⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Me and my father stayed at “Esqina Cosmopolitan Lodge” and we could not be any more satisfied and we love it! It’s a rather small, five story cosy hotel with a personal atmosphere. It has everything you could wish for and more. It has a restaurant, a bar, a two story terrace, 24-hour reception, elevator, wi-fi, airport transfer and much more. The staff is very attentive, supernice and helpful. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable the air conditioning keeps the room cool and the blackout curtains keep the room dark for a good night’s sleep. The room also has a desk, a TV, a water cooker and more. The view from our room on the fifth floor was very nice with an overlook of the historical “Castelo de S. Jorge”. The breakfast was nice (the scrambled eggs and bacon was really delicious), the food was outstanding and the cocktails were really good as well. The terrace is a nice place to have a drink or coffee or just spend time relaxing or talking to each other. The location is absolutely PERFECT!! It’s only a few minute walk to the shore, to the busiest streets of the “Old Town” as well as many popular tourist attractions, historical and cultural sites and other experiences. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anybody and everybody!

The room was clean and very beautifull with minimal decor and beautiful tiles. The shower was wonderfull. There were curtains and you good really darken the room when sleeping and the room was very silent. Personel of the hotel was really helpfull and nice. Breakfast is quite simple but good and with everuthing one needs, salty and sweet goods. Location is excellent. I would absolutely stay here again, I enjoyed the room.

Maybe in summer the terrace in the inner courtyard might get noisy. At winter it was empty. During breakfast it would have been nice to explain that one can order eggs and warm things, I saw another person doing it so I ordered too, even of the person serving did not say anything about it. A mini fridge wood be nice for water and so (they said they will put one later un the future). I saw only one silver fish insect but I suppose every old building has some. The room is cleaned every day so it is not about hygiene.

The location was very close to the city centre (conveniently right next to Elevador do Castelo), the staff was very polite and helpful, and the terrace was the perfect place to have a drink at the end of the day. The room was relatively small but very clean, and had everything you would need (hair dryer, toiletries, safe, luggage rack). The internet connection is also excellent, as I had to take a video call with no connection issues! I would definitely recommend staying here, thank you for a lovely experience!

The room was a bit small but nothing out of the ordinary for a city such as Lisbon!

The staff members were wonderful. They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was ideal; it was a short walk to many restaurants and if you are connecting to a cruise, the port is a short taxi ride away; our taxi fare was slightly less than 10 Euros.

When you leave the hotel I strongly suggest that you use the public elevator located on Rua Magdelana about 25 meters to the right on the same side as the hotel to search for restaurants and shopping because the hotel is situated at the peak of Rua Magdelana; it is a steep hill decline in either direction left or right.

The staff and Esqina Team are professional, always ready to help with smiles, very friendly in a way that makes you comfortable and settled in quickly especially traveling from the US. Location is perfect for us. Ideal for the sites(mostly walkable) and the metro is close. You can Uber to the Sta Apolonia station is €4 for example. So many good Restaurants around (price $-Bifanas to $$$ Taverna Alfacinha). Wifi is great, we know coz we stayed at 45(4th floor) and 24(2nd floor). Windows/doors are really good quality that it does not bother us being next to a busy street. I think the management and staff is the best to like about this place.

Staff friendly and helpful. Very attentive. Loved the enviro friendly. Great bar. Enjoyed 2 terracez to relax. Have a cocktail. Room 414 was nice and had great view with small balcony. Location was great to access tge baixa and alfama and port. Art was enjoyable. Would recommend highly.

Whilee one of the larger rooms. It was a little crowded with a loveseat. I would have liked a cold buffer only breakfast option. 20 Eu was a bit steep. Food was very good.

Location is perfect. For me, 3 things make a great hotel room; the bed, the shower and the TV. And all 3 are perfect in this hotel - the shower is lovely and hot and powerful. The bed is very, very comfy. WIFI also good. We had breakfast on our last morning and it was nice although I think a bit pricey compared with what you can get from some restaurants down the road. Would definitely stay here again if looking for a good hotel in Lisbon.

Nothing at all.

Nice clean room right in the center of Alfama district surrounded by good restaurants. Room was really small, but bed was comfy with a view of the street and castle, and had a small walkout. Private bath with small 1 person elevator. Breakfast was 20e pp/day, so we skipped for a nice small coffee/pastries shop a few doors down.

Shower was out in the open next to the sink so no privacy in the room. Also the shower had no door, so it was very cold when showering, and mirror/tv/windows steamed up. Never experienced this before.

What I liked the most was the staff! Every person was so welcoming and friendly. The people make the difference!! The room is small but everything was clean and comfortable!

Just two small suggestions. We wanted to use the safe that is provided in the room but literally had to lie on the floor to be able to read the instructions. So perhaps you could provide an instruction card and just sit it on a shelf above. Secondly, no face cloths were provided. I like to wash my face so needed those. 😊
