I recently stayed at Chiado Arty Flats with my family, and I can’t recommend it enough! We were two couples and two teenagers, and we stayed in the penthouse, which was absolutely perfect for our group. The apartment features two suites (one for each couple), a loft space with two beds for the teenagers, and an additional full bathroom in the living room — everything we needed for a comfortable stay. As an interior designer, I was particularly impressed by the thoughtful design of the space. The penthouse was beautifully decorated with unique and artsy furniture pieces made from unconventional materials, in keeping with the property’s creative vibe. And the view! The panoramic sight of the city and the piazza in front of the building was just breathtaking. But the penthouse is just the beginning of what makes Chiado Arty Flats so special. Here are a few other things that made our stay unforgettable: - Location: The property is situated in Chiado, one of the most charming neighborhoods in Lisbon, and is within walking distance of just about everything. You truly couldn’t ask for a better location in the city. - Concierge Service: The concierge team, especially Paul and Catarina, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I accidentally left behind two items — a prescription pair of glasses and an AirPods case — after I’d already left Lisbon. The team arranged to have them shipped to me in Italy with great care and prompt communication. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out. - Breakfast: We had the most wonderful breakfast together as a family. The staff brought everything directly to our apartment and even accommodated our dietary restrictions. We gathered around the large glass dining table in the penthouse, enjoying a beautiful spread and making lasting memories in such a cozy, artsy space. I wholeheartedly recommend Chiado Arty Flats for your stay in Lisbon. Exceptional service, unique design, and perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay as a family with a newborn in this accommodation. Everything was perfect starting with the great communication with the reception, the really spacious and clean apartment with big terrace and the fresh breakfast service to the room in the mornings. Also they arranged a baby cot which eventually was not needed, but looked really comfortable. Reception was super friendly and always on top to help. Location is absolutely stunning as you are basically in the middle of all the buzz of the city yet you dont hear any outside noise. Big plus for us was the free parking in front of the house, but this is subject to availability - so i guess we have been lucky this time :)

If I would want to find something I could say that the place is not 100% accessible due to a couple of (high) steps before reaching the elevators. But hey - you are in Lisbon so those few extra steps dont really matter :)

This property is in a excellent location. There is a tram that runs past the property that you can catch to get to other trams, or just take a short walk down the hill to the train station and also the metro station, to buy your daily passes and also catch transportation there. We booked the 1 bedroom apartment and were given unit D on the 3rd floor. The wife and I could easily live in the apartment. Very roomy and cozy with a balcony. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Catarina, mgr, does a fantastic job arranging everything to make you feel at home. Her response to our e mails asking various questions was quick and helpful. Breakfast was very good and delivered to our unit. You are given various times to have your breakfast delivered. Location is really good to many of the local sites, and as I said before, the tram runs past the property so you can utilize it also to get around. Also, at night the outside area is very quiet there, and safe with many restaurants to choose from. We would defiantly stay here again. Great price for what you get in return, a home away from home.

We stayed here for 9 days and it was hands down one of the best experiences we have ever had. Tomas and his staff were incredibly communicative, accommodating, and friendly, setting up a pack and play for our toddler, and always willing to answer any questions and provide sightseeing recommendations. The room itself was beautiful, with a well-equipped kitchen, small stove, microwave, and fridge - perfect for us to cook most nights and make food for our toddler. We had breakfast included with our stay, and it was delivered every morning at a pre-agreed time and had a delicious variety of things. Having an elevator was a godsend, especially with a stroller. The location was unmatched - we were in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods in Lisbon with easy access to transportation and to any sightseeing we wanted to do. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and we hope to!

Fantastic experience with hospitality from all the staff, extremely well kept and very spacious rooms that are designed tastefully. Better than staying in any star hotel if you are in Lisbon. Easy to commute from here. Everything about this place was fantastic. We would recommend this place to everyone and will come back here on our next trip to Lisboa. Thank you for a very memorable stay to Paulo and Tomas in particular.

Lighting for the evening could be just a little bit more brighter and not a problem in the day time as there are plenty of windows. Having hair conditioner in the washrooms would be nice. Nothing else.

Highly recommended. This is in a very central location, walkable to so many things. There are lots of restaurants and a great gelato place within a 5-10 min walk. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Special thank you to Paul for his kindness and recommendations. It was so nice to have the extra space and not just a hotel room. There is a full table and a seating area. There is a kitchen area, and although we didn't do any cooking, it was nice to have the microwave and the refrigerator. And the breakfast was so much food delivered to your room. There was scrambled eggs, bacon, ham and cheese. Along with a variety of croissants and bread. Orange juice, milk and coffee. I highly recommend Chiado Arty Flats. It is such a good value. The Portuguese people are so friendly.

As soon as we arrived, a little early on the morning of March 28th, Paulo was very welcoming and extremely helpful and made sure that our room was ready as soon as possible. We also appreciated his advice in regard to our location and things to do. His technical advice regarding our Sim card and ways to get around was very appreciated. The breakfast in our room was delicious and much more than we expected. Finally on the day of our departure , April 1rst , we were also helped by the two attendants at the front desk by giving us quite a send-off.. The service, the location, the breakfast, the cleaning staff, the comfortable bed and the professional desk attendants made our stay at Chiado Arty Flats a very enjoyable experience.

Our family of 5 stayed in the superior penthouse room. It had a 2 queens rooms with en suite bathrooms, and then a loft that had 2 twins (up steep stairs), perfect for kids. There was also a full bathroom on the main level for the loft to use. It was a big living space with couch seating for 6+, dining table for 6+, a small outdoor terrace, and nice size kitchen. A delicious breakfast is delivered to your room every day - croissants, other pastries, yogurt, fruit, milk, juice, eggs, meat, etc. The staff was beyond helpful with our bags, dining and exploring suggestions, and making us feel welcome. We were able to use one of the spaces in front of the hotel to park our rental car for no additional cost. The location can't be beat, restaurants all around, easy access to the other areas of Lisbon, and easy access to the train station. Stairs are involved in all of these because it is Lisbon but an easy walk for Lisbon standards. :)

The AC kept things comfortable but not cool. It was extremely hot the days that we were there but it seemed the AC couldn't keep up.

The location is absolutely perfect. I can't imagine a better place to be. So many restaurants, bars, cafes and wonderful views within a 5 minute walk. But not loud and the accommodation was incredibly peaceful. The staff were also amazing. They went above and beyond to help me organize a transfer to a wedding an hour outside of the city. Breakfast was delivered every morning and was more than enough for our family and had great variety.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it but worth mentioning that the décor is quirky and unique if that sort of thing bothers you. (For example, our room had chairs and couches made from recycled tubing and a sink made from a recycled automotive lubricant barrel).

Great, well-equipped studio apartment (with high ceilings) in terrific location to walk everywhere, yet bus and streetcars on the same street. Scenic lookout over Lisbon and funicular a very short walk away, making access to the Metro a snap. Very comfortable KING-sized/180 bed. Super owners and staff who couldn’t have been more accommodating or friendly. Huge, tasty breakfast delivered to your apartment - they even request you let them know if you want more or less of something to fine-tune to your tastes. Huge windows letting light in, yet with shutters for complete darkness should you wish it. Mini-split allowing you A/C or heat. Right on a very hip and busy street with a view of interesting buildings, perfect for checking out the goings-on, yet close the windows and experience solid quiet. Shower/shampoo gel with lovely aroma. Cafe and plaza right out front, adjacent to a landmark church. So many restaurants everywhere nearby.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.
