- Quiet room I asked for a quiet room when I made the reservation. They gave me a room at the end of the hall far from the noisy street. I slept very well. - Very comfortable bed - Very friendly ladies at the reception - Very helpful They answered all questions (Where to buy spare parts for computers, nightlife, ...). - WiFi in my room with no problems - Check-in in less than a minute The key with my name was already at the reception. - Small breakfast included - Terrace on the 4th floor with good views Here you can eat what you bought in a restaurant. - Close to ATM, shops, restaurants, port, bus terminal - Complimentary shampoo in the bathroom

- Noisy street The rooms facing the street must be noisy. If you don't like noise, you should ask for a quiet room. - Floor in the bathroom Something in the toilet, possibly a small hose, was leaking and the floor was constantly wet.

I enjoyed my 4 weeks in Kayong’s Inn deluxe double room 303. The room was comfortable and functional and the staff is exceptional. I took advantage of the convenient laundry service and the free water on each floor is a nice bonus. Kayong’s is about a 15-minute walk to the restaurants by the ocean and 10 minutes to the downtown mall. My favorite restaurant in Dumaguete was the Green Chef right upstairs, and I’m not even vegan!

The air conditioner in room 303 is very loud! Also I wish the window was bigger.

I love how cold the A/C is in the room and the smart TV, but we only used YT. The Inn is located near the market and everything. I like how friendly the staff are and they are pet friendly indeed. The housekeeping staff is very kind. Thank you for the nice gesture of giving us a mattress for our dog.

There was a leak at the A/C on the first room that we were staying. Maybe because of the typhoon but it’s nice that this will be fixed. The parking is very difficult as they have a shared parking space with the Auto Parts below.

- affordability and value for money was great. - central location - strong water pressure in shower and stable temperature control - very clean - a quality vegan/vegetarian restaurant on the top floor - it was just what we were looking for, a bed for a couple of nights in a good location that is clean and comfortable. - bike rental available for 350 a day

- the bike rental was very affordable, but I would have been happy to pay a little more for slightly better maintenance. We were only there a couple of days so decided to take it anyway. The rear tyre needed replacing (the treads were smooth) and air (we just filled with air) and the steering was loose and possibly very slightly misaligned. Safe enough to drive and passable for a short term rental but could be held to a safer standard.

The location was good, 15mins by foot from the port of Dumaguete and 8 mins away by foot from the bus station. Good WiFi, nice and helpful staff.

Our room was very noisy, especially at night because it was just in front of the street where the traffic is very intense. The AC also very noisy at night and we could sleep not very well. The shower was ok, but hot water was very hot and cool water was very cool, difficult to mix them together and have a perfect shower… but not a big problem for us.

Firstly, I would like to thank management and staff for an exceptional stay. Jane and Ray treated me like family. Every Sunday, Dumaguete has a day-long brownout; a free tour is arranged for guests to Valencia markets and a drive to Pulangbato for a soak in the hot springs and/or a refreshing dip in the waterfall pool. A free and wholesome lunch was provided for everyone's enjoyment. Kayongs Inn is close to the boulevard. I would give 10 stars if I could. I will be back!! Salamat po Team!! 💕

Good location not too far from the bus terminal, city center, or boardwalk. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel staff is exceptional. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Fast internet, and mesh WiFi repeaters for every two rooms down the hall. Hotel has a fourth floor open air rooftop, with a shared kitchen and seating. It's a great place to look out over the town. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, with large sheets that will keep you covered throughout the night. Jane, Johnna, and James looked after me very well. They were terrific with local knowledge and made sure I got to the right places at the right prices!

I had a very pleasant stay. I was allowed to check in very early, which was a nice start. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was a comfortable size, with a comfortable bed and was perfectly clean. The location is convenient for the central market and the waterfront promenade. All in all, a nice stay with excellent value for money. The restaurant on the top floor is excellent.

I have no complaints at all.

The location was phenomenal, right in the center of everything. Walkable to the waterfront as well as the main attractions in Dumaguete. Close to many restaurants and grocery stores. All of the rooms have windows which is an added bonus, there is hot and cold (drinkable) water available on every floor. The staff were very helpful and kind to me. I decided to extend my stay to 4 nights total.

The only negative thing for me was the shower, it was a little difficult to control the temperature.

Low low price. Accessible helpful staff. Everything worked fine including hot water shower, wifi and aircon. Nice clean room with efficient table space, big enough bed and window. Centrally located with easy access to public market, church, port and waterfront. It all adds up to an exceptional value at Kayong's Inn.

No complaints. Be aware there is no elevator - so some stair climbing involved. Staff carried up our bags when we arrived and helped us when we left.
