The Motel is minutes walk from the shops and eateries. We were there to do a little bit of cycling and found we could cycle from motel up to Waikino Train Station and back. Later we drove back to the old Tavern just before the station, well worth a visit. The Gin tastings were amazing, as was the food, what a treat! Our rooms had great showers, I was grateful that volumes on TV’s were kept at decent level and rooms were lovely and quiet. The beds are firm, however the size was great being a super king and the pillows were good quality too.

Ideally located at the edge of town, a two-minute walk from the bike rental shop and next to the Paeroa start of the Hauraki rail trail. The king-size bed was super-comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped — even with treats like hot chocolate and biscuits, as well as excellent coffee and an array of teas and tisanes. The shower is a 10, such great pressure it was hard to get out. The staff are friendly and helpful. Oh, did I mention, the municipal pool is right next door and open for lane-swimming from 6 am to 9 am. Location, location, location! 10 on 10.

Perfect location for cyclists , next to the Hauraki Rail Trail, with secure bicycle storage on site. Around the corner of cafés, restaurants and shops. Modern, clean & comfortable room. Friendly staff. Leaving the car long before check-in to go cycling as well as leaving the car after check-out for more cycling was not a problem either. Will happily come back again.

Bicycle storage a little limited (max. 4) for e-bikes that can’t be suspended from hooks on the wall.

A classic motel room with limited facilities but very well done. It was warm cosy and adequate for our needs. WE were out all day and only used it for bed and breakfast. The staff were informative and cheerful. The location was spot on for what we wanted to do in the area.There were restaurants on the doorstep. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Parking a great big truck outside the door made the room dark. Could have done with a tray and dish rack for washing up as the crockery is delicate which was a joy as it was not the usual thick heavy pots,

This is a lovely new motel situated just behind the shops in the centre of town, but very quiet. It is in excellent condition. The facilities are great, the shower has high pressure and unlimited hot water (if one needed a lot). Infinity gas seems to be shared by only two units, which is great.

This is personal taste, but we found the bed a bit hard for us, and the reason we gave a 9 rather than 10. Still, a very good motel.

The room was clean, warm and convenient. I did appreciate the room clean while we were out. Didn't realise it was inclusive of the price so was really good value for money. Great room to accommodate my family and I.

Just a suggestion, maybe have a smokers area with chairs etc? Somewhere discreet. I don't smoke, but noticed there wasn't a place for those that do. Parking area was a bit small too but still enough room for all our vehicles so ok.

The location was excellent, walking distance to eateries and supermarket. Very quiet and comfortable stay.

Was told we got the disabled unit when I checked in in person even though I didn't select this option during booking. Whilst this was OK,, I would have preferred a regular room. Overall it was lovely thank you. We would come back and stay in the future.

The room was clean and was stocked with plenty of things to drink, including milk in the refrigerator for my coffee in the morning

The spiders… I’ve never stayed any place where they didn’t have screens on their window so this was something I wasn’t used to, but didn’t really cause any issues. I just don’t like spiders.🤣

I can’t recommend this place highly enough! There is NOTHING you can fault! From the minute you hit the tip of the entry point you feel so clean, comfortable and impressed! The parking area is spacious, the grounds are impeccable, extremely modern. Beautiful owner who greats you, makes you feel so welcome and like you are at home. You enter your room and immediately hit with a fresh new build smell and surrounding. Rooms are so clean, spacious! And let me tell you it has EVERYTHING and MORE! A large desk area with power points level with the desk so you don’t need to plug in your iPad under the desk! Spacious wardrobe the fits everything inside, extra blanket, heatpump, well lit room with so many options to go from bright to dim, comfortable bed that feels like it’s never been slept in, kitchen! WOW! Where do I start I don’t think it’s ever been used. Modern appliances, decent size fridge and people!!!! There are scissors! Like how many places I’ve been to and needed to cut tags and had to resort to using a knife! The bathroom! So spacious! Has more than 1-2 towels even when you are staying just one night! Amazing water pressure. Again another space that looks like it’s never been used! That’s how Immaculate this place is! Look I can’t rate this place high enough! It’s a Home away from home! I am an extremely OCD person and I am ashamed at myself the standard is set so high even the skirtings are done. The price should be much more for what you are provided! It’s a quiet place also I have a newborn and she slept better here then at home! I am coming back!

My only disappointment is having to leave!!!

Lively motel , in paediatric high street. Very clean and freshly decorated. Good size room and large bed. Parking right outside room. Close the high street for bars and eating places. (Nothing open much after 8pm though) Friendly reception. Decent powerful shower, lots of hot water. Up the road , short drive to Gorge walks etc
