The selection at breakfast was above our expectation. They started the service at 630am which allowed us 1hour to enjoy the spread before leaving the hotel to catch our train at 825am. Special thank to the gentleman who made coffee for us using their complicated looking machine. The room may be small but adequate for the both of us. The room was clean and comfortable. The place was easy to get to from the airport, take the flytoget train to the opera theatre station. If the flytoget train only stops at the central station, just go to platform 2 or 3 to get on another train. We took the tram which is just besides the hotel to get to the central station in the morning. It is walkable of 30mins, but in winter, I will not recommend pulling the luggage for that long.

The hotel was in a great location, very easily accessible, near tram stops and only a 5 minute walk from the national theatre train station which you can get the train from the airport to. The hotel has a great breakfast with lots of different options to match different dietary needs. The room was clean, had a hair dryer, wardrobe and iron with basic layout. It felt really safe in the area too. Check in and check out was really quick and easy.

The hotel room was pretty basic for the price although I understand this may just be the price of hotels in Oslo.

Good breakfast (smoothies, ginger shot very appreciated), clean room, good location, free coffee at the reception and some tea in the room. Staff were kind and helpful.

It is not a real 4* hotel. No minibar, no slippers, small rooms, no toiletries (a soap only, no cream etc), the price is quite excessive for what you get. Coffee at the breakfast should be changed, it tasted horrible…

Location is perfect for exploring Oslo. Staff were superb. Would definitely stay again next time we're in Oslo. The water / tea / coffee in reception was great but the breakfasts were the best we had in Norway - so much choice and great quality.

With alcohol being extortionately expensive, the waiter (just one) should not be sniffy when we order water with our meal

Looks very nice from the outside and on the inside it is modern with nice character. The rooms are spacious and comfy with everything you need.

Nothing with the property although after booking the hotel contacted me that with my travel plans (I told them as it was a 1am check in so wanted to confirm it was ok) they said I needed to book another day for that night. I assumed they were right however when I turned up they said they were expecting the day before, so originally I did book it right. However there was no malicious intent and our room was still available for us when we got there. Other than this the stay was great

The staff was extremely helpful, happy and supportive. Shout out to Naved and Aditya who did not let us miss home and cared for us in every which way. The breakfast was super delicious, loved the smoothies, yum!

I kept the towels on the rails, like I was asked to if I did not want them washed but they were changed nevertheless. Maybe be clear with directions, especially for guests who are there for a short stay and do not want to hurt the environment with too many sheet/towel changes.

The hotel was in a very good location and easy to get to from the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and we also had a kettle in our room. We had breakfast included in our stay and it was excellent with plenty to choose from. We also liked being able to refill our water bottles and also help ourselves to free tea and coffee located near reception.

The breakfast was very good. Variety was ok, but the quality was high. Area was quiet and within walking distance to a lot of sights. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooms, even though they come with basic amenities, are very well maintained and clean. Attention to detail is obvious. I especially liked the questionnaire that asks about feedback on the overall maintenance of the room. I believe that is why there were no usual issues like I've seen in hotels of a higher price point. No scuff marks on the walls from luggage, nothing broken chipped or stained.

If travelling during summer, keep in mind that the sun will be out for the better part of 24 hours. The black out curtains still leave slivers of light to pass which can hamper sleep if you are used to sleeping in complete darkness.

We came at the hotel after a night train from Bergen to bring our luggage. The emails from the Hotel (by themselves) in advance was already written that we should contact the hotel if they have a room ready for earlier check-in. We didn't expect to get our room already at 7.30!!! in the morning! We were quite dead from the trip and were therefore sooooo happy that the lady at the front desk helped us out!! It was overall very good experience!! Would like to thank her again for the help :)

Staff was fantastic, the breakfast at the hotel was amazing quality, and the location is absolutely perfect being right next to the Royal Palace and 5 minutes walk from the National Theatre metro which has access to every line

I was provided with two small duvets for a double bed rather than a full size duvet. Not sure why, but I kept forgetting to ask for a full size so partially my own fault. Also, the tram runs right outside the hotel, which can be heard throughout the night (not enough to prevent going to sleep though)
