Great location, closeby train and bus station. All of Trondheim city center is within walking distance. Excellent breakfast, wide variety. Friendly reception Excellent wifi coverage.

Although evertthing is clean and present a very small bathroom. Some small inconvienencies: No light bulb in the desk lamp, wall socket on one side of the bed was not working.

The breakfast spread is wonderful, and it's an added bonus that they list allergens for each food. They offer smoothies, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and a good variety of hot and cold foods. The single rooms are small but very comfortable, and the location is excellent.

The room was overall clean, but it bothered me thay it had obviously not been vacuumed - the carpeted floor was quite dirty. There was also quite a bit of construction going on on our floor, which obviously is fine as it does have to happen! But some warning and perhaps some discount could have been a nice touch from the hotel (drilling started before 8am and it's not quite the same experience).

The breakfast exceeded our expectations, and was one of the best we've ever had in a hotel (not just in Norway). It was freshly made and offered so many options every day - it was the most fitting start to a day of activities. The beds were comfy, and the location very nice for exploring the city and surroundings.

It is close to a couple of bars, so when it's warm and you want the windows open it can get noisy. Also, it was a while since the carpet had been deep cleaned but overall the room and common areas were clean.

The receptionist Ase was such a kind caring friendly lady. My wife fell on the ice and broke her arm a week ago and was therefore partially disabled. Ase checked us in as soon as we arrived at 10am. She even upgraded us to a superior room that was closest to the main facilities. What a wonderful person. A true ambassador for the hotel. The food was also generous and tasty. All day coffee. The room was very comfortble and spacious with its own fridge coffee machine and umbrella amongst other convenient necessities. The location was also excellent. Close to the cruise port, central train station and the town centre. This was my 3rd visit to Trondheim. My 1st stay at this hotel. I highly recommend the Thon Nidaros Trondheim. If I ever go to Trondheim again I know where to stay.

Honestly nothing.

Central location in Trondheim, close to the harbor and some entertainment and restaurant areas at the river Nidelva. Very good breakfast buffet (which seems typical for Thin Hotels). Good equipment level and comfortable bed in the room. Parking on the weekend is possible free of charge on the street in front of the hotel(city parking rules; it's only short term paid parking during the week, but there's also a parking garage nearby).

Room, even though it was in the new part of the hotel, was very small (the hotel is made up of two connected buildings - a historic one and a modern wing). The window looked out on a narrow alley and the wall of the other hotel building, so no great view. There can be some noisy party crowds on the streets of the quarter during Saturday night, so it may not be the best location for people who are looking for a quiet and calm environment.

The sofa in the room was not properly cleaned so we need to do it on our own before we want to sit in it.

Breakfast was incredibly extensive, and the staff did a great job- quietly and efficiently taking away dirtied plates, etc. The food stations were as varied as I've seen at any of the hotels I've stayed in this summer. Exceptional variety catering to all tastes: American, British, European.

My room was on the second floor overlooking a parking area that was a bit noisy - nothing that closing the window didn't fix - but, I do enjoy a bit of fresh air while sleeping so this was bit annoying. That may be a bit of a nitpick - but, noted.

Located very close to the train station and surrounded by restaurants, within walking distance of all city attractions. The staff is nice and friendly, and the room is clean and quiet. The breakfast selection is good, and there's complimentary coffee in the lobby with a great variety.

Excellent place, close to the railway station and city center. Really nice staff. Reach breakfast with a lot of choices for any taste, really good. Coffee, tea, and apples are always.available at lobby for free.

The beds were not fixed, so they freely moved when you are rotating - a bit weird. Also our room was on a 5th floor, so the windowere high, I could not see anything through.

Bedroom was very well appointed, well laid-out, and spotlessly clean, while just about big enough for two people with two large suitcases. Fantastic location, close to train station, ferryport, and all the attractions of Trondheim town centre. Very nice vibe in the public areas, and the breakfast was suberb. Complimentary light snack available in the evening (which we didn't avail of) was a generous and kind gesture.

Nothing really, except that maybe the bedroom could be a little larger. Also parking seems to be on-street only, at a cost.
