There are several pools and they’re all very nice. Not crowded pools. Enough lounge chairs for guests. Beautiful vegetation around the pool and a beautiful deck to get to the beach. Beautiful spacious beach. Second time at this resort. We love the resort but the staff is terrible. They rarely smile. The daytime restaurant staff look so sad and don’t smile. Reception staff not smiling much either. That really bothered us. Amazing resort but the service is average because of the staff. Bathroom average compare to the room. Room looks very nice though. Avoid being above the breakfast room and the bar restaurant in the main building since it gets very noisy as early as 7:30 and as late as 11:30 pm. Resort next door had 3 weddings while we were there, so it was difficult to fall asleep until 2am. I would still highly recommend this place because of its location and it’s beautiful pool areas. There is also a supermarket 5 mins walk away.

Never smiling staff. No water in the room for a 5 star hotel. It’s only free on the 1st day. Not normal. No hooks in the bathroom to hang the bathrobes. The noise between the rooms. You can literally hear people’s conversations.

The rooms huge and spacious. The amenities are really nice - great buffet breakfast, nice big pools and easy access to a good beach. A lot of good restaurants are 2-3 mins away (driving) or a 10 min walk away.

The room cleaning was not up to par for a 5 star property at all. The 1st day they forgot to refill the bottles of water, the 2nd day they left only 2 towels for 4 of us. As a 5 star hotel, and paying over $450 a night, I should not have to remind them of each of these things that are basic. Also, the rooms are massive, but the bathrooms are so tiny and dark - not good design at all. Does not feel like a 5 star.

Although our stay was short we did manage to have time in the pool, it was an amazing setting. The room was large with a pool and ocean view that was first class with comfortable beds and clean.

After recieving many warm welcoming messages from the hotel leading up to our stay. However the checkin process was cold and not very welcoming. Although our stay was short and offer of help with our luggage would have been appreciated. This was not offered. In the evenening I asked for directions to the pool. The gentleman at reception seemed offended by my request. Overall a beautiful hotel but customer service not 5 star as advertised.

The hotel is fine, it is very clean and the facilities are great. The pools are huge and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

For a 5 star hotel, this did not meet our expectations. The daily room cleaning service is very basic and not thorough. The gym was really small and not well equipped. In the afternoon when we were resting by the pools, they started mowing the lawn for 2 hours straight, right next to the pools. After a DJ followed with really loud music, so there was no chance to rest. The sunbeds by the ocean cost 7,5 euro/ day for one bed. The breakfast was the same every day, no variety at all. No staff by the pools.

The garden area, swimming pools and cleaning was amazing, just a walk from the beach was great as well. The room tight and organised, there is some areas that are asking a refurbishment, such as the bathroom, and living area, but nothing that affected our experience in the place, just for the price it didn’t felt very luxurious, in general was a pleasant experience.

The very thin walls were an issue at night, as we could hear the other guests at night. The buffet dinner was below expectation for the price, lack of options and quality itself of the food, not to mention the asking price for just water.

The room was outstanding. We loved the huge balcony and we had a great view of the pool and the ocean in the distance. The room was huge and we enjoyed the space. Pools were enormous and not too many people at them which was nice. The bed was okay. It had two twin mattresses pushed together so they kept slipping apart a bit. Cold items like fruit at the breakfast buffet were good.

The food was pretty bad. We ate at the buffet for dinner our first night because we were too tired to look for a restaurant. The food was mediocre and it was terribly overpriced. The breakfast buffet would have been okay but everything was cold. They don't seem to have any way to heat the food once it is brought out, so it all sits there forever and gets cold. I'm not sure why they don't have any way to keep it warm. At least they should replace it more often so you have a chance to get some eggs that are not cold.

The property needs a little bit of updating. The food hall and reception was too far away from our property. The entrance to our property 5 we stayed was wet and cover with sheets which did not make it appealing on arrival. Maybe the property is not suitable when it rains. Not much of a selection of juice at breakfast It would be nice if they offer even tap water during dinner time

Great breakfast with many choices, many pools and always had available loungers. Friendly reception and garage parking at no extra charge. Rooms were big with lots of storage space and drawers. Many restaurants close by … some within walking distance and others driving.

The beach was not a private beach for the hotel at all. The beach was accessible from the hotel but full of people, and beach chairs / umbrellas at extra price between 12 and 20 euros per day (not part of the hotel). ridiculous that the hotel supplies 2 capsules for the espresso machine for your stay and charges 1 Euro for all additional. For the price… it should be included. We bought some at the local market instead.

Great place and a beautiful property

We had a very poor experience at the buffet. If you charge Eur 35 per adult for a buffet one expects basics like food should be hot or be available for one to take. There was a wait for nearly 25 minutes for a fish to arrive. Three times I had to request but nothing came and finally when I started with my dessert it arrived which was a disappointment to be honest. The glasses had egg smell, the coke which was served was flat and had to be replaced. Because there were so many issues I asked for a refund which was finally agreed upon.

The staff was always very nice and attentive, from the first day we got an upgrade to a bigger room and a view to the pool and ocean which was very appreciated, thanks again! The food at breakfast was good and in the evening the buffet was great (we tried the Italian and Portuguese eveinings). Also, I was positively surprised when I received a bottle of Raposeira and a cake in our bedroom for my birhtday, what a lovely attention, thanks again! We also loved the location, the facilities and the private access to the beach!

The only thing I would improve is the decoration in the room and perhaps do some works because some of the equipments are slightly getting old (especially for a 5 star hotel, the standards need to be maintained) :)
