Good sized room and bathroom, I like the more old-fashioned style of the hotel rather than the typical 'chain' hotels of today. Very impressed with the breakfast spread! Staff very helpful in explaining the online intricacies of the local bus services. Very close to the inbound stop for the airport bus, and the outbound bus stop is right outside the door (and goes every 15 mins). Also very grateful for staff responding rapidly to me when SAS arbitrarily cancelled my arriving flight to Trondheim late in the evening and hence I could not arrive until the next morning. They provide afternoon tea and waffles :)

I'm perfectly happy with the stay. My only tiny comment is that the lift is a bit historic and unpredictable!

Absolutely incredible service and apartments, and I'd I come back to Trondheim, I'll definitely stay there again. Reception was very friendly and helpful, even make small notes on city maps what should we definitely see due short staying in Trondheim. Free waffles at the evening, tea and coffee, very tasty breakfast with a lot of different food, comfy beds and super view from the window of our room. Also we were offered to keep baggage after checkout. Thank you Chesterfield hotel.

Maybe you think about changing shower curtains to doors?)

The staff in this hotel were so helpful! They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay in Trondheim. The location was great (close to town and the station). The rooms themselves were large and had everything you needed, if a little dated. Breakfast had lots of hot and cold options with well-labelled gluten-free options. They had waffles every evening between 5 and 7 for the guests and tea and coffee available in reception throughout the day.

We stayed in a family room the first night and this had a limited view (although this was pointed out at booking). The rooms higher up had a great view of the harbour and mountains

Breakfast was lovely! A great variety and delicious food. The interior was cosy and welcoming, and the stuff incredibly friendly. The location was superb to someone traveling alone and not wanting to walk too long distances, especially at night.

Sound isolation wasn't the best and there were some crumbs and dust in the cabinets. The skylights would've been splendid had they been clean. Some of the foods could've used labels, as in what they are and allergens.

It was a lovely, large room. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and very handy to town. We really enjoyed our stay there and would return any time.

Nothing to do with the hotel but the parking is pay parking 8 til 8 except Sunday. We parked on the road on Sunday but had to start paying from 8am Monday. Nothing is open, there is no traffic and empty parks everywhere but we have to pay from 8am, and even though there is no traffic, hundreds of empty parks and nothing open we have to keep paying til,8pm. That’s my gripe at the council. I recognise the hotel can do nothing about it.

Very friendly and helpful front-desk staff. Free breakfast with hot and cold selections. My room was very clean. Located very close to the train station. My bathroom was very roomy (especially relative to the tightness of the bedroom). The electric kettle (with instant coffee) was also a huge plus for me.

Great location just a 2-3 min walk from the train station. Everything we needed to reach was so close to the hotel, including public transport. If you travel from the airport by bus, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Every day between 5-7 pm there is a treat available out of charge- waffles and tea. When you walk into the hotel at that time, a sweet smell surrounds you, creating a feeling of home.

Would be great to have a hairdryer in the bathroom!

We are happy to stay there again. Their breakfast buffet is the best by far compared to the other hotels we stayed in the last 3 weeks. Shuttle bus to the airport out side the hotel leaves every 30 minutes. Coming from the airport , ask to stop at the train station, it is only a few minutes walk to the hotel. Close to all central attractions.

The hotel room was comfortable and warm. There was proper storage space for our belongings and clothes. The free Norwegian waffles that you could get in the lobby everyday were very much appreciated. Staff was friendly.

There were some stains on the curtains and carpet. There was also no refrigerator present in our room. Breakfast times were rather early. (7am to 10 am on weekdays). The manual door lock was broken. (There was an electronic one instead.)

- The people at the reception are very nice, they help you with directions and may give you a tourist map. - The Hotel lies very central. - The room is cozy and comfortable for a single traveler. - The breakfast was excellent - big diversity to choose from.

- The door-threshold in the bathroom might be dangerous - you can easily stumble upon it. - My room was quite far in a labyrinthic floor. - The actions of the neighbours and on the floor can be well heard inside the room.
