A good sized room with a comfortable bed and a small area to make toast and prepare breakfast and a small fridge. The pool looked nice but unfortunately the weather was too cold to use it. There was a decent sized supermarket next door. It was a 15/20 minute walk from the bars and restaurants, and boat trips around the Bay of Islands.

There was no hand shower. The spa bath did not work.

Check in was easy. Room was nice and comfortable. TV etc easy to operate. Pool was clean and well maintained (we swam both days). Bed very comfortable. Microwave & jug etc all provided plus a good selection of tea & coffee (even provided a coffee plunger (awesome!). Good information manual in the room.

Loved the hospitality of the Maori family that chekd us in. The place was spacious and so clean smelling. Loved evrythng about it. So child friendly and excellent location ie gas station countdown, town,food places,beach,park,big field fo kds to let off energy. Will be my number one go to over all the other places there all-day .thankyou for a pleasurable experience with you all.

That I didn't know about this place before I booked in at the other motel I booked.

The rooms were just what we needed, and it was lovely to come back to them freshened each day. Everything was comfortable, and the TV set up was probably the best I've seen in a motel before.

Nothing really, but I did try to check something at the office a couple of times, and it didn't seem to be manned. Maybe I just timed it badly though. The key pick up process was easy to follow.

Great location - supermarket right next door. Friendly staff. Clean tidy well maintained.

Little things only. A few more kitchen bits and bobs. e.g. a couple of bowls for salads / cooking. There were only four TINY drinking glasses. Some decent size glasses for fruit juice, maybe some wine glasses. The bed was too soft (for my liking) also shower over the bath could be a challenge to get in to.

Shower a complete nightmare to get on right temp.Spa bath out of order.Having a can opener would be a great addition to the kitchen draw.The fire alarm had been removed.Being able to talk to reception in the morning would have been great.

Location: just a walkable distance to the beach and very next to count down and fuel station. Spacious rooms and beds with poolside view. Spacious couch, big TV and fridge are included in the package. It has everything for a family to live for weeks

They didn't clean the room on second day

Hotel was clean and well maintained, rooms were as described with comfortable warm beds, instructions for late checkin (we arrived at 3am) were clear and easy to follow, plenty of parking available meters from room.

The staff did forget to provide us with towels, but it in no way detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay and they were quite apologetic the next morning.

It had everything we needed, super comfyy n private n right next.2 countdown, off the main drag so was nice and peaceful xo lovelyy stay, we will be back xoxox

Lol we're lazyy n unfit so moaned 2 eachoyher about how hard the stairs were hahah we just need to get fit n stop moaning hahah

Loved our stay here, the bed, the space, the room, it really has everything you need, as if you haven't left your home. At arrival the host did exceptionally well in catering to our needs, two of our guests had disabilities. Online we booked downstairs but it was already full.

At the time the booking online through your website said a 2 bedroom & downstairs was available. But it actual fact it wasn't. This was NOT the Motels issue it was YOU, booking.com.
