In fact, I stayed in Tuscany on Thames for 3 weeks - that is how much I enjoyed this little gem. My apartment had a wonderful, uninterrupted view over the ranges. Every morning, my first thing after waking up was to watch the sunrise and at night - the glorious sunsets. The rooms were clean and stylish. I had everything I needed - a lovely kitchenette with a stove, a very comfortable bed in a very quiet bedroom, sofa and sky in the living room and an outdoor area. The big spa bath was a bonus. Ample and convenient parking and great location, just a few minutes drive to the centre. Carole, the host, and the maintenance staff were always kind, friendly and approachable. Carol would go miles away to accommodate the guests' needs. I highly recommend Tuscany on Thames to every discerning traveler. You won't be disappointed.

Professional and friendly on arrival. Room was spacious and clean. Alot of power points always a bonus. Good supply of basic refreshments. Great to have soap, shampoo included in room. AC added bonus as nights were very hot. Loving the eco friendly approach with a glass milk on offer, recycle rubbish and filtered water to the motel. My hubby and I stayed 3 nights spent Xmas there and had a well earned rest reason for going on holiday.

Step up from parking area to covered way for disabled person. Recommend a ramp type for disabled people.

My wife has mobility issues and was unable to get into the spa bath to have a shower. I understand there are 2 units with a walk-in shower, next time I will ask for one of those

I like a medium bed as preference the one I slept in was harder than Im used to, but firm is good. I travel with my daughter quite often and this would be amongst the best motels we have stayed in.

We loved the cleanliness and modern look of the unit. Also the facilities were all there e.g. microwave, fridge, toaster etc. We noted that the owner is environmentally friendly In the products she stocks up with and really pays attention to the details even down to the complimentary card which was handmade. Really appreciated everything.

Located close to a main road so traffic was a little noisy as a result.

Manager very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for her and provided some helpful advice regarding future bookings.

Bathroom- In the unit in which we stayed, the shower is located within the high sided spa bath so becomes an issue for those with mobility limitations. We normally question the shower access when booking but neglected to do so this time but it's a point to consider in similar circumstances.

Where do you start this place was amazing. If you are looking for accommodation to treat yourself, a base for investingating Thames and the surrounding areas this is your place. It is close to the Hauraki Rail Trail and the gateway to your own discoveries. My room was a King studio, tastefully decorated, everything was thought of like, heat pump instructions,whisper windows for noise,double door lock for security which is fantastic when you are traveling on your own. The welcome when booking in was very helpful and informative. When you find fantastic accommodation like this it will be a place that you will always revisit.

Parking was available but my vehicle was too big for the park, a tight squeeze. A smaller vehicle no problem.

Enjoyed our stay even though it was short. Really lovely place and close to everything. Bed was comfortable and having air con was a bonus. Will definitely stay again.
