The Charm Flats are superbly located in the heart of Lisbon and well positioned to walk to many of the city’s attractions. Our stay was terrific and made all the better with the assistance of Isabell in the Charm Flats office. The room was on the top floor, offering a panoramic view of the city from an extensive balcony with comfortable seating. The rooms were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities you could want. This apartment was extremely affordable and provided great value for money considering its location.

The only difficulty we encountered was the lack of an elevator. However, Isabell arranged for our bags to be carried down to the garage on the morning of our departure. Problem solved!

Our flight was delayed to late evening, so the hosts emailed us a door code. They were very communicative, though we never actually met them. The studio was delightful - just as shown in the photographs. We particularly liked the balcony overlooking the park. It's a fairly quiet part of town, but within easy walking distance of the Avenida Metro station. A bonus was that the apartment was serviced every second day - something we hadn't anticipated.

There is no elevator and the flat is on the top floor of 4, so there are 8 relatively steep and narrow flights of stairs to lug your baggage up. The last of the 8 is even narrower and steeper....

Top, top location. Perfect for a start point to every tourist attraction in Lisbon. As one of our tour guiders said the main boulevard nearby is the most even place in the city. Really liked the accommodation, had everything that you will need-hot water, air-conditioning, comfortable bed, etc. The terrace was really nice for a morning coffee and made the place much bigger than the usual flats that are rented. We checked-in quite easily in the evening. Will definitely recommend it. The staff is polite and helpful. Overall People in Lisbon are great!!!! You will love it.

Nothing that could ruin my positive feeling

The apartment was great and I hardly can imagine a better location. Avenida metro station was even closer than I had expected and it feels like there are so many great places within 10-15 minutes walking distance. Communication with the Charm Flats team was great and they cleaned the flat more frequently than I was led to believe. If I decide to travel to Lisbon again in the future this is certainly the first place I will check for availability.

The sinks (bathroom and kitchen) look great, but squares just aren’t the greatest shape when you’re trying to rinse them out. The same general idea applies to the fridge. Looked fun, worked kind of but no matter the setting it never seemed to reach quite the right temperature. Too cold or not cold enough.

Loved the property, rooms have aplenty of space and comfy bed even the sofa bed was comfy. Very close to everything the little park across the street had great drinks and snacks. And plenty of places to eat within walking distance.

Only downfall no elevator but it wasn’t awful

So happy we decided to stay at this apartment for our stay in Lisbon. As first time visitors in Lisbon we have really enjoyed our stay in the apartment and the location is the best we could have found. Very close to Metro station (35 min journey from airport) although taxi is also very cheap (9-12 Euro) Taxi trip - Oceanario 8.5 Euro - Belem 10 Euro I would recommend anyone to make the orange Hop on to Caiscais (~2.5 hours way return with really nice views (bus top level recommended) (Belem is also on that route - definetely half day visit - some museums and Navy Planetarium close early) Everything else on foot. We've chosen the top floor apartment for the terrace and nice park view, a pleasure to take morning coffees. Apartment is east / south east facing so it gets the perfect sun. Apartment is well equipped with dishes, glasses, cuttlery and even some pots so you can make easily a quick breakfast or even a nice dinner. Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle (we even got some coffee to start the day) Being at top floor in a converted attic the ceiling might be a bit low for some at the serving counter. (Not a big issue and expected) As per property description we expected to climb the stairs up to the apartment level, might be a bit difficult with big luggages but really doable. We didn't had any issues with the hot water for showers, good pressure and high temperature for water. The kitchen tap is a bit difficult to set at a pleasant temperature but not a big deal. Room with air conditioning, TV, very nice blackout curtains, perfect hard bed and extra pillows and duvet, iron, ironing board and a very good hair dryer 🙂 Easy check in / check out. Most designers shops and city center within walking distance.

The property was located in a very central location, everything was close by and the park right in front of it was a nice added bonus. The apartment has an amazing balcony and the view is beautiful. They had everything you could need in the kitchen from pots and pans to dinnerware, a coffee machine, toaster etc…

We stayed at the very last apartment, there is no elevator and the stairs were so steep it was hard coming in and out with baby stroller, it gets very hot up there as well and the ac doesn’t do much unless you are sitting directly under it.

We were given the code to the front do which also worked easily on front door and room door. This is a great idea as we didn't have to think about keys as we closed the door. The property is really modern and decor is slightly unusual but very pleasant and cosy. The layout is unusual but does have plenty of space. The apartment we had included two queen beds in separate rooms and two other rooms both with divans that are big enough to be beds. There are two modern bathrooms and a small kitchen but no clothe washing facilities in the apartment. The property is close to restaurants and Metros and Funicular. It is an easy walk to Av. de Liberdade which takes you straight down to the main areas of Lisbon.

There isn't a lift. This is a big drawback if you have heavy suitcases. Our rooms were up a number of flights of stairs and I am not sure I could have managed without the help of my family. The building is also a bit noisy at times. No traffic noise, but footsteps from room above and the stariwell woke us a couple of times when guests arrived late or left early in the morning.

Surprise upgrade to terrace! its beautiful! interconnected rooms with 2 toilets, great Good location, didn't mind the little uphill climb to the property as I like walking, others might struggle luggage storage, good wifi, friendly staff when finally catch them in person, make sure you have the door code to get access.

The location is great, it has a nice garden in front of the building. It's right behind the corner of Liberty Avenue and very close to downtown. The apartments are very cozy and stylish. As a music lover, I was amazed with the Marshall fridge and stylish switches 🙂 and, of course, Marshall bluetooth speaker in our bedroom (I hope the neighbors didn't mind the loud music 😁) The apartmant was very well equipped with all the amenities. The staff was very polite and friendly. They provided us with extra coffee capsules for coffee machine for the whole stay 😁 As it is not a hotel, I didn't know and expect, they will clean our room and provide us with new towels, as we were only for three nights, so that was a big PLUS. Some people may find it important: the apartment is equipped with iron and iron table and hairdryer. Also, there is no classic wardrobe closet, but open hanger, but it also works. I read some reviews complaining about the narrow and steep stairs when you handle big luggage, but I think it wasn't a big thing. But for those reviewers, maybe you should think about putting some luggage lift (platform) in the middle of the staircase 🙂

Nothing to mention, maybe the not so comfortable sofa. Everything else was exceptional. Keep going guys! 🙂
