It was perfect except for the fact that we felt completely let out down by being told upon arrival that the spa wasn't open. The 3 reasons I chose the hotel was luxury, location and spa. Luxury and location were great. I felt a little bit deceived and cheated by being told only on arrival that it was not open. It really impacted on an otherwise great experience.

Beautiful pool, amazing breakfast and friendly staff make this a fantastic choice for a city break. About a twenty five minute walk to the centre if you’re reasonably fit (and uphill coming back), but the walk is worth it. You can buy a viglen ticket from a machine at any of the stations and then load it with however much money you might need - you can always load more later - cheap and efficient way of getting around on metro and trains. We had a wonderful week in this amazing city and the hotel was a fantastic place to come back to at the end of a day’s exploration!

Amazing hospitality from everyone on the staff, taking ownership and proactiveness in spoiling its clients :) Probably the best breakfast offered among many other more popular brands, great chefs and service. Very comfortable rooms adequately soundproofed that gave us the best sleep and energy to explore the city during the day. I wish we could take advantage of the pool or saunas, but hopefully next time.

I think it would be fair to advertise the non-availability of the pool and wellness facilities for the duration of the stay to the clients before they make the purchase. I understand everything requires maintenance but then this should be stated accurately on all booking providers.

Breakfast was sensational and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was one of quality. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel was spotless everywhere. The rooftop pool/bar was a lovely/unique feature and a lovely way to relax. We also loved the location and would recommend a walk in the park over the road to the viewing platform and a lovely little bar on the far side of the park.

There was an alarm test/incident affecting at least 3 floors which caused me to descend 10 flights of stairs. I understand these things happen but it was slightly chaotic and nobody in reception seemed to know anything about it.

I had asked for connecting rooms which wasn't available upon check in so they upgraded us to a suite which was nice. Also, I had a car which needed a parking space and the hotel provided me with one, free of charge, included with the suite. Breakfast was good with decent options and the spa was also outrageously good.

I didn't like the water bottles in the room which were glass bottles. Fine if you are alone but not great if you have kids running around. Also, always run out of water but that's an issue you have with every other hotel.

Good location. Close to the metro and walking distance to the city center. Staff is very friendly and take the time for a conversation. They do their best to help. Everything runs like clockwork. We had a circuit breaker trip and the maintenance guy was there in minutes to fix it. Good view of Lisbon from the rooftop pool. Great breakfast. So much choice, you want to try everything.

The only con was that the carpet had a big stain. If they had that cleaned the hotel would have been perfect. I do recommend the hotel though. It was just our room.

Lovely hotel. Very well maintained and excellent housekeeping. Rooms cleaned to a very high standard with all items fully replenished each day. Had a very comfortable stay, would definitely return next time in Lisbon. Lovely welcome gifts left in room on first night (bottle of wine and patisseries) with chocolates each night thereafter. Wonderful roof top pool with gorgeous views of the city. Excellent location close to the shopping district and easy to get around to the old town and river. Lovely lounge and bar area and huge breakfast selection with lots of variety. Lovely and helpful staff.

It can be hard to get a sun lounger by the pool on occasion. It’s a small area in comparison to the size of the hotel and number of guests, but we travelled in peak season and managed ok for the majority of the time.

They didn’t give us much info at check-in regarding breakfast times, checkout times and what was available in the hotel. Also, the Koji Japanese restaurant was closed and this was one of the main reasons for selecting this hotel over another. Also, there was loud music at a venue nearby which kept us awake for a couple of the nights we were there with repetitive bass. We also paid for a couples massage which was supposed to include snacks but we didn’t receive them

The hotel is in a lovely and easily accessible location. I absolutely loved my stay there; the breakfast was lovely and the room was so comfortable and clean at all times,. I went to Lisbon with no concrete itinerary but the staff helped with recommendations, they have a special desk to help clients with suggestions and bookings so that made my stay very worthwhile. All facilities are as stated online. Definitely worth the price for a 5 star hotel. Great staff, I highly recommend.
