The beds were very firm and the pillows were memory foam and amazing. I love firm beds, but my hubby thought they were too firm. The pool is AMAZING, too! It was a life saver on the hot days. The snorkeling right in front of the hotel was stunning! It was so easy to spend hours in the water exploring all the wonders under the sea. I loved being here.

The initial entrance to the place is a bit jarring. It is quite unkempt and messy and makes you wonder what you have signed up for. But then you see the hotel itself and it is beautifully kept and very well run. So, if they just fix up the actual entrance into the property, it would be even better.

The location was divine. I have never stayed anywhere so peaceful, naturally beautiful and untouched. The staff were incredible. I wanted to stay longer mostly because of them. Marmi is a gem of a lady! The gym is also a fantastic addition!

It was just a little hot in my room, even with AC and 2 fans. I felt the AC maybe needed updating.

The location is beachfront and very beautiful but the road is very bad, remote and dark in the night. Try to memorize the route during the day and it won’t be a problem.

its quite far out from everything . If you want to explore the surrounding town you have to have your own vehicle. the hotel does have a car service to take you to town

Breakfasts were varied and delicious. Ordering the evening before was a good idea. The dining area was quite warm to start but soon cooled down when the air conditioning was switched on. The location was quiet and very pretty. Having the free transport into town was unexpected and appreciated!

Having tea and coffee making facilities in each room would have been preferred. However, it wasn't a problem having it inside the dining area as it wasn't far from our rooms. What upset me most was the way dogs were looked after. A female dog was on heat (they said she was spayed) but having 4 males constantly following her and 2 mating with her right outside our room door was extremely upsetting as she was in pain. She clearly wasn't spayed. All the male dogs were all intact too. Nothing was done to take care of her and keep her away from the males.

The locality is designed for natural quietness and relaxation. The staff is super excellent and since I traveled with my dog, they were welcoming. The resort dogs are excellently cared for. As an animal lover, I appreciated that very much.

The property itself. The property is clean, rooms are big, facilities were well-provided. Dining area is big and allowed us to get food from outside to share with family. There’s free coffee and chocolate drinks too, open 24/7. The staff were amazing. Very polite and helpful. They provided us information about our planned activity and so accomodating. They even provided additional room for my friend when we could not book online. Very responsive to questions as well.

A little far from national road but property is accesible via tricycle, motorcycle and car. You can also rent transport provided in the property.

Easy access to the beach. Amazing breakfast. Big deep pool. Rooms are spacious. Good shower pressure. Good wifi. Friendly staff. Free tricycle after 1200 to evening for short journeys. Bring your reusable drink bottles as they have free drinking water and tea/coffee station which was amazing! Would recommend and stay again.

Pool was quite warm, not refreshing to jump into after a long day. We did not have a scooter, the accommodation is a distance to the main restaurant area. In saying this, there is a great restaurant within walking distance called JGs for amazing local food.

Reaching Casa de MoalBoal was an adventure in itself! After flying into Cebu, we booked a Grab to the bus station and took an air-conditioned bus to Moalboal. From there, a quick tuk-tuk ride brought us to Casa. The best part of our stay? The incredible staff! Always smiling and eager to please, they made us feel right at home. Judith was an absolute superstar, looking after us throughout our visit and ensuring everything was perfect. The included breakfast was delicious, though the options were limited compared to other places I’ve stayed. However, everything I tried was spot on—cornsilog quickly became a favorite! Coffee lovers will appreciate the morning coffee machine as well. Our room was clean, tidy, and spacious enough for a week-long stay. We especially loved the small table and chairs outside, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The gym was a highlight for me—well-equipped and better than many I’ve seen at larger resorts during my travels. Casa also offers scooter rentals, which I highly recommend since most places are a bit of a drive. For a closer option, JG’s Grill is just a 5-minute walk from the resort and is worth a visit when you’re not up for a ride into Moalboal. The pool was a peaceful spot to relax, read, or snooze, and it never felt crowded. Overall, Casa de MoalBoal is a fantastic choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The warm hospitality and thoughtful amenities make it a place I’d happily return to!

The only minor downside was being occasionally woken up by the resident dogs barking at night.
