The hotel itself looks great. It’s modern. The rooms are great and the bathrooms are great. Good to have hot water and decent shower. The swimming pool is huge and then has seperate kids pool bit which has multiple depths which keeps them happy. There are lots of cabana beds around the pool which is awesome. The beach and the sunsets are simply amazing. Then 2 min walk down the Beach and you have access to a whole load of restauRants, bars and shops. In 4 nights at the hotel we ate their once as the food and service is better at the outside locations. There is a great beach bar attached to another note next door but it looks and feels the same. A chap called Gummie does the cocktails and he is awesome. They have Happy Hour 4 to 7 so covers sun set and right outside the bar is a small grab water river running into the sea which the kids loves playing in. Breakfasts were good

The service wasn’t great. It took an age to deliver food and drinks round the pool… one order of drinks and chips took 40 mins. In 9 days in El Nido we stayed at 3 hotels and the service here was the worst. That’s not to say it was rubbish, but it was just slow and frustrating. Also no happy hour… as above - I could walk 2 mins down the beach and get happy hour elsewhere Also out of the 8 of us staying there 2 of us got splinters from the pool… a weird one. But one child and one adult got it (me). The pool is big and good but needs a bit of love.

Wonderful pool area & good location ...... without is the doubt best selling points . Very nice beach and very close to local restaurants which you can walk to along the beach.

Breakfast and overall menu needs a vast upgrade and improvement in quality to be in line with other 5 star resorts.....almost everywhere we ate outside of the resort was better quality food including hotels with less star ratings.

A beautiful property situated on the very peaceful Lio Beach. I like how the resort covered a very wide part of the beach and how the room balcony faces the pool and the beach. I absolutely love the staff, we came at a very busy time so it was pretty full on for them, but they always greeted you with a smile and did their best to help you out and find you the best deals on the island - shout out to Mae Ann at the front desk! We also had an incident where we needed medical attention and I felt like we were attended to very quickly and effectively so thank you again for that.

Just a few things: - The kids’ play room smelled a bit mouldy/musty. - I found the smoke alarms in the room to flash very brightly at night. - Pillows could be firmer. - Breakfast buffet needs more variety and fruits.

Location is on a very lovely beach - pool is lovely. Food is a bit boring after a couple of days but there are excellent alternatives 3-5 minutes away by free golf cart organized by the hotel. It is 15 minutes away from the main village that you can reach by a cheap tricycle ride. All hotel staff are lovely. A special shoutout to the resident medic: he has been visiting our group member hat was very unwell a lot of times day and night, administered IV in the comfort of the room, which allowed us to not have to ve in the local community hospital, and accompanied us to the get the blood tests to follow up in a suspected dengue case (fortunately it turned out not to be one!) a really outstanding service.

5 ☆☆☆☆☆ The place was beautiful, full of magic, and very romantic. The staff treated everyone like royalty. The pool is super large and beautiful ♡. The hospitality is above and beyond! The private boat tour was super affordable and very fun and beautiful. They picked us up right on the shore. The spa was so wonderful! And with amazing prices!!! 1/3rd of cost elsewhere. Unbelievable A+++

Bring long sleeve linnen or cotton dresses and pants for the beach at night! And insect repellent. I didnt take the warning signs seriously until the Nik Nik sand fleas on the beach near the mangrove trees ate me alive, even with bug spray. They are so small you dont see them. The on site nurse however was amazing! She gave me a nice salve mixture of zinc and calamine lotion. A daily dose of antihistamine in the evenings was helpful.

We stayed at Seda Lio Hotel in El Nido, Philippines, and it was an amazing experience in every way! - Location: Perfect, with breathtaking views. - Staff: Extremely professional and friendly. - Room cleanliness and service: Exceptional, making our stay very comfortable. - Beach: Beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxation. We had a wonderful vacation full of privacy and comfort. A special thanks to Ms. Maya for her kind and attentive care for all the resort’s guests. Her attention to detail and dedication were key in making breakfast a success every day. Additionally, the WhatsApp communication service was extremely convenient for making requests and coordinating events such as birthday celebrations. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience unforgettable!

The pools were much better than in the pictures, the beach was quiet and relaxing, and all the staff were kind and welcoming. Eddie, one of the lifeguards, went above and beyond - my daughter wanted to snorkel so he swam out to the reef with her about 1500 meters off of shore (I went with them on a paddle board). The property is exceptionally clean. Just a short walk up the beach is a small tourist village with a bunch of restaurants and a pharmacy. It was low season when we visited, and the resort was super quiet. We did a private boat tour and the boat picked us up right on the beach. We've vacationed in many SE Asian countries and this was the best resort yet. Also - the sunsets are absolutely incredible!

Nothing - would stay here again. I was the only one in my family who was bitten by Nik Niks so next time I'll wear bug spray on the beach.

We are a family of 4, traveling with 2 kids (10 and 8). Impeccable, stunning, relaxing. Outstanding staff and service, hard working, extremely polite. They are there to make your vacation ultra relaxing and they make it happen. Facilities and beach are spotless, staff are continuously cleaning everything. My youngest got sick, and thanks to the wonderful hotel nurse and staff, we were supported in all our needs. Room service is responsive and reliable. Great food, complementary golf cart to a small village nearby with lovely places to eat, complementary water activities, awesome game room for kids. The hotel tours with partner agencies is the same price of outside agencies and much more comfortable. We absolutely loved it. Best place we stayed in the Philippines and we stayed in many 5 star hotels in 4 different islands in this vacation.

Nothing to say really. I will definitely come back.

Seda Lio is a nice and big resort located on the nice Lio Beach, a little bit north of El Nido, close to the El Nido airport, ideal location if you do not want to be caught in the chaotic downtown. At the same time you are also closer to Nacpan beach and to other viewpoints in the north. The rooms are big, spacious and clean, with a nice balcony. The water used by the hotel is from a special supplier, so the massive water issues in El Nido are less present here and you be more relaxed (but always pay attention) The breakfast has plenty of options, however whenever some food is finished, it takes quite a lot of time to be replaced (e.g. milk). The pool is big and clean, and the beach is wonderful. Here you can use the kayak for free, for example, or play a little bit of beach tennis. There is a signpost warning on the presence of nik-nik, however we did not experience (almost) any bite. The staff is always nice and helpful, although service is a little bit impersonal, mainly due to the big size of the hotel. We experienced the release of the turtles in the ocean and it was magical! Within walking distance (5 min) there are plenty of dining opportunities, in case you do not want to eat in the resort, and the path is illuminated

I did not like how the hotel is structured, so that to walk from one place to another you need to make some path, like through the bar or through the outside part of the restaurant. The pool is nice and the water is warm, however there are a lot of sharp edges that can be dangerous for kids. There could be more sunbeds available, either at the pool or at the beach.

The staff were amazing! They go beyond and make you feel welcome to the resort.

The facilities needed work. For the price per night, I would have expected the place to be topnotch. Maintenance of the facilities should be a priority.
