Hand location to CBD, hospitals, restaurants, cafes, shops. Had little kitchenette with microwave, fridge, jug and toaster. Very clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Good pressure in walk in shower. Room compendium had good information about places to eat and how close they were. Free wifi. Extremely quiet, which we loved. Would stay here again should the need ever arise and will recommend to family and friends.

Hand towel rail bit low. Could be shorter and moved up or towel ring installed. Bathroom could be updated. Gardens need a tidy up.

I was thoroughly impressed with our stay at Alpha Motor Inn. The room was fantastic - spotlessly clean, with particular attention to detail in the kitchen, which was immaculate. The space was generous and warm, providing a cozy refuge from the cold weather. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The receptionist was notably knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival, which added a special touch to our stay. The parking facilities were also convenient and well-managed.

Our stay at Alpha Motor Inn was excellent overall. The only potential inconvenience might be the access to the upstairs rooms, as they are only accessible by stairs, which could be challenging for guests with mobility issues. Aside from that, everything was fantastic, and it is clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the property.

Perfect stay at Alpha Inn for our family, we stayed in the Taranaki room (pretty sure that was the name) and the Inn staff beat our expectations. Room was so clean and comfy, the guidelines and policies were easy to follow. Staff were friendly with daily check ins and room refreshers (new towels, mini rubbish removal). Great location, 5 minute drive from the main centre. Our check in and check out we’re easy for our first family motel stay. Loved it!!!! Oh and there’s a barber right near the entrance so location was convenient.

Only thing is we could hear the slight footsteps of people walking above our room but that’s understandable.

The room we booked was perfect for the weekend while attending a major sporting event where we needed a comfortable setting whilst not competing, reasonably quiet and handy location to the event and the city eateries. The room was clean and tidy, kitchenette facility and required items such as cutlery, plates cups etc including microwave, toaster and jug all excellent. The bathroom was excellent with a spacious shower with adjustable shower head. The bed was very comfortable. Check in process was smooth and simple, Excellent value for money.

Nothing to mention here whatsoever.

Great location, don’t have to hear the noise from town but also a few minutes walk away, friendly staff, definitely worth what you pay, plenty of car parking, gave us a free late check out which was awesome, beds comfy, clean facilities, would recommend and would stay again!

Walls were a little thin, so could hear noise easily but nothing you wouldn’t expect when you’re so close to one another.

The location. And everything one needs.

Hot water, early morning Saturday 7am there was no hot water. As we left at 8am Washing my hands the hot water came on. I let it run for a while at 7am but had no hot water. But notice Sunday at 6am no hot water but 7am we had hot water. And the tv was very slow in working, and internet was slow. Only one person could use it.

Only downside were the guests in the hotel next door. The proprietor of this hotel didn't have any control over that. Car rally was firing up their noisy engines until late at night. Did not look like the manager lived in the hotel to experience this first hand. Drove past once as did not spot the sign first time

This property was a great find and we were lucky to snag last minute availability over a very busy time. Location is great, with a cafe just a few steps away from our room, Supermarket & Restaurants are also just a few minutes walk away. Our Room This and vicinity were very nice and tidy & Our rooms were serviced daily. Staff were fantastic!

We did stay for 4 nights so the only downfall was there was no laundry space access to us on the premesis, but easily fixed with a short trip to a laundromat close by. Thank you for a great stay!

I liked that it was clean, Comfortable. Had all the basics you get at most places. I felt like i got value for $$ I paid. Being in our senior years we were happy we had a room on the groundfloor.

We arrived just as reception was closing for the day. We had not worked out what to do if there was no one at reception. Leaving a key out or letting us know what number was our room would have been helpful

Basic and somewhat dated but clean, comfortable and as shown in photos. Reasonable value and quiet area to stay while still being close to centre of town.

No kitchen sink. Dishes could be washed in tub using water from bathroom or left for cleaning services so not a major issue but would have preferred a kitchen sink.
