Location is the best :)

I would say housekeeping services. During my stay, I experienced some services from the housekeepers that didn’t meet the expected standards. for instance, missing one of bathrobes in the room. forgot to refill some empty amenities (shampoo). At first we didn’t want to bring it up because we think it don’t a big issue. However, after we had checked out. we received a message from hotel informing us that housekeepers found that we consumed items from mini bar (which we did not) It makes us feel uncomfortable with this claim. We understand that mistake can happen, we don’t want to make it as a complain but hope it will be a room for improvement. Overall, we did have a good time in your hotel everything is nice and memorable :)

From the moment we arrived the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The hotel was really well located with great views of the city, which the pool overlooked and was great to pop into for a swim after a long day of sightseeing.

Very little to fault, but you aren't allowed glasses by the pool. It would have been lovely to sit in the pool and have a drink looking out at the view and I noticed their other location has plastic glasses for the pool.

The property and location are fantastic! The room was very well appointed and had lovely views of the city skyline, however a little on the small side compared to other rooms we had throughout Portugal. Still very comfortable and had everything we needed - they left delicious chocolates and a nice welcome cocktail kit in our room - classy touch!

The carpets in the hallways need to be replaced, very stained and not representative of the rest of the property. Service on the patio was slow during shift transitions and we ended up not receiving our entire order - this was resolved, but again not expected at a 5* hotel.

The Memmo Principe Real is a wonderful hotel, neatly tucked away in a great part of the city. From the moment you enter the lobby you know that you are somewhere a bit special. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful, without being over-attentive, and the hotel itself is modern and inviting. Everywhere was so clean and well maintained. The outdoor pool and terrace overlook part of Lisbon, and are both ideal for relaxing, or just having a snack or drink and taking in the view and ambiance. The restaurant is beautifully furnished and decorated and the food choices and quality are excellent. Breakfast is superb! Our bedroom, with a very big bed, was perfect. Doors opened out onto a small private patio, within a larger terraced garden. There was a large modern en-suite area in the room, which could be closed off by a sliding room divider, with sink and walk-in shower. There was a separate toilet and walk-in wardrobe/storage area too. The area in which the hotel is situated is interesting, with shops and restaurants a short walk away although, a word of warning, it is high up on one of the hills on which Lisbon is built, and there are a lot of steps to negotiate on the way down (or back up!) from the other parts of the city or the river. Of course, you could always just take one of the many Tuk Tuk taxis that are everywhere and save your legs. Anyway, we loved every minute of our stay and would certainly recommend the hotel.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The food was excellent with a great choice of fresh produce at breakfast. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing which in my experience is rare in hotel restaurants.All members of staff around the hotel were very engaging and helpful, especially front desk.

Very hard to find anything negative.

we absolutely loved the location of this hotel. It was tucked away , high on a hill over looking Lisbon, but easily accessible to the whole city. You could set out in the morning and wander many different ways down into the heart of Lisbon and then when ready, could avail yourself of many different modes of transportation up the hills if you were too tired to mount up the steep climb. We took the tram, the vernacular and the always exciting tuk tuk to return to the calm and quietness of this beautiful hotel.

In short, NOTHING !

A gorgeously designed hotel with modern rooms, a wonderful bar/restaurant and pool area with a spectacular view of Lisbon. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a lovely area (as is the other Memmo Hotel is Alfama which I visited for a meal.)

I was not a huge fan of the steps in the bedroom to get to the bathroom at night. In some small cases it seems they sacrificed practicality for cool design, but this did not detract from a lovely stay.

Room was slightly small but you are paying for the location which was superb. The room although small was well laid out and comfortable. The balcony area was shared but we were there at a quiet time so no one else was out on the terrace. Either way it didn’t matter as we mostly spent time on the bar terrace and out in the local area. The staff were very helpful and welcoming.

The pool was small but again being a city centre hotel hard to get anything bigger. It was good though and warm when the sunshine was on it. Overall the size wasn’t an issue.

The staff were so friendly and thoughtful! My room would get cleaned and the staff would leave me chocolates and a note of interesting places to visit in the city. The food they serve is wonderful. The view from the pool and the balconies is wonderful. The location is perfect and walking distance to most attractions - I highly recommend the Tapas spot right outside the hotel driveway. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

staff were very helpful and courteous. The walking tour organised by the hotel was a great way to get to know more about Lisbon early on in our stay. The location was excellent - an oasis in the busy city. Breakfast finished at a good time - not too early - and was very varied with a large buffet with fresh fruit and yoghurt, delicious pastries and a range of cooked options. Loved the traditional cocktail ingredients being in the room ready to make a delicious Porto cocktail. And the chocolates under the hat. Appreciated the midday checkout - not too early.

Sometimes the service at breakfast was a little slow - the staff did not always notice your arrival. But once you made yourself known they were very attentive.
