The quiet location of this motel is perfect for those wishing to access the Manawatu River, Parkrun, Botanic Gardens and the Lido. It is also close enough to be convenient to both the Square and the University. Proprietors, Neil and Amber, who have only been there a short time, are welcoming and enthusiastic. A new initiative was barista coffee to order, delivered to the door. The room was very clean, the shower was excellent, as was the WIFI

The accommodation would benefit from a general makeover as some fixtures and furnishings were looking a little tired and well worn. I assume this will be on the agenda for the new owners.

Beds were super comfortable. Rooms were nice and clean, cleaning staff were really friendly

Only thing was the reception was not open the hours it stated in the book in the room. Bit annoying when early in the morning there was no extra toilet paper in the bathroom. And wanting to use the laundry (which is locked) in the evening, but the reception had closed early.

The staff are so lovely and even if you say you only need a top up of coffee nothing else the staff will still give your room a service daily with fresh towels etc. If you wash your own dishes you will come back to your room with them put away just amazing all round at the Comfort Inn Kauri Court. Definitely recommend to stay kiwi owned and operated which is a rear find these days.

We felt well looked after by our hosts who made every effort to assist us. I needed an accessible room which was not quite fully accessible unfortunately, however with some thoughts and ideas from us I am sure there will be some improvements. Be sure to call them directly and they will help where they can to meet your needs. I have to say the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable.,

Cleanliness

location was fantastic, apart from the road noise the place was great. Lady on the desk was friendly, room was spectacularly clean. Shower was outstanding and the beds were ok. Only first world issue was no Sky or streaming tv but as I said, a first world issue.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom unit which was very spacious. The beds were super comfortable. Having cooking facilities, washing machine, clothes dryer, dishwasher are definates when traveling with a family.

This motel was great, my suggestions here are merely suggestions. It would be good if there were more chairs so family can dine together. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be great too.

The location of this motel was just what I wanted, close to sports facilities and the Manawatu River. The studio was spacious, comfy and spotless. The kitchen facilities were comprehensive. The bathroom was large with an powerful, hot shower, and I appreciated the wall mounted, refillable toiletries. The bed was large and comfy and there were individual reading lights for the single bed, both sides of the main bed and the seating. The wifi was excellent and there was a bench outside for soaking up the sun.

There was no milk provided on arrival. I would have liked some herbal tea bags and there didn't appear to be any recycling facilities.

Large kitchen in our 3 bedroom apartment. Tvs in each bedroom meant we had our own space to chill out. Room had modern appliances. Sound proof doors between bedrooms and main living space was an added bonus!

A slightly larger chopping board would have been helpful in the kitchen when preparing food for 6.

Really great host - very friendly and made us feel welcome. Room was comfortable and clean. Absolutely enjoyed using the shower as you don't find many places with high water pressure :) The location, price and accommodation was good for us and being able to check-in early was a bonus. Thanks :)

really quiet, very clean

The front doors don’t shut properly and need to be slammed. Every time someone came in or out we had to all slam the doors multiple times to get them to shut and be able to lock them. this applied at each unit 14,15,16,17 - unfortunately this was often early morning or late night so it wasn’t ideal for the neighbouring unit. owner also just walked in one morning when we were having coffee …. no real apology - very odd !
