A very comfortable apartment with access to a large swimming pool. Rooms and bathrooms clean. There is a cleaning and towel changing service. The kitchen is well equipped. The place is very quiet, but one of the beaches is also nearby - about 5 minutes walk. You should probably have a car to explore the entire coast. There is a sushi restaurant on site, but there are also other restaurants nearby. Supermarket 5 minutes by car. Generally, a very good place for a holiday.

The living room should be separated from the bedroom by a fixed door, especially when traveling with other people ;-)

Nice and private complex and privacy was good. Castello beach nearby was enjoyable and the restaurant's breakfast wasn't too bad. Our Venue had a lot of light and it was nice to sit and have breakfast on the patio. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped and Firmino was very helpful with all our requests and did what ever he could to try and make us comfortable. Cleaning Staff was very helpful and reception was pleasant.Thank you very much.

The furniture in the unit is a bit dated. TV was small and noisy. The linen on the beds was not of the best standard and as there were only bedspreads on the beds, we had to use the blankets when we got cold and they were old and a bit scratchy. Just convert to duvets guys. Most irritating episode was the guys having a party above us, which only started around 10h30 but carried on to 01h45 in the morning.

The Vila was lovely, clean & comfortable. Loved the shower! The staff were very friendly and approachable. The pool was great. We loved the location, really near Castelo Beach which had a fab café. Easy to get a bus/Taxi into Albufeira. Lots of restaurants and cafe's nearby. It was really good value for money. Kitchen well equipped for a short stay, you might not have everything to bake a cake but essentials are there.

My bed was really hard but I problem solved this by folding up a thick blanket which was provided and putting it under my bedsheet for softness. That worked but I think they ought to get some soft mattress toppers. There is a bit of minor wear and tear but this is to be expected, really little things like the kitchen pedal bin not lifting on pressing the peddle. These things didn't bother us as really minor and the value is so great they were negligible. Privacy on your balcony or garden is limited, the villas are all attached so outside privacy can not be expected. Not a problem though as everyone respected each others space.

Accommodation was basic but very clean with maid service 6 days a week. The garden area was perfect with the communal pool being a decent size. Staff were lovely, location perfect. The only negative was no washing machine which when self catering is something i would expect.

Decor was clean but a bit dated. Could’ve done with a bit of a refurb. Nothing that would stop me from recommending or revisiting but there are lots of competing places close by so to remain competitive I think the owner would benefit from doing this.

located in the quiet area and has 3 amazing beaches within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. we were lucky to stay there off season so it was very quiet the apartment is spacious and free parking available on site

I’d say that for an accommodation with daily room service it wasn’t clean enough and there wasn’t any cleaning products to do the cleaning yourself (there wasn’t even any dishwashing liquid) the flat has all amenities but you can really use them properly only 1 burner works on the hob (and not even all the time) the iron is available but it’s dirty and ruins your clothes, the terrace has ants that did make their way into the house in the end, and when you leave your towels to dry on the drying rack outside they get soaking wet by sprinkles that water the grass in the early morning so definitely room for improvement

A very tidy, smart little villa with space. Our’s (105) was directly by the pool. Everything feels well thought out and benefits from lovely landscaping and architectural style. The staff here could not have been nicer -

The only thing I could mention (although not a big deal for us), was that the beds might be rather firm for some people

We were in a ground floor apartment that led out to the pool via a lovely terrace, which was perfect for us and our little boy. The cot bed that was supplied was great and we slept really well in the main bed too. Kitchen had everything we needed and we were close to shops to stock up for the week. We just happened to ask if there were any beach umbrellas to borrow and they had loads, which was a bonus! Great location for gorgeous beaches, restaurants and as a base for some trips further afield. We loved our week in Vila do Castelo and can't wait to book again for next year!

Location, facilities and air con

The mattress in the rear north facing bedroom looks great but it is very uncomfortable on both sides around the hip area. You might want to check it out.

I loved the location and the helpful staff. It was very clean and comfortable and hany to have a pool as well.

The mattresses were really hard/firm. My back hurt from them. I don't have a bad back.

The location, the pool, the cleanliness, close to beach, very quiet.

No bar/snack bar on site for during the day. The sushi restaurant seemed very popular but might not suit young families.
