Stayed here for 10 nights. Staff are very kind. The cleaning lady was the best, always smiling. Must be the best hotel in dumaguete city (not talking about the resorts). 5 min walk to the boulevard, room was modern, clean and big, hot water, breakfast was enough for me. I asked for a room not facing the street and it was very quiet. Safe in the room. Underground parking for motorcycle. Would definitely come back.

Kettle was fall of limescale so I did not use. One of the elevators did not work.

the location is great

i slept in 2 different bedrooms. the tv remote control is so hard to use. even the staff complains when i ask for help because the cable box is complicated. i swear the cable boxes and televisions need to be replaced! and keep one remote control only

The location is relatively distant to Rival Boulevard, around 15min walking. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is very close to Silliman University, 10 minutes by walk. Suitable for those visitors to the university.

The breakfast is simple and the selection is limited. Only one lift is available while the other is under repair. Sound proof need improve. The machine noise makes loud sound throughout the whole night.

Location convinient but busy street..walking distance to sea promenade with restaurants and food vendors. Very friendly and professional people at the front desk.

Food Breakfast variety would be nice..Decent bread or buns beside white toast bread would be nice.. Coffee is not good..Would be nice to provide coffee machine allowing to make coffee selection.. There is no vegetables available..?.

Location was good, had breakfast buffet (drinks, fruit, etc.), with tv cable, with toiletries, comfy bed, nice windows, nice blackout curtains, had minifridge, bathroom was ok, had wifi I think. Didn't interact with staff that much so I can't say about hospitability. This was recommended to us by a friend, it was great considering that we booked it just 2 days before.

Huge breakfast everyday. Staff is there for whatever you really need. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. It is an older hotel, and when I was there the main elevators went out, but was able to use the freight instead, The underground parking for a motorbike and walking distance to main town makes it a great place to stay.

The rooms were spacious, the mattresses were very comfortable, the sheets were very clean, the staff were very helpful and accommodating, the breakfast served daily were generous in serving and filling.

I travelled with my father who is a senior citizen but he didn’t get to avail the se citizen discount because we booked through this platform.

Hotel Essencia is highly commendable for its affordable rate yet meeting the satisfaction of its clients. Settled at the center of Dumaguete, making itsclients reach important establishment easily. All staffs and crews were trained providing warm welcome and excellent service.

The breakfast was pact. The best solution could be, allocate a time for each room to avoid other clients waiting in the reception area as some people take their time in eating.
