good getting a bit worn out but stilled cooked up the food nice. Pool is a nice size and good temperature. Also the Countdown is right beside this place so easy to grab some groceries. About a nice 20 min walk into town and beach only 5 min walk away

A fan in the bedrooms would be nice as no a/c but with windows open and sliding door open could get a cross breeze

Staff were really helpful and accommodating they let us check in early with clear instructions. The room was a little outdated but perfectly clean and welcoming- we were thrilled with the comfy bed and good aircon. The location of the premises is excellent with stunning views of the surrounding area and a nice 15 minute stroll into town for shops, restaurants and activities.

the shower pressure was extremely intense and any lower pressure using the tap handle made the temperature inconsistent but after a while we got used to the intense pressure and it was nice after a hot day but more choice would be good- overall, it's a fabulous motel.

The lady in the office was very helpful. It was great having the disabled bathroom, no steps. Hand rails were great!. The room was cozy enough for the 4 of us, and the beds were very comfy. Also, an available safe in our room.The pool was outside our sliding door. Woolworths was next door, and the room had cooking facilities.A nice big smart TV with sky. Also our parking was next to our room. It was nice and quiet. My mum loved hearing the birds early in the morning. The pool area had 2 big bbqs available.

Maybe the shower chair could have been more sturdy as we weren't able to use it. I didn't read through all of the motels policy. So if bed making wasn't part of room service, then fair enough.

I visited with my three young children and booked a two bedroom unit. We were given number three which was ground floor and opened out onto the pool. It was extremely comfortable and convenient. The sliding door had a top lock so the kids could not just open the door on there own. Overall good value for money, beds comfy had sky tv with movies and sports which never happens and even netflix. Super handy for travelling with the family. We will definitely be returning. Suites 1-3 are on the ground level and worth asking for for easy access to the pool. We played at the beach and park, had fish and chips before heading to the motel. Once we were checked in and settled we walked around to countdown to get supplies. Easy as!

The bedding was so clean and well kept. Every thing was up to our expectation.. Loved staying. Wish to come back again only if the spa it fixed.

We booked the rooms and it was said that tgere was spa in tge room .Yes it was there but not working .When we asked the lady in office she said out of order. Thats not right. We were really upset. Because of the spa we booked nd we were let down. Every thng was ok except for spa.

Our apartment was spacious, clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location was great and the pool and outdoor area were very good.

The only thing was the super noisy bathroom fan which turned on with the light and the shower was very loud.

Great location for Waitangi and Paihia. Good layout for a family of 4. Clean, comfy accommodation. Handy to have Woolworths next door. Pool - although we didn’t get to use it as the weather was awful during our stay.

Early morning noise from Woolworths deliveries…. Bring some earplugs!

A good sized room with a comfortable bed and a small area to make toast and prepare breakfast and a small fridge. The pool looked nice but unfortunately the weather was too cold to use it. There was a decent sized supermarket next door. It was a 15/20 minute walk from the bars and restaurants, and boat trips around the Bay of Islands.

There was no hand shower. The spa bath did not work.

Check in was easy. Room was nice and comfortable. TV etc easy to operate. Pool was clean and well maintained (we swam both days). Bed very comfortable. Microwave & jug etc all provided plus a good selection of tea & coffee (even provided a coffee plunger (awesome!). Good information manual in the room.

No complaints from us!
