Great location, only a leisurely 10 - 15 minute walk to the main square. Nicely decorated rooms with good facilities for a short stay. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices available and all topped up regularly. Secure private parking nearby for about £10 a day. Overall a lovely stay and would happily stay again!

If you’re facing the road the trams can be a little noisy, but didn’t find it too much of a problem. Pillows were too soft for me but that could be personal choice. Nothing that would prevent me staying again or recommending this hotel though! :-)

Location is great - I'm very glad I went with a hotel just outside of Old Town, but near enough to walk in each day. The laundromat across the road is very helpful as there are no laundry facilities at the hotel. There are several excellent cafes/other restaurants on the street before getting to Old Town, too. The bed was comfortable, the facilities were excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It is a very efficiently run hotel in an ideal location. Anything you need is either provided or nearby.

The WiFi could be a bit spotty at times. Also, the room I was in was at the front of the hotel - the street is reasonably busy and the noise from the street (trams, people, horse-drawn carriages etc) does make it up to the room. Didn't really bother me but worth mentioning for light sleepers.

The location was great 10/15 minutes from the square, therefore, everything was within walking distance. The room was excellent for what we needed and the Aircon was incredible after days of walking around in the heat. The beds were comfortable yet small. Rooms were made up daily with fresh towels.

There was a funny smell as you walked in to the lobby and up the lift, luckily it did not enter the room. The beds were small and comfortable yet the sheets did not fit and I found myself without any by the morning. Leaving water was a great feature in the room but two fizzy waters when neither guest liked sparkling, everyone will drink still water, not everyone will drink sparking.

The breakfast is delicious and well worth the price, especially if you full up and don't need to go searching for lunch. The location is fabulous, just a short walk from the train station and the main drag. This is a lovely boutique hotel with excellent staff, perfect facilities for our needs (mini fridge, AC, nice shower/bathroom, smoking area if you're into that, lounge and bar in the hotel, and safe in the room). The hotel and rooms are spotless clean!

The beds were not particularly comfortable (we had a room with two twins so perhaps is dependent on the room), and the pillow (one per person/bed) was flat and firm. That said, the beds weren't a deal breaker - this is a fantastic place to stay!

The breakfast was brilliant and more than we could have asked for. There was a nice mix of options such as sausages, eggs and bacon but also a range of breads, cheeses, hams, salads and cereals. The location was perfect, close to the market square but quiet. It only took us 10-15 minutes to walk to the square and through a lovely park area. The hotel provided good amenities such as ear plugs and had a mini fridge/kettle, and we were provided with fresh towels everyday. The air conditioning in the room was much appreciated as it was over 35'C on some of the days we visited. Worth every penny!

We really liked Hotel Lavender, the location was great, with a quick 15-20 minute walk to Main Market Square. The staff were fantastic! They answered all the questions we had and helped us arrange a tour, as well as a cab to the train station early in the morning on the day we left. We also enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor patio with our own beverages, it provided us a place to put our feet up, or if the heat of the sun.

The room itself was perfectly fine, small but nice and clean. And even though we were on a main tram line street, we didn't notice much outside noise as long as the windows were closed. The problem was the bed. It was not comfortable at all and neither were the pillows. Time for a new mattress and better pillows. Also, time to replace the shower heads with more practical ones. The rainshower head style is not ideal for rinsing hair as there is barely any pressure.

Very comfortable room. Bed was spacious and comfy and the pillows were soft. The facilities were very modern. The shower had great water pressure. Charging ports beside the bed. Rooms cleaned everyday & new towels provided everyday too. The hotel is in a perfect location about 10-15 min walk into the old town. There is always a staff member at reception which is ideal. Great value for money. They also let us check in early as our room was available early which was fantastic.

The rooms and other hotel premises were very tidy and clean. Daily housekeeping did an excellent job each time. The hotel was located within a walking distance from the old town but the neighbourhood seemed peaceful and the rooms had proper sound proofing as there was no noise from other rooms or the street. The room was nice with big comfortable bed and soft pillows.

The breakfast was a bit pricey considering it was a tad repetitive and there could've been a bit more vegeterian options.

The hotel is in walking distance from the main train station and the city center. There is also a tram station in 100 meters. The room was spacious and extremely clean. We were given complementary water for free everyday. The breakfast was delicious and contained variety of different options.

The sound of tram and cars passing on the road in front of the hotel may be disturbing for some people, especially light sleepers. However, there are earplugs provided for you in the room, so it was not an issue for us.

The location of the hotel is great. Very close to the main train/bus station, so it's about 7-9 minutes to walk. To the main square, it's also very close, about 5 minutes. At the same time, the street is very calm so it's quite comfortable at night even with open windows. The room was very good, comfortable, and clean. I can say that it exceeded my expectations. There is a small cafe downstairs, so you also have a place to have good coffee.

Everything was actually good.
