The room and view were great. There is no mold, as indicated in other reviews which I was thankful for. For the price, I wish they had taken the time to clean the hallway carpets and walls. There were a lot of stains and food products on the walls. The location is good for all our adventures. They even have a bus out front that takes you to the airport for a fee which was quite nice. Plus, the bus offers a discount with proof of stay at the hotel.

When we arrived, we were told they were having issues with their system. That's all cool and gravy, I get it. However, it seems like a major issue because upon checkout three nights later their system was down again and there was no way we could get an invoice prior to getting on the bus to the airport so we had to pay full price.

The location was great near the main streets and close to tram stops. Staff checking in are efficient which is good but are a little cold/ abrupt. The pool and gym facilities are nice. I would suggest adding a single narrow lane for swimmers along the length of the pool, this would be helpful to better accommodate all pool users. As expected the pool is popular with children who enjoy dive bombing into the pool. If a lane was added it would allow people to swim safely while the children could enjoy the rest of the pool area to jump in and play. The rooms are spacious for a city hotel and the sky bar has great views of the city and the bar staff are very nice and friendly. The beds are super comfortable!

As mentioned above it was difficult to use the pool for swimming as there always seemed to be children dive booming, running and pushing each other under the water etc at various times I visited the pool area. A narrow lane designated for swimmers would help.

Location: Excellent. Very close to the Central Station (4 stops on the tram No 19, The tram stops near the hotel). Also 400 meters walk from the Hop-on-Hop-off busses and 300 meters walk from the Royal Palace. Also quite close to the National Gallery (400-500m) and walking distance (1,2 km) from the City Hall and fjord cruises. Staff: Very polite and helpful. Provided with lot of useful information. Room: We had a room with a nice view on the city. The room was a spatial one. Everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast: Superb. Gym and swimming pool and sauna: Excellent.

Location: Two Radisson Blue hotels are located quite close to one another. The Radisson Blue Plaza hotel is located near the Oslo Central Station and Radisson Blue Scandinavia hotel a little bit further from it. This caused a problem, as we first went to the wrong hotel and had to take a taxi from there to Radisson Blue Scandinavia.

Breakfast with wide choice of buffet and excellent quality of food and drinks. Large rooms with a nice view of the city of Oslo. Fairly large and clean bathrooms with large and small towels, slippers and bathrobes. Hotel and room furnishings very well done. Staff was always professional, smiling and helpful despite the amount of people at check-ins.

Beds were too soft and unstable, with two pillows so soft they were practically useless unless you folded them on themselves. I think the hotel should also start accepting other methods of payment besides direct debit from a card on site.

The room was nice and clean. The gym, pool and the restaurant were very good good. And the hotel is in a good location.

We arrived in the morning several hours before the check in time and let the staff know that we would appreciate it if the room could be available earlier than the usual check in time. Even after waiting for several hours later the room was not ready. It was not even ready at the promised check in time. The front desk staff did not seem to care at all. They told us to just sit in the lobby and wait and they will let us know when he room is ready. It was only after checking several times and asking to see the manager that the staff made any effort at all to find out what was happening. This made the entire experience extremely unpleasant especially after arriving after a long trip and with two small children.

The Hotel was very well located, there were restaurants in the adjacent road, and the Royal Palace was nearby. It was a pleasant walk to the park and the main Road: Kristian IV Gate. The Breakfast room was enormous, with many different sections, so there was a huge selection to choose from. The room itself had plenty of light, and there was a good atmosphere. The freshly made coffee from the machines was very good.

We booked a Superior room that included among other things, a coffee machine. When I tried to use it, there were no coffee pods! On my way down to Reception, I saw the Cleaning lady, who called reception who said they were out of them. Luckily, another guest had some he didn't need.

Good quality for the money, the room was quite big and comfortable. We kindly asked the highest floor and we got 25 th floor with a fantastic view of the city! It was really fascinating. Excellent breakfast, kind staff.

when my friend was checking out we were about to be charged extra 1000€ for the third person who according to their words lived with us. The reception didn’t give any explanation and once we only showed all evidence that room was for two and we were two, after waiting of 1 hour they managed to fix the problem. It was quite nervous since we had a train tickets and had to wait long to check out. The only sorry for more than 1 hour waiting was bottle of water(

pool, sauna and rooftop bar

there are no rules or a security person who ask people to follow them in the pool and sauna. Mama’s were bringing 10years old boy to ladies sauna w/o even asking if that bother to the ladies aready inside. Also people were really unrespective by opening sauna door and leaving it like that while preparing to enter or taking a shower… that also bother people already inside. There were some kids under NO supervision in the pool who were causing uncomfortable situations. 2days out of 4 the towels in the pool were over the entire afternoon + people from gym leaving gym door’s open making the ride from pool to sauna uncomfortably cold.

The bar on the penultimate floor had a fantastic view and my room on the top floor also had a good view. The desk was sizable and I could work from there comfortably.

My check-in at 9pm was delayed due to a lack of available rooms. There was a lack of clean rooms and I was asked to wait at the side. In the meantime, three rooms were given to other people including my colleague. I went for a late dinner and finally got a room at 11pm. The breakfast on the second morning of my stay seemed like it was leftovers from the first day and should have been better.

Stayed at the hotel for 1 night, I chose the hotel based on reviews on Booking. The main criterion of choice was convenient location, excellent service and availability of good breakfast in the price. Upon check-in, the hotel incredibly surprised us with a nice surprise on the occasion of our wedding anniversary - we were given a superior room on the upper floor with a stunning view of the city! It was incredible! A huge advantage of the hotel is the swimming pool and sauna, which are included in the price. If I am in Oslo again I will definitely return to this hotel.
