Fabulous location especially now the new centre and promenade opened opposite.

Hotel is not five star. Rooms are tired, carpets are frayed, paintwork needs redoing etc. Tiles in indoor pool are missing or dirty. Jacuzzi out of order.

The hotel was in a great location & the views are spectacular out over the bay & islands. The facilities in the pool & spa are excellent and everything you would expect. The food in the pool bar was very tasty and quick. The breakfast room was spacious well equipped and the breakfast was good. The room was lovely, it was clean tidy and had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable

There was building work going on next door and the area looked a bit deserted. In fairness they are probably doing all the work before their season begins in earnest this week

Pool and Sun beds - lovely view and comfortable Breakfast good quality and plentiful. Coffee excellent. Food at pool good quality and reasonably priced . Drinks quality and price . Rooms - large clean and bright and a bath Good gym . New updates to furniture in foyer - very nice

Price to use the steam room and sauna excessive at 30 euros per person , per session. Cost of rooms surely covers cost . Really look forward to using the steam room so was extremely disappointed. Outside Pool not horrendously bad but will need soon maintenance soon with missing tiles and dirty grout . Pool bar inside furniture very uncomfortable / poor quality and not in keeping with the rest of the property .

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful view and fabulous facilities. The location is magnificent. The food is exceptional and make sure you have the breakfast when you stay. We celebrated our wedding anniversary during our stay and the staff made it a very special day for us. If you visit the Algarve and love luxury then please include this hotel in your plans

Check-in was simple, and completed early, as our room was available. Nice, big room allocated (comp upgrade to junior suite) - thank you. The gym area is perfectly equipped for a short stay. As other guests have commented, the breakfast is excellent, in both quality and choices available. The location of the hotel is ideal, right on the promenade. It's also relatively close to Faro airport (15 mins drive) for an easy transfer.

The accommodation, although very spacious, was actually a bit 'dated'. And the air-con was noisy. We're not stupid (usually), but we just couldn't get it to switch off!

Staff were excellent, very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean and comfy.

The Spa was disgusting, smell of sweat and mums with their kids using the hot tub as a kid's pool. Unacceptable response by the receptionist when we shared this disappointment with her. I paid to use the Spa and I couldn't use it. The natas at breakfast were not nice, I would expect fresh natas from a Portuguese 5 star hotel.

Poor quality of cleaning in our room. Breakfast was nice but got bored with it after 3 days we stayed for 9 nights. No variety, same choices every morning and food was only lukewarm we like our food hot. We found seating in bar area was very low not really comfortable for us as we suffer from arthritis and found it hard getting up out of the low seats. Seagulls in the outdoor pool was very off putting.

Excellent location. When you walk in there is this amazing aroma coming from their own made diffuser. I had to enquire and of course I bought one for my house. My room cleaner lady was thorough and charismatic. I didn't have to talk to her to know, It was written all over her face! My flight was an early one. I had to leave by 5:00am. The concierge who checked us out the previous night was kind enough to offer us a packed snack for breakfast. This was very thoughtful and unexpected!

The bed was not comfortable.

We loved the location overlooking the pretty marina& Formosa! We choose an executive suite with a large wrap around balcony which was amazing for sunbathing& taking in the views! We booked a short break for our baby moon and the staff made it so incredibly special with desert trays, champagne& chocolates& rose petals on the bed❤️ All the staff were so helpful and friendly, they really made us feel so comfortable& welcome from the moment we arrived! Breakfast was excellent and varied to suit everyone! The bar staff were brilliant& made signature mocktails with fresh fruit so I could feel like I was enjoying a drink😁 A special thank you to Filipa in guest relations for making our trip so perfect… we can’t wait to go back again!

Great location . with spacious clean rooms. staff all very helpful and attentive. Lovely pool area and spa facilities.
