Great view overlooking the sea, on the first floor so easy access. Available to get snacks and drinks from 800 to 2300 Buffet breakfast from 800, food selection of fresh fruit, drinks and cooked meats. Reasonably priced Great selection of wine! All staff were friendly and helpful

Not a huge selection in the evening meal choices, and quite expensive for what was offered (spaghetti bol was 12 euros) Only chicken dish was piri piri They do also offer hot breakfast (scrambled egg, beans and meat) but it was not hot. Warm at best, sometimes the cooked meat was cold

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Its a great location and the hotel is charming and old-fashioned but in a very nice way. The breakfast is good value at €8 with everything you could want from fresh fruit, ceral, breads hot eggs and baco, cold cuts and cheese, etc. The showers are hot and everything is very clean. The airport is only 5 minutes away but you don't see or hear the airplanes on Faro Island. Its a great place to go to when you first arrive and to have a few dayas on a great beach. Parking is free too.

The only thing that I would say is the sink cabinet is in a bad state of repair and needs replacing.

There was a guesto shouting and screaming at the top of his voice. Its was very disturbing because we could not tell f someone was a risk nor hear if he had someone in the room or was on the phone. The hotel manager tried to locate the room the noise was coming from and quite a number of guests came out into the corridor whodse sleep was disturbed like us. It went on for about one and a half hours before it stopped. There was a football match and it may have been to do with that, ut we all had our sleep disturbed.

A small, traditional hotel ideally located to the beach; yet a short taxi drive from Faro International Airport. Travel from the hotel to explore Faro city via passenger ferry, bus, or taxi. Staying for longer than an overnight there is more time to discover and explore all that is on offer in this area. Although the information on this site currently writes that breakfast is an option at this hotel it was available with an ample selection in the buffet service of fruit, cheese, ham, breads and seemed to cater for those who are e.g. milk intolerant. The staff were very helpful and friendly ; and despite being very busy got to know ones preferences having stayed for longer than a night or two on route to either the airport or other parts of Portugal. Extras: Sea or Ria Formosa lagoon views from bedrooms, snack bar and restaurant (a great introduction to local food and cuisine; and Portugese wines, apertifs etc) and beautiful sunsets can be appreciated in the local area or in the snack bar, restaurant or on the upstairs terrace.

For the type and standard of the hotel I do not think there could have been improvements! More time there would have been lovely.

Located next to the beach, the hotel has a very nice rooftop and extremely helpful staff. The beds were comfortable, and I appreciated the fruit and bottle of water left in the room. The air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi connection was good.

I was aware from the reviews that the rooms weren't 'modern' and that the furniture and bathroom were dated. However, I would still return as the pros outweigh the cons.

Great location by a nice beach and lagoon. Just a short taxi ride to the airport (under 20 Euro) Good communal spaces and restaurant with views over the lagoon. Our room had a balcony and good aircon OK breakfast.

We have stayed a few times at the Aeromar because of its excellent location close to the airport and its great position by the beach and the lagoon. However, it is quite tired and needs a good spruce up, which might put some people off.

Great place just beach front. I stayed 2 days with my two years old and it was really good to get in and out. Also, they have a great and delicious restaurant that faces the river and the airport, my son loved having his meals there and watching the planes taking off. I can’t forget to mention that the staff were really friendly, specially Vina , she was always really nice with me and son . Made the difference. I will return next year for sure.

It's an excellent 3-star hotel just next to the sea. It is true it's not new, but there is its charm! Loved the old real wood furniture and the general homey atmosphere. The restaurant is great, even a bit cheaper than the outside, but has an excellent terrace - facing the river, but really fresh in the second half of the day. (if you ever grow tired of seafood, try chicken with piri piri - it was delicious!) Btw, you can ask for plage towels and umbrellas.

If your balcony faces the parking - it might be a bit loud. The mattresses were real jumpy.

Located right across the street from the sea with a view from the balcony. An amazing beach steps from the door. Very pleasant helpful staff. Many restaurants steps away from hotel.

It is an older facility and while clean, it is dated. However, given the beachfront location, , it is a trade off I would make again. It can be a little noisy as the only road passes right out front

Was looking for something last minute in the region. Staff were really nice. I'm sure the location is good for a beach holiday. I had to leave early the next morning so basically just booked in and slept.

Unfortunately there was a bad smell from the bathroom and the whole place smelled of cigarette smoke. It was clean but very dated and the A/C was programmed to the lowest level by management.
