Located just opposite the lake, which is great! Bathroom and furniture look very new, pretty comfortable facilities. The owners work hard and keep the motel very clean and it's really appreciated.

Just one tiny shampoo and shower gel for a big family for 2 days was ridiculous. I would recommend to make the family room available for a family of 3 maximum. Not enough space there, you know. You can get more negative reviews from clients when you sell it as a room for 4. We were ready for a small room but it can be a bad surprise for someone. Good luck in your business anyway) Many thanks, Natalia.

The suite was very spacious, and we liked having a separate bedroom. Kitchen area was well supplied with all we needed. Easy check in. Probably 10-12 minute walk into the lovely town of Te Anau. Can be lakeside in 2-3 minutes.

The ‘patio’ was two chairs on the driveway and not sure it was fair to call it a patio. Odd to never see anyone but had all our communication through text or IM. Seems like many hotels in NZ are having a hard time finding staff.

The outside looks dated but the rooms inside have had a beautiful upgrade with everything new and modern looking. The shower was HUGE and had an amazing showerhead! The beds were comfy and 2 out of 3 beds had electric blankets on them. The heat pump was a big help in this cold weather. The kitchenette was small but seemed to work well. The only thing is we had to have the door open (and it was a super cold day) while frying as it kept setting off the smoke alarm.

It would have been good if the 3rd bed had an electric blanket on it. None of the duvets on any of the beds have covers on them and we found hair from other people all over these... managers, please make sure duvet covers are being put on the duvets as this is so unsanitary!

The room was extremely well decorated & comfortable with all the required facilities including good kitchen area with microwave only for cooking but everything else exceptional including plates & cutlery & buffet bar seating. Comfortable easy chairs. Comfortable bed & very good shower & bathroom. Friendly staff when located but they are short of staff & have difficulty recruiting as is common in NZ. It was so good we stayed an extra night.

No reception staff on site until the morning but good directions about how to contact someone if required & they were immediately available & helpful over the phone.

We stayed in room 1 and found it to be modernised and clean, a short walk to everything in the town. Two of us but it can sleep 4 if you don’t mind those in the lounge accessing the bathroom via the main bedroom. No stovetop but had an electric hot plate. Overall we had a comfortable stay.

No staff on-site due to general service labour shortages but that didn’t impact us and they were very responsive when we messaged.

Great location. I deliberately booked the room with a balcony overlooking the lake and have to say it was worth it for that view and for the location. Considering how hard it is to get accomadation in Te Anau, this is a decent option.

The property is quite old but clean and comfortable. I was a solo traveller is a ‘family’ room. I think it would be quite cramped for more than 2 people.

Easy to find and very centrally located to the town centre & 2 mins walk form the gorgeous lake. On check in an envelope on reception door a nice printed letter told us room 2 door would be open keys in unit. Went there, parked up, unpacked car, door not open, back to reception & luckily a lady was there (they had said reception closed during our stay) our room was infact room 4. Anyway, that was sorted. We had a very nice stay, lovely comfy bed, great shower, super clean room, and friendly staff. Very small TV and too far away from chairs and too high on wall, we had to move chairs and table closer but lay out of room doesn't allow to go too close. We used it as a base to go to Milford Sound 2 adults stayed 2 nights in January 2023

TV We go out & about all day, TV is what we do in the evening, so it's important to us. It had Netflix, but the signal kept dropping out, so the film had to be re started 🙄😒

Location to Lake Te Anau and the TrackNet bus. Walking distance to downtown.

Parking for guests was really an alley. We did not rent a car for several reasons but mostly they drive on the opposite side of the street then the USA.

Motel unit had been recently refurbished. It was ground level with parking adjacent. Clean. Bed comfortable. Two rooms, bedroom & compact open plan kitchen & living. Very nice modern bathroom with storage. Very rarely get storage.

This unit had two additional single beds in the living area. One would have been fine however two made the space with two armchairs very tight.

Was near the lake and an easy walk to pick up point for Milford Sound tour. Clean and comfortable. We were able to change our nights when we contacted them a few days ahead.

Initially booked room with lake view which unfortunately wasn't available due to the change of dates, but think I was still charged the slightly higher rate. We didn't see any staff (due to staff shortages apparently). Their were 3 of us, but bathroom access was through bedroom, which wasn't ideal.
