No basic amenities like sugar salt paper towels

Great location; cozy and comfortable apartment; possibility to book a shower on the last day, after the check out.

Only premium rooms have a coffee machine. Doesn't make sense in my opinion. We have all the facilities in the kitchen and something so important as a having a coffee in the morning is only given to upgrade rooms.

Location excellent. All the staff were friendly and our room was the best. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine and we had the use of our room until late afternoon, which made our last day very special.

Everything. From check-in to checkout. Very friendly staff everywhere. The apartment was immaculate and the upgrade of them has been worth it. Roof terrace is beautiful and spacious. They even provide pool towels if you need them. Pool area is clean but not large if full to capacity but not everyone uses it as the beach is nearby. Wee snack bar at pool too. Location is perfect as it is in the centre of Alvor so all shops,restaurants and amenities are within short walking distance. Kitchen cleaning supplies are provided. They are also well equipped. Mini toiletries in bathroom if you don't have your own. The showers are spacious and have 2 choices of shower heads. The beds are extremely comfortable and a safe deposit box is provided with your own key (no xtra charge). Balconies are adequate. They have garden level ones which have 2 sunloungers as well as table and chairs. These would be ideal in warmer months as the sun is out early. If you want specific rooms you would need to book in advance as one side is garden view and the other is street view which isn't ideal. Rooms facing pool which is south facing are mainly studios I think but don't quote me on that. We would definitely stay here again. Cleaning every day cept Sunday if you wish. Bed linens are changed in the week too. Lovely atrium full of plants and trees between floors. There are lifts for your convenience too. Overall an excellent holiday experience. We stayed for 3 nights as we had other accommodation beforehand as in timeshare but would definitely stay longer if extending our holiday.

No washing machine in apartment but they do offer a washing service but bit pricey at €10. It's only €5 in other areas.

This is a wonderful location, walk out your front door and you are steps away from all the bars, restaurants and shops. Beaches are walkable and beautiful. The apartment is fully equipped and there is daily clean-up from the hotel staff. I highly recommend this place, it is comfortable and roomy for a family of five adults.

If there is anything I had difficulty with, the beds were tough, not soft, but this is a personal preference. I didn't realize at the time of booking that there is no dishwasher and washing machine, there is laundry for an extra cost. But just a minor hiccup on an amazing trip to Alvor.

The apartment are based right in the centre of Alvor close to the beach and restaurants. We stayed in a first floor garden balcony apartment which was well appointed and large. The room was cleaned most days but any problems they were there to help. Would recommend and return. (Room 106)

The bathroom could just have done with a little bit of attention. Minor leak at the bottom of the shower screen. rusting toilet roll holder. Toilet brush needed cleaning and attention to some of the grout, Nothing that caused any problem or detracted from a wonderful stay.

The property is ideally located near all the amenities in the resort but is quiet and secluded. Able to walk to beach and restaurants easily The layout of the apartment is lovely and is very well equipped Full kitchen utensils and towels changed every day The apartment and pool are immaculate Beds very comfortable Can rent pool towels

Very small thing and it didn’t affect our holiday but a little more clothes storage in bedroom would be nice An iron in the room would be nice also

Our corner apt was good size big bedroom great bathroom Super clean Our patio door didn't lock it was fixed immediately Love the roof terrace maybe 2 more sun beds up there and cushion to lay on would be welcome great library too Cafe downstairs really handy food all staff are nice but special mention to a few Lourdes who works there is so helpful she's an asset and a delight couldn't do enough for us Rosana on reception was very helpful always had a wave everyday Also Claudia was helpful too thankyou look forward to seeing you in September.

Our room was above the cleaners and was awakened early everyday they worked wee bit noisy Unfortunately the sofa was really uncomfortable. Need double beds Bit prices for apt I loved the terrace but maybe a sign to be considerate of others as its a nice quiet area ppl chat quietly which is fine but were some very rude German girls one who read her book aloud for almost an hour even after ppl asked to stop so almost everyone left the terrace so I think some kind of sign would help for sure Can't help ignorant ppl and not the hotels fault but I know hotel takes everything on board.

Absolutely lovely holiday and stay at Alvormar. Everything was pristine. Location central and perfect for us - mix of town and beach. We were on roof terrace, which was gorgeous in the evenings. Bird chorus in the cental palm area was beautiful. Great pool area, with shade and very reasonable cafe. Pool a little small but never overcrowded. Nice garden area too. Overall, it was fantastic and great value. Deserves it's 9+ rating.

Nothing really

Location was so central but yet so quiet. We loved your property for cleanliness, friendly and efficient staff, lovely pool area with plenty of available sun loungers. The roof terrace was a fabulous addition with wonderful views

It would be nice to have shampoo and body lotion supplied for all our stay as in other hotels
