We were welcomed by nice staff with welcome drinks. For free breakfast, there’s variety of options (i recommend that you try PANDESAL-the best filipino bread). The room that we had was huge with very comfortable beds and loads of pillows, and the bathroom was also a good size and has great power of shower. The amenities are lovely, there’s a bar near the sea/pier (bacau’s own pier) where you can watch sunset. In the afternoon, they provide all the guests with cookies/simple delights with a card from the owner. Overall, it was a short but sweet and lovely stay. My partner and i had a wonderful time! I would definetely recommend Bacau Bay to my relatives and friends, one of the best resorts i’ve been! Thank you to all the staff!!

This hotel is definitely upscale for the area. It's a bit of a hike from Coron Town Center. I love that you can technically not leave the facilities to enjoy everything in Coron, but can also go into town if you want. The staff is attentive and very friendly.

Prices at the resort are a bit higher than if you were to eat, drink, book trips. The hotel is a bit dated. Facilities aren't as clean as an American would expect at a luxury resort. For instance, the shower head was black with mold as well as some of the corners of the shower with mildew. The restaurant windows have not been cleaned in some time as there is an accumulation of bugs and spiderwebs.

Great hotel with spacious rooms and helpful staff. The breakfast and dining options are good. The spa is affordable with professional service. The hotel location is good and not far from the city center. The hotel is coordinating shuttles between airport/ seaport and its facility. The hotel swimming pool is clean and well maintained. It offers a calm space to chill and relax during your day off or after island hopping.

The main lobby staff were very helpful and friendly. the room was nice and there was a little treat every night when I got back to the hotel.

The pool was very basic with no pool bar as such just a stall bar at the back and a waiter. The breakfast buffet wasn’t great with the restaurant staff very slow and eating there at night was frustrating how slow the staff were and they often forgot my requests. There are only two spa beds so I couldn’t book in to get a massage I had to go into town.

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay at Bacău Bay. The staff were phenomenal, the location was ideal and the hotel it’s self had everything that you needed. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the seafood was divine. The additional complimentary touches were also a wonderful touch to end each day especially around the Christmas period. We will definitely be coming back!

I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Bacau Bay, it was by far the best place I have stayed at in the Philippines. The room is comfy and great bed/bedding, view over pool and sea, very relaxing pool area, amazing sunset on the pier and such a peaceful setting and such friendly and helpful staff!Thank you for making me feel so so welcome 💛

The resort was amazing, service from the moment you stepped on the property. The staff were very welcoming. The room was large and clean, big pool in the middle of the hotel. Restaurant pool bar and wharf bar available Large grounds, amount a 15-20min walk into town or staff can call you a tuk tuk to take you down. The staff provide you with a fresh jug of water and a turn down treat each night. They also did a little cake for my birthday. We also booked a private tour through the hotel and it was an incredible experience, I would highly recommend.

On the first day the restaurant had limited menu items available.

The staff were absolutely incredible and bent over backwards to meet all of our requests. They were always so polite and with a big smile on their faces. The sunset bar was lovely with great music and the most beautiful spot to watch the sunset. Lovely pool facilities and the bedroom was extremely comfortable with a big bathroom and shower. We rented mopeds and could always get a tricycle from outside the hotel. Would recommend you eat at Island Boy for amazing seafood and grill, also live music which was a great vibe. Overall, would definately return again.

The first room was noisy with the pool staff speaking loudly just below our balcony in the mornings but the reception staff were amazing and instantly moved us to a quieter room on the other side of the resort. Don't forget to put a 'do not disturb' sign on your door as housekeeping did walk in most mornings when were sleeping. Otherwise no complaints, we were really impressed.

Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed the little sweets which were brought to the room every evening. I also highly recommend the massage.

The breakfast had limited options for European/continental breakfast. There was a problem with the pool filter and the water turned greenish for a full day. Didn’t look very inviting. They ran out of ice so they couldn’t serve any sunset drinks. They could have offered a voucher for the next day to compensate but they didn’t.

Beautiful grounds, pier, room service, and meeting other travelers.

Nothing to dislike. But we found a better island-hopping deal from a tour company in Coron Town.
