Our room was large and very comfortable. Bed was amazing. Location was excellent. Breakfast was great. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful.

One minor issue, and it isn’t the property’s fault. This area of Cusco has lots of traffic and pedestrians at all hours. Every night there was some traffic noise (honking), there was shouting on the street outside our room one night, there was loud bass from music another night. We used white noise and ear plugs and went back to sleep. I would expect you’ll have the same issue at most hotels around this area, and it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again.

The location is excellent, close to all key sites in Cuzco, the breakfast was very good with fresh fruits, eggs, etc - and the staff was superb - Isabel helped us on everything, from getting information about Cuzco, indicating a reliable travel agency, reserving dinner at the balcony of the restaurant at Plaza del Armas, to getting a taxi to the airport - but the most important was how Isabel and the staff supported us to help my son to get medical support, as he had suffered from altitude disease in our last day in Cuzco - Isabel helped us to get basic oxygen, arranged to get support from local clinic/hospital, where my son had to spend some time with oxygen to recover it from the lack of oxygen. Super recommend Casa Biru, excellent colonial boutique hotel experience Tks Isabel!

It didn’t fully bother us, but perhaps I would recommend to have softer pillows, and perhaps was the room we stayed in, but I believe other rooms had more windows with natural light

The room was very comfortable and it was in a great location. Only 5 minutes to plaza de armas. The room had a small heater which we needed at night. The entry to the hotel also doubles as a clothing shop and the Casa Biru sign is tiny. The hotel is across the road from the Marriott (which might be easier for directions)

The room only had 1 frosted window so I felt a bit boxed in but I suspect this is the same with all hotels in Cusco given the age of the buildings and how they are all connected. It didn't spoil the stay. Just an observation.

There was so much to like at this place! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was amazing--nice water flow and great temp. If you have travelled at all in Latin America, you know what I am talking about. The breakfast was very nice and passable for the price point and we had the place to ourselves, or at least, it felt like it. We were even able to organize the laundry service next door to leave our clothes for us as we were out traveling all day and were scared we would return after closing. The rooms were also lovely and included a space heater for those cold nights. Location was perfect, just a few blocks walk from the Plaza de Armas and a five minute taxi from Wanchaq station.

Although the bathtub was a nice touch, the shape of it made it difficult to take a shower (it was one of those body contouring ones). Also, the place was a touch tricky to find, especially at night because the sinage wasn't lit up and they weren't picking up the line that was listed on Google. They do give you a what's app number upon arrival! Just be aware it is directly across the street from the Marriot.

We stayed at the Casa Biru for 2 nights only, but it was the best experience for all of us. Rooms are spacious (we had two level room) , bathroom, bed linen, towels - everything is clean and neat. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful, you can find all necessary food to start your morning, coffee is amazing. I would like to highlight how helpful and friendly staff is. Isabel is a true heart and soul of this hotel. By the way, the hotel located in the heart of the city in proximity to all the main areas. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends and would be happy to return back again.

The location and staff spot on.The comfort of the bed as well. There was a leak in the washbasin and the windows of the bedroom needed more cleaning. The breakfast (packed) leaves much to be desired. Bread and granola bar terrible. I advised the first day that I was vegetarian and I got a ham sandwich the second breakfast. Isabel and Gabriel were great, it was my cousins birthday and her bedroom was decorated accordingly which made her day even more special. Thank you so much !!

We would highly recommend Casa Biru to anyone traveling to Cusco! The rooms were nice, the beds were very comfortable, the included daily breakfast was filling, and the staff was always pleasant. We unfortunately had to change our plans last minute, but the staff at Casa Biru was very accommodating and provided us a room at a reasonable price. We also had an unfortunate little mishap during our time in Cusco, but the staff was again very helpful and pleasant. Overall, the staff is extremely professional and the hotel is at a great central local for anyone's visit to the main sites of Cusco.

The water was not consistently hot in the mornings for showers, though most mornings it was at least good enough. Additionally, the rooms facing the street were a bit loud, especially in the mornings when vans would pick up tour groups.

Wonderful characteristic building, super friendly staff (Isabel who welcomed me, Anderson at breakfast) very close to Plaza del Armas. Quiet room, tasteful, very comfortable bed, good shower. Breakfast was in a beautifully decorated room with the lovely host Anderson. Got breakfast box for early departure for the Inka trail. Everything highly recommended.

Nada. Everything was just as I like it!

Superbly situated in the historical center of Cusco. A charming, characterful building and a spotlessly clean, spacious apartment, with a huge super-king-sized bed. Isabel and other staff were friendly and helpful: arranging airport transfers, suggesting restaurants, sights to see, making a packed breakfast for my early-morning departure for Machu Picchu. There was coffee and tea available in the courtyard, and a very nice cooked breakfast on my second morning. Wifi connection was good. I loved looking out from my little balcony and seeing the women in their colorful traditional dress, sitting on the steps opposite with baby alpacas!

It was a little chilly and I didn't see any kind of heating controls in my room. To say the place was a little big for just one person isn't really a complaint!

Breakfast was excellent. Staff will come ask you how you would like your eggs when you arrive. There is coffee, tea, yogurt, cereal and milk, sausages, fruit, olives, cheese, cold cut ham, and tomatoes. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was great. The staff was very accommodating and polite. My luggage was delayed and the front desk staff even went out to help me buy a toothbrush and she was so nice about it. You can keep in touch with the hotel via WhatsApp and they were very quick to respond.
