The most wonderful, kind staff at reception who really helped us when we had a delay from the company who were supposed to pick up some luggage for us. Beautiful big room with a huge bed and a leafy outlook. Big doors opening out to the balcony. Comfortable chairs to sit in. Basic but good breakfast with new pastries each day. Exceptional location with a beautiful park opposite with outdoor kiosks, a mirador only 5 mins walk and very easy to get to the centre of town.
There is construction noise at the moment on one side of the building and it meant we couldn’t leave the doors open and take advantage of the beautiful breezes. There is an aircon though if you want to use it. Overall there was plenty of variety at breakfast, good breakfast and a typical continental style so we were happy. Some cold milk at breakfast would be very appreciated for the cereal and coffee. We had to ask each day and usually it was a warm long life milk. Also, the yoghurts didn’t feel very cold and we didn’t want to risk getting sick. Leaving them in the fridge or on ice might be better.

We spent the first five nights of our Portugal trip in Lisbon, and I decided to splurge a bit and booked the best room in this B and B. I am glad I spent the extra money: the room was spacious, well decorated and very comfortable. It overlooks the botanical gardens and sits on a busy street, but the windows shut out almost all noise. The location is great for shopping (although my wife's birthday present from a nearby jewelry shop set me back more than the five nights) and good neighborhood restaurants were nearby. The staff was warm and welcoming, and they always had ready answers to our questions. I had read some negative reviews from a while back, so I had some hesitation about booking this room, but none of them were valid. You will feel like a prince.
There was nothing we disliked. The breakfasts were good, the bed was comfortable, and the service was friendly and helpful.

The staff was helpful with suggestions. The location was really nice across from a park and lots of good food and walking nearby. The room was quiet, good AC and the bed was comfortable.
The small room was really small and the bathroom is not super private, so best for an intimate couple or single. If I returned I would select a bigger room. The breakfast ran out a little early so be sure to go early. There isn't much public space outside of the room or dining room, so best for a traveler that is not at the hotel much, easy to do with a park across the street when the weather is good!

The breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice. The was a wide selection of food. Something for everyone from museli, yoghurt and cereal to eggs and fresh fruit. There were also different Portuguese pastries every day. Staff was very helpful.

The staff is professional and very friendly. We had a smaller room, but with few to the backyard which makes the room quiet and silent to sleep. The breakfast has a big selection and was very good. The location is in one of the beautifulst districts of Lissabon. A little bit up in the city, but there are restaurants and parks close by . You can walk down the street to the old town and pass by a famous fewpoint. Vis a vis is a beautiful park where you can sit, eat and have a coffee or drink after exploring the city.

The self serve breakfast in the morning was delicious and simple. The staff were all incredible and so helpful. Antonio helped us on our check in and was so warm and welcoming. He gave us great food and walking recommendations and even gave us tips on where to go in other parts of Portugal. It is in the heart of the city but still quiet enough at night to sleep.
I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Great location in the heart of great dining, shopping, and strolling. There is a park right across the street and another one with beautiful views of Lisboa just down the street! The rooms are fairly well-sized and beautifully appointed with Baroque and modern touches. Very friendly staff who helped answer all our questions and even helped print our boarding passes!
No easy place to unload from the rental car, but we knew this when we made the reservation and fortunately found a a temporary parking spot down the street. Our room was right on the street, so we could hear some street noise while we had the windows open. But this added to the charm! We missed breakfast as we had a pre-8 AM departure on a Saturday. Will definitely be back, though, and stay longer!

I like the history about the hotel. Also, there was an arboretum behind the hotel and a spacious, quiet restaurant (rare in Lisbon!). Ask hotel staff how to get to these city gems because it is kind of complicated.
Our room was right on a city street. Bring ear plugs if you can't get a guaranteed room on the park side of the building.

Breakfast was good, however if they should consider serving omelet, Staff was attentive and quick to respond for an early breakfast.
Check-in fee for a late check-in after 900 PM. 20 Euros were charged which I find is not acceptable. In the hospitality business you one cannot rely on airline timings. Airlines routinely cancel flights and rebook. We were supposed to come at 5 PM but ended up at 10 PM.

The location is great with plenty of eateries and places to have a drink. The little park in front of the property is well use by locals and travellers alike. We've stayed there once before so we knew what to expect although Post Covid few of our favourite little restaurants did not survive the hiatus.
There is no facilities to make oneself a cuppa once breakfast is over and this has been pointed out to the front desk to pass.
