Great bathrooms with lots of privacy! Staff was amazing and organised nice activities. Breakfast with pancakes was very good.

The curtains on the bed were a bit short. My bed was by the door and people could still see me when they walked into the room. The people staying in the hostel were not super social, but that’s ofc not the hostel’s fault :)

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious - I was in the one with just 4 girls and we had our own bathroom. I was able to sleep the entire day in the privacy and comfort of my bunk, after a ton of traveling. The staff prepares hearty meals and snacks in the evening and it’s all free. I didn’t have a chance to go on an organized tour but there’s a free one for Lisbon, pub crawls, and one you can pay for going to Sintra.

Can’t think of anything except the lockers are pretty small. But there’s ample room for luggage on the floors.

Got upgraded from a 10-bed to a 6-bed room which I was very grateful for and a pleasant surprise. The place has a very homey feel, the staff and everyone that stays here are so friendly. The free breakfast is great value, with ham, cheese, bread, croissants, cereal, fruit and freshly made pancakes all available. Occasionally late night snacks like ham and cheese toasties are left out too. The room I was in was very spacious, clean and the temperature was very cold. Bathrooms were very clean.

There are no lifts in the hostel, so you get a cheeky leg workout when you go upstairs upon checking in.

Location is close to the metro, making it easy to reach any part of the city quickly. Very clean! Everything is spotless — even the blankets are freshly cleaned (which is rare in other hostels). High-speed internet works perfectly throughout the hostel. The air conditioning works great. The beds are comfortable! The people here are very friendly and warm — it creates a welcoming atmosphere. I really enjoyed my stay.❤️🥰🫶

Just a small thing: there’s no big sign outside, so it was a bit hard to find the hostel the first time. I really wish there was a moka pot for coffee ☕️ I didn’t really like the coffee from the coffee machine. Other than that, everything was great!

Loved my dorm, very spacious and the beds felt like they had a lot of privacy. Excellent breakfast included, full cooking facilities, and daily bonuses (like free ice cream or tapas). Helpful staff with tons of recommendations for things to do in Lisbon, near Lisbon and across Portugal. Easy access just a few minutes from a major metro station.

The common spaces are rather small and dispersed across five rooms, and they close most of them quite early (e.g. the terrace closes at 8pm). There are also some weird rules about where and when you can use a laptop. The kitchen, though large, has a poor layout for the breakfast rush.

My stay at Lisboa Central Hostel was the perfect introduction to staying in hostels! The staff were amazing and super friendly - always available to help with anything you need and provide great recommendations of things to do in Lisbon! The facilities were great - lots of space to chill in the hostel and I never had trouble with getting a shower or bathroom. The hostel also had some great social events on every day - lots of free options and some paid - I would definitely recommend the free walking tour when you do stay, a great way to see Lisbon ☺️ Overall no real complaints and definitely set my hostel expectations up high!

The door in and out of the room was quite loud if people were leaving early or arriving late …

I've been travelling around Europe for 35 days and so far it's the best hostel I've ever stayed. The girl at the reception is soooo cute and she showed me around every corner of the place. The vibe and atmosphere is amazing. 6 mixed room is spacious. AC is good. There's a cook in the kitchen and there's allllllways free food all day long（besides the breakfast). She will invite everyone not to miss it. Pasta, tapas, bifana, soup………daily dish is different and each is delicious. When I check-out, the cook even remembered me and said goodbye to me. I will definitely miss this place. And they have different activity to join in every day.

It was one of the best hostels I have been, especially considering what I paid and I was really surprised for good. The room was cozy and nice looking and overall I felt good and safe staying there in all its environments. The reception guys on the first day were very nice and warmly welcomed me but all the other reception staff was very nice. If I return to Lisbon (and I hope I will, I would go back to this hostel if I will want to save money). The breakfast was very good even though I didnt have much time to enjoy it as I had to leave early for a training. When I would go at the kitchen during evenings, there was always free food around prepared by the staff which was also a very nice surprise. Overall the place was quite nice to stay and I would definitely recommend. Ah it was also quite clean around. All I needed from a hostel, this place had it. Forgot, also the location was great, 5min was the metro and right in the center. And neighbourhood was feeling safe for when I came back late. Reception I was informed was 24h and found them always there.

Well it has not to do with the hostel but other inconsiderate people who were living there. People would come late, see the lights of the room off and still take their sweet time in the shower and drying their hair. Please dont do that,if you see your roommates have turned off the lights, let them rest ffs. But with a good pair of headphones your solution can be fixed and you can enjoy all the other benefits of staying at this very nice place.

We only stayed at this hostel for a day and a half, but we really enjoyed our brief stint here. The hostel is a 5/ 10 minute Metro ride away from most major attractions in Lisbon (the Praça do Comercio, the Alfama and Bairro Alto districts etc). The staff were incredibly friendly and affable, and the free breakfast is elaborate, fresh and delicious! The room itself was spacious and clean. Overall- if you’re looking for a hostel in Lisbon, can’t recommend this highly enough!

Staff were EXCELLENT - super friendly, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was good - a good spread of food. Hostel common areas / amenities were splendid - various types of spaces to hang out in and enjoy either alone or with other hostelites. Location very convenient - a short 20-25min walk from the city centre, and right next to major bus stops and a metro station. Our room was very clean overall, and thankfully my bunk mates were all very quiet and respectful (I was in a 4-person female dorm). Would definitely recommend and come back again!

The communal bathrooms could be cleaner (wet floors, hair on ground). Location could be _slightly_ closer (by walking) to the city centre?? But honestly it wasn't a big deal at all. Perhaps a slightly earlier breakfast (say, 7am) to accommodate those who have tours starting at 8am in other parts of the city (to allow for time to walk to the starting location, which is usually in the city centre). That said, the staff did their very best to make an exception and provide an earlier-ish breakfast when I requested - which I truly deeply appreciate!!
