Excellent experience in this gorgeous and relaxing hotel with beautifully appointed large rooms (we had a family room with 2 of us) with a balcony, great shower and water pressure, plenty of windows for light and views from the upper rooms, super comfortable beds with numerous superb pillows. The staff deserves exemplary kudos for the warmest welcome, taking care of all our needs (laundry, filtered water, ordering transport, restaurant service, awesome breakfast)— special thanks to Christian! We extended our stay (doubling the #of days) as we decided this was a dream hotel to enjoy the Sacred Valley. Located down a side street we found it easy to walk to town (12-15 minutes), found amazing food, a spa called Samay, and coffee houses. Urubamba and Lizzy Wasi were fabulous!

Stay was excellent with beautiful views - best of our stay in Peru. We stayed here to acclimatise before going to Cusco and rainbow mountain. Kelly went out of her way to make us comfortable and was always ready to help. If she was not at work we could still what’s app her which was very helpful. 5 mins drive or less into town, you can walk or take Tuktuk which costs only 2USD. Safe area, Urubamba in general felt very safe. Peru rail to Machu Picchu was again a 5 min drive from the property and they arranged all taxis for us including to Cusco. Loved the map placemat at breakfast - helped us plan our trips over breakfast! We did Moray, maras salt mine and ollantaytambo as day trips from here in private taxi.

Access to iron to press clothes will be helpful - we did ask for it and was advised by a man at the reception to wait until morning for launderette to open. But we had to leave early. Genuine feedback - a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities will be great. However Kelly was fantastic as always, arranged for hot water to be brought to room early in the morning and before bed.

The gardens were beautiful…if we had time to relax there & take advantage, the property was quite nice. The alpacas, trampolines, fire pit are nice for kids & a potential extended stay.

The offer of jacuzzi/spa services was not made clear? I would have expected that offering to be included in the total price to improve the value. Breakfast eggs were good& fresh bread cooked in the wood burning oven was nice. Our room was unfortunately located quite close to the kitchen and breakfast area which resulted in us being awoken quite early—-6am by dishes being unloaded and stacked outside for breakfast.

Everything was PERFECT! The property is gorgeous - beautiful garden w/ alpacas in the yard & a gorgeous mountain view. Inti at the front desk was very kind & helped me arrange a spa service w/ Gladys (which was incredible), a taxi for the airport, & late checkout. Food at the restaurant is delicious & true farm-to-table. Breakfast was wonderful. My room had large windows & a balcony w/ a beautiful view. Overall a very peaceful & comfortable stay in Urubamba. 10/10 recommend!

Nothing - it was perfect.

We stayed for one night here to acclimate from sea level before heading to Cusco. This is an amazing facility. We wish we had stayed more. The grounds are immaculately maintained with a park like atmosphere. Plenty of space to sit and relax and spend time with friends and family. Nice restaurant. The staff were extremely helpful. They arranged for airport pick up from CUZ and arranged a local tour of the sacred valley. Rooms were spacious with a nice balcony. Not to be missed in sacred valley.

No negatives.

Beautiful garden, spacious rooms, one of the best showers in Peru

Lots of signs for tips, yet staff in some areas (like restaurant) was not particularly welcoming. One day breakfast was a buffet, next was not and it seemed an imposition to keep asking for hot water for tea. Also, it is down a dirt road far from town so you will have to walk for a mototaxi. Must be prepared for that because in rainy season is very muddy

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, felt very safe and secure and everything was all in one place! Alpacas, lovely gardens, workout yoga center, spa/massage options, lovely views of mountains, clean cozy rooms, delicious food options, local artists. Inti and his staff were over the top wonderful and helpful. Booked a driver for me for a day of exploring. Would return again!

Not much, there is no air conditioning so that might be an issue if it were hotter time of year and no ceiling fan for fan people, but lovely windows that open.

Beautiful gardens. The games and trampolines for the kids were very welcome. The rooms were very large and comfortable. The location was quiet but we were keen to eat out as the restaurant was a bit limited and the local taxis didn’t recognise the hotel often. The staff were very friendly and helped us with trips. The alpacas were much enjoyed by us.

It would have been nice to have facilities to make a hot and have access to free filtered water. The gym was a great addition but it was a bit limited.

There are luxury hotels that offer great service, and then there is Lizzy Wasi a hotel that makes you feel as if they built the hotel just for YOU. I mean talk about one of a kind attention to detail and service! This little gem of a hotel sits in an unassuming small side road. You wouldn’t think much of it when you pull up. As we entered, we were greeted right away by the staff, Jesus the manager, Bill and Lizzy the owners and Alvaro. But the service began way before we even arrived. Weeks before the trip as we are making preparations. I reached out to Lizzy Wasi via WhatsApp. Lizzy was incredibly helpful and kind to give her time to answer many questions and let me pick her brain. Because of this, our family saved so much money on tickets and tours to Machu Picchu, then she referred me to the manager Jesus phone number. This brilliant fellow ran the place like a well oiled machine! He coordinated all the transport for us!! He was fantastic , he checked in right before our trip, and assured us that everything would go without a hitch. And I did.! We were picked up in Cusco by the transport Cuzco Mágico which Jesus had set up for us. On the way there the driver was kind enough to stop in a small town, where we were able to buy some alpaca and llama wool sweaters. They explained the process to ise alpaca and llama wool and how to dye it using natural dies from the region. Very cool! Peruvian people are just so kind and polite. Customer service is definitely Paramount in this country. We arrived at the hotel, and, as I said, we were greeted by most of the staff. We were led to our room, which was a two-story suite, that was beautiful and incredibly cozy, included a fireplace, a balcony and on the floor boards of the first story, we could even see the through glass covers tile a stream that ran underground through our room! Just beautiful! Little windows with views of the mountains, from every side, and every angle.

would be great of there was bottled water in the room.

Gorgeous grounds, excellent homemade food, lovely staff. The room was perfect, the shower was amazing, and the staff helped my family feel comfortable and cared for. Highly recommended for travelers with family! The grounds are a wonderland for kiddos: from the trampolines to the alpacas & cats, fruit trees, and rocks to climb: my kids were in paradise.

This is not a complaint, but the hotel is not close to Urubamba (walking distance) nor to any stores, so plan accordingly (bring water!)
