Stayed with some friends for the São João break. The House is located just two or three minutes away, on foot, from the Bolhão subway station, so it's easy to get around. We stayed in a room with three beds - my only "complaint" is that we could do with another plug for charging! Just a word of caution: if you have large or heavy luggage, there is no elevator. Apart from these two small details, we have nothing negative to remark upon. The staff was very kind and helpful, the place clean (and cleaned daily during our stay), the decoration simple but charming. Contacting the property before our journey was also easy and our requests were answered in good time. We did not try the breakfast (mainly because we were getting up late), but were informed that a continental style breakfast was available on the premises, we just had to reserve until the night before and pay an extra fee (can't remember the exact price, but seemed similar to other places in Porto). We all had a lovely glass of Port as a welcome drink!

The staff is so kind and helpful, every single one of them made my trip better for sure. They helped us with the city, with buying wine and with a warm reception. The room has enough space for two people and the balcony is also great.

I think there aren’t enough outlets in the room and I paid for the breakfast but there wasn’t much food left for us, they didn’t replace the dishes so it was kinda bad. The breakfast was not worth of the value.

The staff is friendly & helpful, the concierge, he is outstanding. Down to earth, helpful, honest, kind. The only thing missing (literally) were hooks in the room. The place is immaculate & bright. It’s quiet (as much as is possible, realistically). The place could use a little art in the rooms but that’s ok. It’s simple, which is better than “too much”! I would have loved a coffeemaker but it’s probably so as to not compete with their breakfast service.

Just that some wall hooks would be helpful.

The check-in staff member was awesome. Very personable & helpful. Surprised me with a complimentary Porto wine tasting that was part of the check-in process during my stay. Pity about not being able to take a photo of the Porto wine bottle as my mobile battery was kaput! The air-conditioning for my room must have been running on V8 power as the room temp was always so cool & refreshing to return to after an over-heated, all-day Porto tourist schedule!

Although there was some traffic noise at the front the windows were fitted with double double glazing. Rooms simply furnished but reasonably spacious , pleasant and very clean. Continental breakfast was well worth the 10 euros - wide range of food and could feed an army. Metro station just around the corner and easy walk to river and centre. A number of reasonably priced and good quality restaurants in the "square" 10 minutes walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay with Decanting Porto House! The facilities were clean and the staff extremely helpful and professional. We greatly appreciated the early check in as well as the luggage storage after we checked out. We also received a complimentary glass of port which was delightful. Definitely a great value and would happily stay here again.

The twin beds weren't that comfortable (a bit hard), but this is nitpicky

Staff very friendly and helpful, nice breakfast, decent location near metro and shops.

The room was nice and spacious but was kind of bare and basic. A very small TV for how big the room was, no pictures, everything white and sparse. The shower was good but the cubicle was small with not much room to move around in. The beds were decent, the hotel was generally quiet but any noise in the hallway at all and you heard it. A decent stay, the room could definitely be cosier and nicer but the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made up for these slight negatives.

The room was a nice size, lots of space to unpack and keep things out. Very quiet no nouse through the walls ! and super comfy bed. Nice fresh room decor style. The breakfast area with option to have breakfast on terrace over looking the garden a reall plus and breakfast was very good. Location brill wallking distance to everything.

Nice and clean room in a good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful and generally it is a good hotel in a good area of Porto.

The price is a bit much for what it offers. At least they should include breakfast for free in that price. Also, there is no elevator (there are 3 floors). They should add a small fridge in the room.

Great Location for walking into Porto. The street itself is busy and narrow, although the double, double glazing helps very well. Reception staff all friendly.

There is parking at a car park opposite the hotel. We were on three motorbikes and got charged for three vehicles although the bikes only take up one parking space. I do not agree with the way we are charged, although grateful that it was there.
