Nice spacious room and bathroom. Clean towel Service everyday. Well stocked mini bar, if you should desire.

The lobby was a bit creepy and non-existent. Staff was sometimes helpful and sometimes rude. Room overlooked a courtyard of another hotel and often the breakfast noise or late night noise kept us up or woke us up.

Perfect location to explore the city. Very quiet at night, although it's not far from the main nightlife roads, that are just a few minutes walk away. The hotel's vintage theme is really cool and it added a nice touch to our stay. The staff is friendly and professional, and helped us with everything we needed. The reception is 24/7. The hotel is clean and tidy. Nice terrace on the top floor. We didn't get the breakfast but the smell in the morning was tempting!

The only think we have noticed is a bit of machine noise (probably heating/aircon) from the internal courtyard. Not a problem in winter (we stayed in November), but could be a bit annoying in summer if you have a room on that side andvwant to keep the windows open.

The breakfast is good. However, they could vary more from day to day. I spent there 7 days, and the breakfast doesn't change from day to day. Like, they could vary the fruits ,vegetables or eggs (we had scrambled eggs every day). Again, the breakfast is good, fresh, clean , tasty. But, after spending 3-4 days in a hotel, I would expect for more variations after a few days.

The location is simply unbeatable – with the metro station just a stone's throw away and several key attractions (City Hall, the most beautiful McDonald, Livraria Lello etc) within walking distance, it made exploring the city incredibly convenient. What truly made my stay special was the welcoming and friendly staff. They were always ready with a smile. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained. It was clear that attention to detail was a priority here, with comfortable bedding and all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. After a day of exploring, coming back to such a clean and cozy space was the perfect end to my day. Overall, I would highly recommend this lodging to anyone visiting Porto. Its prime location, exceptional service, and clean, comfortable rooms make it an ideal choice for travelers.

While my overall experience was fantastic, there was one aspect that I found a bit inconvenient. The hotel requires guests to return their room key to the counter each time they leave. While I understand the security benefits, it did feel like an unnecessary step that added a slight hassle to an otherwise smooth stay. It would be more convenient if guests could retain their keys for the duration of their stay with something they won't be able to replicate in key shops.

Excellent location. Exceptional clean hotel. Breakfast plentiful. Staff spoke excellent English, were all friendly and extremely helpful A lot of major building works going on all over the city so no real centre hence a lot of time spent by the river which is spectacular. A boat trip on the river is a must. Very easy to pick up the metro to get to the airport.

Furniture in bedroom a little old fashioned compared to modern bathroom. Mattress a little hard but that’s personal preference. Don’t let the owner’s collection of memorabilia put you off.

The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing. All the staff were very friendly and also gave us advise for where to buy local SIM cards. There is a person at the front desk 24/7 which was the main reason why we booked the hotel as we had an early morning flight to catch on the way back from Porto. Also, the hotel has contact of a taxi company who provided discounted rates for drop off at the airport and the taxi was there in less than 5 minutes from the time the front desk placed the call. We will be definitely recommending this hotel to friends and family.

This hotel is a real one-off. The gorgeous art deco staircase is almost worth a visit in itself, and the fabulous collection of kitsch antiques and memorabilia filling the public areas is unique and delightful. Very comfortable room, great bed, massive bathroom (to be fair they upgraded us for free into 'the best' suite in the building, so we were maybe just lucky). I like the location, and breakfast was pretty good. Pleasant staff, most of whom seem to speak good English.

It's a shame the rooftop bar wasn't open for a nightcap.

Room was clean and tidy and had everything you need. It was also very private and quiet which was great. The location was fantastic a moments walk from great restaurants and bars and not to far from key attractions. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooftop bar was lovely and specifically the staff there were great. The decor provided some great character to the property.

It felt a little strange having to leave the key at the front door each time you left but not too sure how strictly this is enforced.

Overall, it was good. We definitely chose the place because of its location. Its 7min walk from E line metro that takes you straight from airport to central. The hotel theam is retro, so overall, not morden look fitted just fine . The place was very clean and we got room service together with fresh towels every day .we got breakfast with our stay and I realised it was very beneficial as not sure where we would get food at 8am. The food was simple but tasty. I really like famous pastries, so with filling the tummies, we were ready to explore. We didn't use any local transport as the location was very good imand its really walkable distance even if you not frequent walker.

Hotel have outdoor terrace on the roof but unfortunately it was closed in January I guess due to a winter season .

I loved the central location of the hotel in the heart of Porto, offering a fantastic view of the Porto City Hall from my window. The proximity to a variety of cafes, restaurants, and the metro station was incredibly convenient. I loved retro style and small museum inside the hotel near reception.

The requirement to leave the room key at the reception every time I left the hotel was a bit unusual and inconvenient for me, even though it was explained as a security measure. Additionally, the main entrance closing after 11 PM, despite the staff being available to open the door, was a slight inconvenience.
