Removing the kettle boiler just not to be robbed, & the night man 👨 going into the rooms during night 🚶 walking around to see i don't know what... Probably looking if someone is there for free he forgets that Filipa & Vânia they do a great job!!!!.. A negative Point nothing to do with the staff.. But yes to the owner (HE SHOULD PUT DOUBLE WINDOWS BECAUSE OF THE NOISE CAUSED BY THE STREET PUBS, I'M SURE 100%HE ALREADY MADE THAT MONEY 💷 MORE THAN COUNTLESS TIMES TO DO IT!!!!!) PLEASE IF ANYONE READ THIS BUY EAR PLUGS!!!! 😅

The staff is reaaaally nice, the location is excellent.

Don't have an stove is annoying, as well as they closing almost the whole comum area at night, and having to use keys to unlock the bedroom everytime.

I absolutely loved this place. I’ve been to MANY hostels in my life but it was the first one where staff told me when I was leaving: “it was nice meeting you!” They brand themselves as family ran business I don’t know if they are family but definitely you could feel the aura of friendship, kindness and welcoming. The beds are attached to the wall so there is no issue with people going over or under your bed. The place is clean and smells nice. In the reception they also sell some cool sneakers. All was more than great 😊! 5 ⭐️ I’ve booked 1 night initially - I stayed 1 week.

The only thing is missed was kitchen to cook - there is only microwave and kettle to heat up the water. It is not hostel dependent - there are bars and restaurants outside if you’re staying in the room by the main road prepare for very loud Friday / Saturday nights… and I mean reaaaaaaalyyyyyuuu loud.

The staff can turn an ordinary common hostel into an outstanding, wonderful place. I respect a place that has an accomdating a welcoming atmosphere. That and other reasons I'm rating it a 10. At check-in, I felt welcome, and they asked what time I planned to check out so I could get assistance with my luggage. The hostel is no-frills, and you get what you pay for. I mean that positively the price is fitting to the accommodation it's a pleasant atmosphere. The room is clean, bathrooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. I stayed in a female dorm with 4 beds. The room was exactly as it was pictured on booking.com. The space of the room is generous with plenty of room to move around. The room itself locked and had locked storage inside the room. 24-hour access to the hostel a code is given at check-in to let yourself in and out as you please. The code is given to you during check-in on the card with other useful information. Along with the card, I was given a set of keys to my dorm and the locked storage. The hostel is centrally located with plenty of access to restaurants, bars, and markets within walking distance. I felt safe within the hostel and in the community.

I can not say I didn't like anything, but I should warn other guests that it can get loud at night. The noise is mainly from the outside. As the hostel is centrally located in a busy part of town. It has an energetic nightlife in an active city. While I enjoy city life, others may not find it enjoyable. This is not something the hostel itself can control. It is just something to think about before you book. Another warning is there are stairs. This may be a concern to people with limited mobility. As there are no dorms or beds that can be accessed without climbing stairs.

The staff were very welcoming! Smiley, happy to greet you. Entry details were sorted fast. Great safe vibe. Kitchen, fridge for food, our bags could be left safely for the final afternoon when staff were present in public area corner (thank you). The property was continuously cleaned. Central location. Very good!

It was a really good stay. Only one thing to mention, we had expecting breakfast since it was advertised on the site we were comparing stays at, plus there have been previous reviews saying they enjoyed the breakfast. This left us a little confused in the morning, perhaps it has stopped for now/for a while. I still give the highest ratings

Great location, no problem checking in, staff were very friendly. There is a place where you can sit with your laptop and meet for coffee. There are drawers with a lock and you didn’t have to pay extra for them.

The kitchen is small and there is no way to prepare anything from food, just make sandwiches, heat ready-made food in the microwave, but there is a coffee machine :) In the morning there was not enough space to sit with tea or coffee when the reception room was closed.

Staff was very nice and have very good language skills. Common area is on the smaller side, but it works somehow, has a guitar, a chess board and a large TV for sport lovers. Kitchen was small but in working order, kept very clean. Bed were interesting - they are very thin and hang from the wall, at first to me looked like a prison bunk, but I had no problem sleeping on it, very comfortable actually. The room also had a terrace that opened to the street bellow. Everything seemed very clean.

It can get very loud at night as there’s one of the most famous bars in the city exactly downstairs. Also we only had 1 toilet on the third floor (enough showers and sinks but only 1 toilet for a room of 8+2 other rooms on the same floor -I don’t actually know if these other rooms have a toilet inside-)

The staff does everything to help you out, it is a close walk to everything. It is safe as you need a code to enter the building and the female dorm needs a key (but I think it's the only room). Everyone has a locker to lock their valuables in.

The kitchen is very basic, fridge, microwave and toaster, but you can still survive with that! The bar downstairs can be very noisy! A lot of things to be fixed (leaking ceiling, electricity going out) but you see the staff working on it everyday so it's not like they are not trying!
