Outstanding breakfast

Would have liked in room coffee maker.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The hotel is the usual, but it is spotless, the breakfast is good, the staff are friendly and helpful, it's in a lovely location, right by the sea, short walk into the main town. The pool area is fabulous, lots of loungers, big pool, very relaxing. The location is also relaxing as it's not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the town but a short pretty walk away. I didn't eat dinner there but breakfast was a good range of fresh food from omelettes made to order, the usual selection of hot food, along with fresh bread, cheeses, pastries, fruit.

The breakfast was excellent and compared well with other hotels The buffet dinner was very good also but we felt the monthly dish of the month which was prawns and monkfish lacked much monkfish in one of the plates Also if you did not want the a la carte options for starter and dessert which were dull it would have been good to have been offered for a cost the desert option from the buffet

Re location we are elderly and it was a fair walk from the town ----how about an occasional mini bus to take people down and pick up later at set times of course Nobody mentioned the Duquesea beach or if it is near ---I would have liked a sea swim

Breakfast was very good ,location is excellent

Some painting work was been carried out in the outside bar area ,but only a minor inconvienience

The staff were very helpful and the rooms were large with great sea views and very clean. Breakfast wasn’t great but they did have a lot to choose from. I recommend the omelettes. 5mins walk to the marina and about 10mins not the town. Stunning little private beach near a stunning building next door to the hotel. See picture I’ve added. Plenty of places to eat and all very friendly people. I recommend Masala (Indian) in the town as the food was beautiful.

They didn’t tell you that the water they put in your room on the table and in little fridge that you actually have to pay for when checking out. It wasn’t a lot but they should at least tell you that it isn’t free.

Close enough to the main town to eat and nice views with a nice beach next to the hotel

Air con unit leaking in the bedroom in room 210 which leaked and wet all my wife’s clothes that she was going to go home in. Also the doors that hide away the kitchen facilities was jammed and couldn’t open. Prices of the beer and drinks was on the expensive side if u spent all day by the pool having a drink. Thought the price of the pool table was expensive and that u had to pay by the hour so when the hotel was full and had big group of party’s in there it was hard to get on and play. Trying to find somewhere to sit was a issue too as the bar area isn’t the biggest and if u wanted to watch the football or the tv it wasn’t easy thinking they need 1 or 2 more around.

location is good, about 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of Cascais but beside the lighthouse and museums. The pool area is lovely and very clean. Our bedroom was a bit dated but comfortable.

Drinks at the pool bar were very expensive. We found a sock belonging to previous customers in the room so not sure how thorough the cleaning is. main areas were spotless however.

We appreciated the large room and the balcony. We also had a sea view. It was an extremely comfortable stay and we would thoroughly recommend staying here. The staff are very courteous, helpful and efficient. The breakfast buffet provided so much choice from fresh fruit, pastries to hot food with a chef cooking eggs on demand. The pool was clean and refreshing. Location is perfect - short 5 min walk to the marina and the museums and a ten minute walk to town. 30mins taxi to Sintra.

We had a minor issue with the room but the manager resolved promptly. Minor issue: The shower tray filled up very quickly and we managed to flood the bathroom until we realised we had to take care. Sometimes there was no room on the sun beds around the pool.

The rooms were spacious, clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was buffet with egg station with good choices. The kids enjoyed the pool and play area. The town centre and beach is about 10 minutes walk. There is a very small beach next to hotel but water level dependents on tide/time of day. The receptoin staff was polite and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily. Transport with Uber was easy. We booked a day trip to Sintra and Lisbon which was excellent.

Wi fi coverage can be variable outside the rooms. No grocery store near by. No free ironing facility. Water bottles not replaced daily.

Really lovely, beautiful area. Nice walk to the center and capo da inferno. Good breakfast. Big room and balcony. Seawiev as wished. Quiet hotel. Nice grass area. The house keeping was really frendly even we didn't share a language.

The birds in the pool!!! Revolting! There was a duck family Living in the garden. And the bird family was swimming in the pool!!! Even with the customers in the pool. I have never seen birds in the pool. And there was quite a bit of bird dropping next to the pool every morning and droppings vanished after the maintenance Came with a hose. My gues is it was flushed to the pool. We saw also a seagull and a pidgeon in the pool. And the birds were also on the tarrace where People ate. The staff saw customers feeding the birds and saw the birds swimming too but did nothing. Don't know about health regulations in Portugal but...Wasn't really tempted to go for a dive!
