This is a stylish, newly opened hotel. The design of the hotel, looking out on to the most beautiful Mediterranean garden, is stunning. Our room was huge and beautiful. The air conditioning worked super effectively. The bathroom was ultra luxurious…huge, chic and with a beautiful rainfall shower tiled in sunburst colours. This new hotel is linked, via the garden, to the longer established Editory Artist hotel. We strolled across the garden to this sister hotel and enjoyed a delightful ‘tasting menu’ one evening, lunch is also available. The hotels offer ‘placements’ to students from the neighbouring tourism and catering college, which means that service is absolutely excellent. The staff were so friendly and enthusiastic. There was a real vibrancy to the hotel.

Nothing. You should book without hesitation.

The breakfast was good, especially once I realised I didn't have to fill my plate with sweet treats! I liked the quiche, cheese and rocket, and fresh fruit. The bedroom was spacious, the shower was lovely. The garden was lovely (although the weather was a bit cold for sitting out in the morning).

The coffee was Americano, which I personally don't like the taste of. Once we realised we could ask for an espresso things started to look better! Juice - nice to have juices at breakfast but I didn't like the taste of the artificial sweetener or preservative that was in all the juices. The low water pressure in the basin tap took a bit of getting used to, useful to understand the sustainability reason for this.

The hotel was really comfortable, the staff were excellent. Coffee machine in the room was excellent (yay good espresso!) We also loved the location for what we were looking for. We also had the Moments" testing menu in the sister hotel (which is a hospitality training school) at the recommendation of our Duoro Valley tour guide who had eaten then before and it was amazing. So well done! We'd definitely stay again.

Hands down the worst coffee machine I've ever come across in the breakfast room. It was truly awful. Powdered milk, bitter coffee... There was also an issue with a sewer smell in our building due to construction nearby (not their fault) and once they fixed the ventilation or whatever so that the smell was gone, the A/C then didn't work properly when we were so was really warm in the night, even with the window wide open. Woke up to 26 degrees on the last morning. Having said that, quite a bit of the situation was out of their control and they did their absolute best to make things right.

The Editory Garden is clean and did the job of giving us a place to stay not too far from the city. We requested a twin room when we booked. It was made up as a double but housekeeping remade it as a twin within half an hour.

We picked it because it had a garden but it was closed for a private function. Breakfast was extra, expensive and looked basic. We had a fabulous home cooked breakfast at a fraction of the price at Cafe Tulipe just down the road. Also the cafe at Sao Bento railway station was good.

It was clean and tidy, stylish and rather big. The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk from main street. Breakfast could be a little more varied, as the options were somewhat limited, but everything was fresh and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

As I mentioned, the breakfast dishes were a little limited. Additionally, I booked in advance at a higher price, but when I checked the actual price on the day of check-in, it was significantly lower, which left me feeling a bit disappointed.

The hotel and rooms are beautifully appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk (uphill) from Bolhao market. Staff also tipped us off that there was street parking right outside the hotel so we just fed the meter (use the Telpark app) every two hours which was about half the price of their underground parking.

We stayed in the "Autumn" block and the view outside was of an old apartment building. The road was also a little noisy during the day. Not a big issue though as we were out most of the time. We could also hear a bit of noise from the corridor and the neighboring rooms.

Location was brilliant, close walk to lots of fantastic local places to eat! Easy to walk to the riveria and other City centre spots! The garden is a nice relaxing atmosphere to end a busy day! Staff here helped us book a tour and had many day trip options which makes organizing your time a bit easier!

Staff were extremely friendly and happy to help, but the bar is exceptionally slow service. Breakfast was a little expensive at €20 a head, we opted for eating in the local cafes instead.

This hotel is fantastic! It only recently opened and is super modern. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location just a short walk to Rua Santa Catarina and the metro station. I’d definitely recommend this place!

Breakfast was amazing and equal to a 4* hotel rating. I am gluten intolerant and the staff provided me with several options to match my dietary requirements (thank you Chef). All the staff where very accommodating throughout my short stay from reception (I got a room upgrade) to F&B. The rooms were new (the hotel is 1 year old), VERY clean, with very good sound insulation (a must for me). I did not her a thing from the corridor in the hotel hallway or the street in front of the hotel. Well done to all the team, this is true hospitality and keep it up.

Nothing, this is an AAA++ recommended hotel.

Great hotel with modern facilities and an inspiring design. It is near city centre, 10 min walking distance which is something we wanted. It is a quite neighbourhood, with metro & bus station nearby, but I strongly suggest walking to see the beautiful surroundings. Great local restaurant options nearby, but you need to book a table in advance to secure a place.

everything was absolutely delightful, nothing I could think of to require improvements.
