Lovely location on the hill, very clean, fantastic breakfast (starts at 8:30) with very nice view of the valley. We decided to have dinner there and both the menu and the service was really good. Very close to Lamego. Rita and her staff had been always very attentive to any request. This place is very peaceful and quiet and it is a great value for the money. It's a pity we didn't have more days to spend there

The only details where a weak internet in room #5 (upper floor) due to the thick walls and that the room on ground floor, where my parents slept, had not much privacy as the windows face a main path to the restaurant and parking lot and people can look inside passing by.

Exceeded my expectations! This stay was the best part of our vacation. The room was clean and with very comfortable beds. We lacked nothing. The Quinta was great - a perfect place to rest and walk in nature. Around us there were both vineyards and many fruit trees from which you could pick organic fruits and enjoy them. We had the opportunity to dine at the farm and the food was beyond superb. The service too. The pool was great, clean. There was also a parking slot for our car. Thank you very much for the wonderful welcome and our unforgettable stay!

Very picturesque place, with an intimate and cozy atmosphere, where time passes by very beautifully. The nature all around is very scenic, you can take a short walk through their vineyards and enjoy the view. Everything is bigger in reality than in the pictures, very appreciated that they provided a 16m length swimming pool and a hard court tennis court. Delicious food, very kind and attentive staff, with tasty wines and homemade jams. Common living room with stylish old school and chic furniture, where you cand enjoy a cup of tea in a nice view. Very enjoyable stay!

Although our stay was short, as we were traveling for work, we left Quinta da Timpeira with a strong desire to return. Everything was impeccable, with details of excellent good taste. Breakfast is served in a room with stunning views.

Water pressure in the shower was very low. That was the only detail that can (could) be improved. Everything else was amazing.

The sheaf's dinner (the extra) was delicious. The location was very good, very beautiful, in front of their own vineyard. It has two peasant places to sit outside the rooms. All the staff, our hostess Ms. Rita Parente and her help Nara were very nice and helpful. Ms. Parente gave us helpful advice where to go, instructions of how to get there, and made us reservation.

It's very easy to miss the entrance to the road leading to the Quinta. Be attentive the little sign. The bed mattress was too stiff, and we felt the springs in our back.

Best breakfast we've had on our trip so far - excellent meat/cheese/cereal selection, and eggs to order. Beautiful views. Staff was very accommodating. I was able to sit in the common area with my computer - loved the fireplace in the evenings. Lamego is a beautiful little town, and close enough to easily visit for dinner.

Common area was cold in the mornings. Staff offered to do laundry without showing us the price list first - it ended up being somewhat expensive - but that was also my fault for not asking. Had we known in advance we would have found a laundromat.

This place was awesome, it had everything we expected and more. Excellent staff that took care of us, the facilities were awesome , the pool was very nice and with a very nice view. The rooms were big enough and the beds were very comfy. The breakfast was awesome and everything was delicious.

The acces to the place Is quite tricky for motorcycles.

This property is absolutely amazing, the staff especially near are so kind and helpful. It is so peaceful and safe which was very important for myself and my motorcycle. The food was outstanding and would 100% recommend the place. Unfortunately being fron Wales in the UK its a little bit to far for a weekend away 😕

A super cozy 2-night-stay in the Quinta. 5 minutes drive from Lamego village and a well pathed entrance to the Quinta. We love the atmosphere here, very well decorated with super nice shower and comfortable bed. Staff are always helpful and friendly. We had dinner here both night. Nice dishes, service, red wine & port wine. A very enjoyable stay in Douro Valley.

Bathroom is a bit damp. Swimming pool wasn’t open in early April, which wasn’t marked on Booking.com. A bit disappointed.

The staff and owner went above and beyond. A tour of a local winery was arranged for us when we showed an interest. We had to leave early on the last day and a packed breakfast was offered and provided. Everyone was really friendly. A bowl of fresh cherries was placed in our room on one day. Bed's were comfortable and bathroom facilities were good. We took the evening meal option which exceeded expectations. Would return.

I think we didn't take full advantage of the bar service, we only realised on the last day that it was available. No loss but could have added to our stay.
