The hotel is located in a very central location, very convenient to walk around the city but also close to many tram and bus stations. The rooms are average sized, they have iron and ironing board and rack to hang the clothes. At the reception you can find fountains to fill your bottle with water, as well as coffee, which was very much appreciated. The breakfast was nice and with great variety.

The temperature in the room was quite low and I was not able to increase it myself (had to ask the reception to increase it for me a couple of degrees). Also, the breakfast, even though it was nice and tasty, it was also very crowded, especially during the weekend, and it was very difficult to find a table. We tried several different time slots (around 08:30 and the next day around 10:00) to see what is best, but it was almost no difference.

We were a family of two adults and two children (9&10 ) traveling. The front desk staff were all so nice and super helpful. Having to check out really early (0530) the nice lady at the desk put together to-go breakfast boxes for us since we were missing breakfast. The free breakfast was GREAT! The location was good within walking distance to restaurants and a small market. Easy walking distance to a bus stop and also the waterfront for ferries. Great value.

Our family room only had a window to an interior hallway and the room was slightly stuffy and needed some air flow. (The great front desk staff got us a fan to help though!)

The location and breakfast food offerings were great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were OK.

On the weekend, it was too crowded during breakfast. The hotel opened another room two days later (they should have done it immediately, considering the number of guests). Make sure to request a room that is not connected to another one. We had a room connected to another with double-locked doors, yet we could still hear the TV from the other room at 4 a.m.

The location is excellent, the breakfast absolutely superb, one of the best in my recent travels, and the staff is nice and friendly.

The unpleasant smell of mould in corridors (at least on the 6th floor), and room cleaning was superficial. I had s small balcony that was cleaned neither before I took the room nor over the 4 days (with birds' droppings and dirt). I asked for a simple chair for the balcony, but the staff did not care about it (so the balcony was practically useless). My single room was so tiny that I had difficulty getting around the bed. There were no drawers nor closets for clothing (!!). The toiletries did not even include tissues. The sauna was tiny and lacked privacy as it is part of the fitness room; there is no cooling space after taking a sauna.

The room is small but quite comfortable with the nice view on the street. Special thanks from me for the little shelf in the shower for toiletries. For some reasons, it's missing in many hotels, so I appreciate when it's available. The staff was friendly. Breakfast is rather good, there are many options. A bit crowdy, maybe, but we did come closer to the end of breakfast time. Location of the hotel is great, it takes around 15 minutes to walk to Oslo Opera house, but at the same time area around hotel is quiet and allows good night's sleep.

Water is splashing from under shower door - not a big deal, but it makes bathroom floor wet eventually.

Disappointed was unable to buy a drink at the Bar 8 p.m , sign on Bar said Bartender would be back shortly. waited about 10 mins,no bartender. so went to reception to be told by 1 of the 3 people there that the bar was closed . As I went back to my Wife in the bar ,1 of the 3 from Reception came in and removed the sign from the bar, and went back Reception , and completed showing her dance moves to the other 2 staff ? I believe the Hotel has missed an opportunity for more business as the Hotel was full ( at least 2 coach loads of overnighters) and plenty of customers .We went to a local Bar.

The hotel facilities are well structured and the breakfast is insanely amazing. The room was compact but comfortable and the balcony was a major extra. The bathroom is very well equipped and the staff was friendly. The location is not the most central, but easily accessible by a 5-10 minute walk to and from everywhere.

There are no mini-fridges in the rooms and it can be a little bit small for a bigger person walking around. There’s also an unnecessary chair in the room that takes a bit of walking space.

Breakfast was plentiful but NO ORANGE JUICE just a mix of orange/Carrott or apple. That really disappointed me Also very crowded around coffee machine. Suggest you have 2 sets of coffee machines at either end of room

We enjoyed the breakfast which was exceptional and the location was super central. Staff were friendly.

The room was quite small and there were no hot drink making facilities in the room. The lack of cupboard space was a bit annoying so clothes had to be left on the sofa and table. Unfortunately the panel to the right of the door fell off striking my mother but thankfully she was not hurt. It was fixed rapidly. It was disappointing that there was no herring at breakfast.

Close to everything and good rooms. A very nice guy with dark hair and dark beard working at the reception. Professional and friendly, real service minded!

A rude guy with short hair almost bald, hispanic looking who worked at the reception and in the bar. He seemed to be a manager of some sort. He should change jobs and not work in service.
